So fruit is good for health. Don‘t have a lot of food that contains too much fat, such as butter. Meanwhile, sweets should be eaten in proper quantity, because too much sugar does harm to us. Secondly, exercise is necessary. Regular exercise can help us keep from getting fat. People who do running every day usually have stronger hearts than who don‘t.

Finally, form good living habits. We should sleep for about 8 hours at night,and never work too hard. Over work and little sleep will lead to illness. What‘s more, stay away from cigarettes.

These are the things we should pay attention to so as to stay healthy.

一、从外观上要求,书写要规范

英语教师不仅要教给学生英语知识,更重要的是要引导他们会学英语。高一仍处于英语入门阶段,有资料显示,高一学生英语成绩分化的原因之一是学习方法与新的教学内容不相适应。高一学生一般都不同程度地存在学习习惯不良的问题,学生往往死记单词,听完课做完作业了事,头脑中没有“学会了什么”的意识,没有学习效率的观念,学习方法单一,加之没有良好的学习习惯,越学越困难,以致最终丧失信心……因此,教师首先要指导学生学会听课、学会做笔记,为培养良好的学习习惯打下基础。

一、在教学过程中,注意高一年级与初中的衔接过渡

高一新学期开始,我用了一月左右的时间从语音,句型结构等方面帮助学生系统复习。尽快使学生适应高中英语教学,具体做法是:培养学生课前预习、课后复习的良好的学习习惯;坚持尽量用英语授课,要求并鼓励学生用英语思考问题、回答问题;根据高考要求,从高一年级开始就培养学生的阅读能力,教会学生一些阅读技巧,养成良好的阅读习惯;另外,课后加强与学生接触,尽快和学生熟悉起来。

二、重视语言知识的教学

(1)坚持让学生作SPOKEN ENGLISH SHOW是锻炼学生开口的好方法。让学生轮流在讲台前向同学们展示自己的口语,.可以是讲小故事,可以是分享美文,也可以是笑话。

(2)适当让学生表演对话或课文内容。针对近期所学内容,布置学生课后进行讨论排练,然后再搬上课堂表演。

3、培养学生的自学能力

4、认真抓好英语早读和晚上天天读

通过早读和晚读可以发现学生的发音、朗读、理解课文及语法概念上存在的问题,并及时给予纠正、示范和指导,从而掌握了学生实际水平,从而帮助学生。这样就可以有针对性地制定各阶段的教学计划及具体教学安排,有利于提高教学质量。早读课不像上正课那样规矩严格,师生之间的交流也不拘形式,这样有助于密切师生感情。而这时情感的产生往往在激发学生学习英语兴趣方面起着积极的作用,同时也是推动学生学习的动力。从心理学的角度来说,早晨是人的记忆高峰期,在这个时期朗读英语、拼读单词、背诵课文或练习语音语调等,能在短时间内收到事半功倍的效果。晚读可以弥补早读未完成的阅读任务,也可以巩固课上遗留下来的内容。

三、对新教材使用的困惑

通过以上的做法,学生的兴趣明显增强,信心也增强了,学习变得主动了。然而在教学的过程中,我也对教材的使用有不少困惑:

1、生词量大,学生难以掌握

新课标要求的词汇量:修完1-5本必修课本,词汇量为2400-2500个,达到七级要求;达到八级要求,即修完1-8本教材,词汇量要求为3300个;九级要求的词汇量是4500个。鉴于这样的安排,每个单元的词汇基本是在50-60之间。对于我们县城中学的学生来说,难度颇大。每个模块单词讲解的广度和深度很难把握,还需要认真努力探究。

2、任务型听力比较难

新教材每个模块中的听力内容比较多,连同练习册中的至少有三个听力材料与练习,尽管所选材料都与本单元话题密切相关,但是总体难度都很大。而且听力测试中任务型听力难度更大,学生能够听出来,但是不能写出答案,所以这一块有待加强。

