时间一分一秒的过去，看着那么多优秀的选手登台演讲，突然觉得自己的信心被浇灭不少。好在朋友们一直在旁边给我鼓励，被她们握着的手一直是暖暖的。激烈的角逐之后，我如愿进入了决赛。但是仍然有一大部分选手被淘汰，然而他们却并没有我想象中的沮丧和悲伤，取而代之的是乐观一笑，然后继续为那些进入决赛的选手喝彩。尤其是低年级的小同学，虽然这一步未能前进，但却并不意味着永久的失败。我想我被他们的心胸和乐观打动，胜利和失败也许对他们来说并没有那么重要，仅仅是种尝试，但是这种精神却是豁达、令人敬佩的。

记忆中，有很多场辨论会都出过类似的题目：口才与文才哪个更重要?如果仅就辩论而言，那答案不言而喻：自然是口才更重要喽。仅凭三寸不烂之舌，就能把对手驳个体无完肤，无言以对，岂不快哉?可是从另外的角度看，洋洋万言倚马可待的才能也着实令人艳羡。毛泽东主席曾说过，丁玲同志一枝笔，抵得三千毛瑟精兵。而鲁迅先生的杂文，更是凌厉如匕首，直逼要害，令所有敌手胆战心惊。如此，能说文才就不重要吗?所以，像所有的辩论题目一样，这个辩题到最后其实也争不出个所以然来。对于大多数的人来说，我相信都是一个愿望：希望鱼和熊掌兼得，最好能同时拥有这两种才能。可事实上，既能口若悬河又能下笔万言的人，无论是历史上还是现实中，都并不多见。常见的恰恰大都是只专一能的人。

因为书面语和口头语是不一样的，所表达的效果截然不同。嘴上功夫好便于交流，有亲和力，能给人留下直接而又深刻的映像，笔上功夫好能体现你的学识，而且表情达意上能做到意蕴深长。所以我要告诉大家：不要做口吃的.作家，也不要做个手笨的演说家。可能大家会觉得这句话是人的一个理想的状态，但是我们也能套用一些数学语言，比如说“极限”，既然无法与之重合，那就让我们无限接近吧。

昨天晚上，我问到我的一个室友，人在世上到底是所谓的“笔”要硬点还是“嘴”要硬点呢?他想都没想，就回答我，当然是笔要硬些，因为笔要写字，而嘴是用来干什么的呢?呵呵!

“讲”是一个人必须具备的口头表达能力，同时也反映出一个人思维是否敏捷，语言风格特色，讲话的艺术水平等。但是，“讲”不能囊括一个人的综合素质，更不能代表一个人所具备的“德才能绩”的标准。“会讲”只是“基本功”，更重要的选用人标准，不仅要看其是否“会讲”，还要“观其言，看其行”，评判其实际能力。诸如，组织能力、指挥、协调能力和领导水平等。有的人无才却“会讲”，“嘴功”好而“做功”差，有的人有才却“茶壶里装饺子——有口倒不出”。有的人“嘴功差”却很有领导能力和较高的综合素质，“嘴功”虽然不太好，但通过长期的实践锻炼，完全可以提高其“讲话水平”。
