As time goes by, man is making the earth sick. People cut down too many trees and leave rubbish everywhere. Factories let out their waste without doing anything to it . This has caused some serious problems. Such as the land is sandy, the river is dirty, the air is less clean, even the temperature of the earth is rising. What should we do to save the earth ? My suggestion is that we should plant more trees, put rubbish into dusbins and stop factories (from)pouring waste directly into the air or rivers. In all, we have only one earth, we should do our best to protect it, or we will regret.

Christmas Cards E-mails是我尝试用因特网进行网络英语教学、培养创新思维能力的一个例子。我先让学生上因特网进入我事先选定的网址，让学生自己查找自己最喜爱的图片，然后用英语进行描述，并做成贺卡，以电子邮件的形式发送给老师，接着我打开信箱调出学生们的邮件进行现场点评，最后由学生互评，消化学习内容。下面我以Christmas Cards E-mails为例简介网络环境下英语学习新模式。

一、温故导新引入网络，认定目标

“温故导新”就是复习巩固本节课之前学过的，与本节课有一定联系的知识，从而能顺利地导入新课的学习。在Christmas Cards E-mails教学中，我通过播放课件中学生喜爱的圣诞歌曲，带学生到“网上圣诞”去观赏一系列的圣诞活动复习有关的圣诞词汇来“温故导新”，回忆巩固本节课之前学过的、与本节课有一定联系的单词与背景知识，从而能顺利地进入新课的学习，为学生上网制作圣诞贺卡、发送圣诞邮件做好铺垫。因特网上的圣诞网站有很多，随便一个搜索引擎就可以让学生大开眼界，学生可以运用发散思维各显神通，查到千姿百态的圣诞图片，这样他们既兴趣盎然又积累了大量的“属性表象”。

二、利用网络自主学习，反馈导学

“自主学习”是学生根据自身需要主动地获取知识的过程。学生是信息加工的主体，是意义的主动建构者。在此教学中，我安排学生利用网络自主学习。我指定学生上我精心选择的网址———雅虎英文网站(www.yahoo.com)，然后选择“Greeting”(贺卡)，再选择“Any Occasion”(各种场景)中的“Christmas”(图片)，网上会出现各种各样的圣诞贺卡，学生可以根据自己的喜好，选择最喜爱的圣诞卡片精心制作一张电子贺卡，然后用英语写上自己想祝贺的话，最后发送到老师的电子信箱里(eaglepty@126.com)。有一个学生发了这样一封电子贺卡：Hello, dear Miss Zhao...I love you.Do you want to make a good friend with me?This is my E-mail:zhaoxiangzhang@126.com;Write to me as soon as possible.由于学生的原认知水平因人而异，各不相同，传统的课堂教学把他们定位在一个起跑点上，而网络资源的多样化、丰富性为解决这一矛盾提供了可能。学生可以根据自身的需要，随意调用。他们时而观察，时而思索，时而动手操作，直到自己满意为止，学生们俨然是一个个创新的设计师。多媒体计算机的网络信息储量大，学生每一次探索都能获得认知和创造的乐趣。教师给学生一种方法，不如学生自己去创造发现一种、两种、几十种方法，这也是实践学生创新能力的一个体现。

“反馈导学”是指学生进行了一定时间的自主学习后，教师便可根据他们反馈的情况进行反馈导学。当学生发完邮件后，教师就利用网络监控系统浏览学生发送邮件的情况，并从邮箱中打开学生的电子邮件，浏览评阅学生的邮件，通过监控系统的“快速辅导”及时给予学生指导，修改学生的“作品”，并让学生朗读各自的邮件，互相交流，集思广益，培养学生的合作精神。这样，教师的主导作用和学生的主体作用就得到了充分的发挥。由于网络英语教学给学生提供了比课本更生动、更真实、更丰富的资源，更容易引起学生的兴趣，面对网络，学生必须从浩如烟海的网络信息中查询、取舍对自己有用的资料。因此，网络英语教学有助于培养学生观察、判断、推理事物的能力和相互合作的精神，也更容易激发与培养学生的想象力，使学生可以利用网络所营造的氛围进行创新思维，打破传统式教学的束缚，培养学生自主学习、自我创新的能力。