3、教学内容多,学生积极性不高

学生进入高中,对新学期的生活充满期待,对英语学习也是如此,无论是重点班还是普通班,刚开始都是精神饱满,信心百倍。可是一两个月的教学过后,发现学生们的精神状态开始逐渐走下坡路,究其原因:1、教材难度大,内容多,应接不暇;2、课堂所学的内容似乎和考试脱节,试题不会做,没有成功感;3、学生本身意志力薄弱,碰到困难极易退缩。

四、对新教材使用的反思与实践

1、夯实基础,注重课本,发展能力

近年来高考英语逐渐侧重于语言能力的考查,对语言知识的直接考查相对地减少了。因此,在教学过程中,首先组织学生巩固各项基础知识,同时通过练习加强和巩固基础知识。利用早自习和晚上的天天读时间要求学生熟记和巩固词汇以及一些重难点句子。坚持每个模块单词,短语的听写,句子的翻译,重难点句子的默写。

2、加强听力的练习

听力在整个试卷中占有很大的分值,而且现在题型的改变,所以必须加强这方面的训练。让学生听的时候多动笔,多写写,就不会出现听得懂写不出的问题。这样的话任务型听力就不会有太大的问题。

3、加强阅读的训练

阅读理解在整个试卷中也占有很大的分值,要想阅读理解取胜,平时就要养成阅读的习惯,要养成积累词汇和扩大词汇量的习惯。

4、书面表达需加强

我要求学生要有一本书面表达的素材本。这本笔记本中要有学生的原作,学生要修改自己的原作,还要有优美的范文。书面表达是提高二卷得分的关键。要想在高考有限的时间里写出一篇精彩的文章,没有平时大量的语言积累是不行的。

一、初中、高中英语教学方法的衔接

高中的英语知识中有大部分是初中学过的知识的延伸和加深, 而高中英语是在初中英语的基础上更侧重培养学生的阅读能力和语言运用能力。高一新生的思维方式基本上还保持着初三水平, 他们思维中的抽象概括, 推理论证在很大程度上依靠的是具体经验材料, 因此, 教学中应注意教法的衔接。

1. 布置预习

高考侧重检测学生的语言运用能力和交际能力, 因此我课前先指导学生如何有效地进行预习。对生词、词组、长句、难句的理解程度, 到整篇文章的理解程度, 学生带着问题上课, 就做到了事半功倍。同时, 在上课以前, 我要求学生先回答练习册里面的问题, 并将每课中的重点词组、句子先找出来, 这样, 老师上起课来就顺畅得多了, 而学生也较容易消化老师上课时所讲的知识点。

2. 以旧带新

我在高一上学期的英语教学中多采用了归纳、以旧带新、新旧对比, 联系贯通等方法。不断把初中内容的复习引向有助于高中语言点的学习, 做到真正的“温故知新”。

3. 引发联想

我尽可能地将语言点分解成简单的实用句型。在讲解新句型时, 诱导学生进行联想, 利用初中学过的知识进行句型转换练习。这样, 既能复习、巩固旧知识, 又能更好地理解、掌握新内容。

二、初、高中英语知识的衔接

在高一新生中, 对初中英语知识的掌握存在着缺陷与“断层”的现象, 这给高中教学工作增加了难度。新教材编写也有些不尽如人意的地方, 如语法教学过于松散, 不利于学生对某一语法有系统的、宏观的把握。针对这种现象, 我在高一起始的教学中特别注意加强基础知识, 采取相应措施, 因材施教, 给学生补缺补漏, 力求做好初、高中英语知识的衔接工作。初、高中英语知识的衔接可分重点拾遗补漏和全面复习初中知识两个阶段。第一阶段主要安排在高一的第一二周, 对学生的英语水平进行摸底调查, 确立补缺重点。第二阶段则是把全面复习初中知识贯穿在高中教学的整个过程中。第三阶段, 一个单元的教学完结之后, 我准备了三套配置的练习: (1) 基础巩固练习。侧重单词拼写、词组搭配, 语法点、句型转换的练习, 让成绩较差的学生先把基础巩固好。 (2) 能力提升练习。着重完形填空、阅读理解, 让学生在掌握好基础的练习之后, 能力得到进一步提升。 (3) 作文训练。我先按课本的要求进行写作、练习。因此, 我有意识地衔接教学, 使学生通过新旧知识对比, 既巩固已学过的知识, 又加深对新知识的理解。

