当一个新概念、新事物进入人的脑海时,首先是感觉印象,而人的第一感觉印象往往较深刻。一个字母、一个单词、一个句子,用英语怎样表达,首先从听录音开始建立语言印象,进行形象思维,能形成较好的学习效果。比如学习句子,先让学生跟着录音说一遍两遍或多遍(进行初步感觉印象),要使学生听清听准直到自己会说(由感觉到知觉)。若某个句子学生一时不能模仿准确,教师可示范性地说一遍两遍,然后让学生跟着录音说几遍(加深知觉印象)。接着教师用手势或语言表明意思(若有必要,可在起初说明意思或交代情景),再让学生自己读或教师领读几遍(巩固知觉印象),这样,也就基本上达到了能听会说的地步。这样进行的英语学习,学生印象深,记得牢。然而这一形式的学习较费时间,学生初学英语时较适用,在以后的教学中,可视学生接受的情况,逐渐减少其中的步骤。

四、听录音进行读写训练,有利于巩固知识,提高能力

当英语学习进入课文阶段时,学生在充分理解了课文内容之后,让其听录音进行朗读课文的训练,他们能读出英语的情调来,他们乐于听乐于读,通过听和读能加深学生的知识印象,从而巩固所学知识。而且这时根据录音读课文,对其语音、语调表达能起到有效的规范性的导向,使其口头表达能力能得到进一步的提高。听录音写字母、写音标、写单词可边听边写,而写段落、写文章一般是第一遍听,第二遍写,第三遍检查与校对。进行这种形式的训练,学生通过耳听、手写、头脑记忆,既能提高其听的能力,又强化了记忆,巩固了所学知识。

综上所述,英语教学中使用录音,对培养学生的英语学习兴趣,规范其英语语言表达,提高听说能力及进行读写训练,巩固所学知识等均能起到促进作用。教学中只要积极、合理、持之以恒地使用录音教学手段,我们的英语教学质量就一定能有所提高。