一、发挥家长的督促作用

家长是与小学生接触最多、相处时间最长的人，在学生的学习过程中发挥着潜移默化的作用。农村学生家长的文化水平普遍不高，很多家长面对英语教师安排的指导任务都会不好意思地说：“老师，你让我们教，我们也不会教呀！”因此，笔者在召开家长见面会时从来不会说让他们回家辅导孩子学习英语的话，而是告诉他们要及时督促孩子学习英语，督促孩子尽量多听英语。

为了让家长知道自身在孩子学习英语过程中的作用，笔者和家长一起研究英语课本，帮助他们认识英语这门课程，并告诉他们相应的要求，即孩子的学习目标，这一目标也是教师、家长、孩子三者共同的目标。家长要及时督促孩子听录音磁带。很多家长根本不懂英语，自然不能辅导孩子学习，此时磁带就成了学生在家里学习英语的唯一“老师”。能否发挥磁带的作用直接影响到孩子学习英语的效果。笔者班上的学生在家每天听半小时录音，家长督促并签字，写明孩子是否听足了时间。三年级是英语学习的起步阶段，笔者要求家长陪同孩子一起听，在听的过程中，注意让孩子眼睛看着书本，口中重复着听到的内容，不要整篇模仿，而是一句一句跟读，从而达到眼看、耳听、口说、脑记。

二、指导学生听的方法

学好英语的关键还是学生自己。当学生刚开始学习英语时，不知道如何使用磁带，这会影响到接下来的听力训练。此时，教师要从方法上予以指导。在预习一篇课文前先通读一遍，把没有学过的单词标注出来，在听的过程中重点听。听老师讲英语时，要特别注意老师的口型变化，不要急于模仿；在听磁带时，要学会根据已学知识进行预测，如辅音字母D、T、K、P等的发音，做到听前有准备。

英语教师要不断强调“听”在学生学习英语过程中的重要性，通过一些反复听磁带学好英语的故事来激发学生“听”的热情，尤其是那些身边真实发生的故事更能激励学生。笔者最喜欢跟学生这样说：“It just like music.”告诉学生听英语就如同听音乐一样使人陶醉：“I like it very much.”同时告诉学生“听”是一个潜移默化的过程，不能急于求成，要有耐心。当学生真正认识到“听”的重要性时，习惯就会慢慢养成。

三、给予学生积极的情感体验

课堂是学生练习听力的主要场所，也是培养学生听英语习惯的主阵地，更是学生展示自己听英语成果的舞台。在课堂教学中，教师应细心观察每一名学生，及时为学生搭建听的平台。听的质量和学生的情感体验有很大关系，教师要善于观察，当学生出现紧张、焦虑、压抑或信心不足时，思维就会变得迟钝，此时听的效果普遍不理想，教师要注意及时调整。在课堂进行听力训练时，还应注意难易适中，由简入难，循序渐进，从而帮助学生消除不利情感因素的影响，树立信心，最终让学生爱上“听英语”。

我们常说“跳一跳摘果子”，英语听力训练更是这样，教师要让学生有积极的情感体验，这样才能让学生爱上英语。学生能在课堂上听懂教师的授课是跨出成功的第一步，为了实现这一目标，教师要尽量使用小学生可以听懂的简单日常交际用语和课堂用语。随着学生英语水平的逐渐提升，教师可以尝试让学生进行英语对话，以培养学生的语感。为了提升学生的听力，教师还可以创新听力训练的方式，如“听与看相结合”“听与动作相结合”“听与说相结合”等。Listen and do，听简单的动词短语，并做出相应的动作； Listen and answer，听对话或短文，看图或句子回答有关问题； Listen and draw，用图来表述听力材料的内容；Lisrten and repeat，听句子，然后让学生进行一词不漏的重述，以此训练学生听的准确性，培养学生正确的语音语调。积极的情感体验为学生的听力训练注入了活力，促使学生积极学习英语。