高一英语课的教学质量与效果不是在于给学生灌输了多少语言点, 而是上课的艺术。高一英语难度比初中增大了许多, 若还能使学生像初一时那样喜欢英语, 那我们的教学效果一定会很好。高一学生不同于初中学生, 他们更有自学能力, 一旦入门, 其效果会远远超出老师教授的作用。

1. 做好每节课的前奏工作

一节课的开头如同给一首歌定调一样, 它可以决定课堂节奏的快慢及教学效果。我利用每节课前三分钟时间, 让学生轮流做值日报告, 保证每一位同学都有机会展示自己的风采, 内容是关于自己熟悉的日常生活, 由自己任意选定。学生都有争强好胜的心理, 他们都会认真构思、别出心裁, 课前反复练习, 这样可以调动学生学习英语的积极性, 创造一种学英语的氛围, 学生可以在心情愉快的气氛中开始学习。

2. 读透教材, 精心设计教法

每一单元的教学方法应根据各单元的特点, 勤于思考, 用心设计, 尽力使各课的教学方法各异, 以增强学生的新鲜感, 调动他们学英语的积极性。如每一单元的Warming up这一环节的话题, 大多比较贴近学生的日常生活, 如friendship, music等, 可以让学生先谈他们各自的观点与看法, 积极参与到课堂活动中来, 最后老师来小结。

坚持阅读课的整体教学。阅读材料是语言的载体, 集语音、词汇、语法与文化内容于一体。可采用关键词、提纲、问答题、图表、听录音等多种方法。在学阅读材料之前, 进行限时阅读, 老师设置一些问题, 要求学生在限定的时间内完成, 培养学生快速浏览课文, 准确把握课文大意的能力, 这样可以训练学生的阅读理解能力。串讲课文时, 通常挑选出能表示课文主体的关键词和短语, 巧妙地设计板书, 使板书能勾画出课文概要。阅读理解能力的训练是培养自学能力、“授人以渔”的重要环节。英语阅读是一种辨认文字、理解语篇、进行思考、了解其中意义的、复杂的心理过程, 是一种心智技能, 是获取信息、处理信息、应用信息全过程的初级阶段。加强阅读能力的训练, 不仅是提高获取信息的“量”的手段, 更是提高“质”的重要途径。由于高中英语落后生读不懂课本、读不懂题的现象十分普遍, 因此, 教师除注意规范自身的课堂教学 (教学用语准确、规范, 课堂表述干净利落) 外, 在高一引入新的知识点时, 就应注重阅读的要求和训练。要让学生仔细阅读课本, 通读内容, 了解概要, 准确理解。在阅读过程中如果产生疑问 (或教师设置了疑问) , 教师要指导学生带着问题再仔细阅读有关内容, 通过对基础知识的理解使疑问得以解决。

在学生熟悉了阅读材料内容的基础上, 讲解语言要点并进行必要的语法归纳, 使学生进一步理解、巩固课文。高一学生在初三复习阶段, 老师侧重英语讲题, 大量用汉语讲课, 高一开始用英语授课, 学生很难适应, 所以, 要用简单、切合学生实际水平的英语讲课, 使学生逐渐适应。

总之, 高一阶段的英语学习有着承上启下的作用, 为以后顺利完成高二、高三的英语教学奠定了基础。所以, 教师要钻研教材, 精心设计, 努力创新教法。要保护学生学习英语的积极性, 注重培养学生学习英语的兴趣、正确的学习方法及良好的学习习惯, 建立融洽的师生关系, 帮助他们树立学习英语的自信心, 使他们适应高一英语学习, 顺利完成初高中英语教学的衔接。
