一、爱国主义教育的重要性

人类最高的道德是什么?那就是爱国心(拿破仑)。爱国是一个永恒的主题,爱国主义精神是千百年来沉淀下来的人们对自己祖国的一种深厚情感。鲁迅先生说过:“唯有民魂是宝贵的,唯有她发扬起来,中国才能真的进步。”爱国主义是华夏儿女生生不息、薪火相传的民族精神,是中华民族不断发展壮大的精神动力。如果我们每一位学生都能为中华之崛起而读书,每一位教师都能为祖国的富强而发光,每一位工人都能为民族的振兴而拼搏,每一位干部都能为祖国的繁荣而甘为孺子牛,每一位军人都能为国家的安定而奉献,每一位华夏儿女都能为中国的腾飞而奋斗,那中华民族的伟大复兴指日可待,我们的中国梦终将实现!

二、爱国主义教育的现状

笔者曾经对本校九年级学生做过一次《学生德育现状调查问卷》,其中有几道涉及爱国情感的题目如下:

①升国旗、唱国歌时,你的感觉如何( )

从问卷调查结果分析可知:大多数学生对自己的祖国有着相当朴素而深厚的情感,也渴望通过学习,建立起对祖国更多的了解和更深的情感,并愿意去化为行动;但仍有一部分学生认为爱国主义是空洞的口号,升国旗等行为是形式主义,根本没感觉。学习上也浑浑噩噩,失去了革命先辈“为中华之崛起而读书”的豪气和爱国情感。

三、为什么要在教学中渗透爱国主义教育

初中阶段是人生观、世界观萌芽的时期,是品德发展的关键时期。而当今社会,由于正处于经济转型时期,各种不良思想潮流的侵袭,以及电视网络等媒体的影响,在很大程度上影响着青少年的身心发育。社会的德育大环境对涉世未深、自控力差、明辨是非的能力还没形成的青少年来说不太理想,爱国主义教育显得空洞没有说服力。

另外,由于我国特殊的经济发展现状,导致单亲家庭、留守儿童大量激增。亲情的缺失、隔代的教育、家长的浮躁,再加上初中生特殊的叛逆期,家庭中的爱国主义教育微乎其微,效果也不理想。

所以,学校成为爱国主义教育的主战场,学校对学生进行着有目的、有计划、系统的爱国主义教育将对初中生品德发展产生重要影响。尤其是在课内的教学过程中,通过教师的情境设置,将爱国思想与教材内容相融合,相对于传统的说教式的教育方式,学生往往更有所触动,更容易接受。

因此,如何让学生能够知行统一,加强教学过程中的爱国主义教育渗透的影响是重中之重。

四、仁爱英语九下教学中能有效地渗透爱国主义教育

《义务教育英语课程标准》指出,基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是:“帮助学生了解世界和中西方文化的差异,开阔视野,培养爱国主义精神,形成健康的人生观。”作为英语教师,我们理应让学生明白学习英语的目的是为了更好地了解世界,传播中国文化,弘扬爱国主义精神,在体验中外文化的异同中形成跨文化意识,增进国际理解,提高人文素养,更好地与世界沟通,更好地报效祖国。

仁爱英语九下的教学内容在中考中所占比例虽小,但它却是进行爱国主义教育的“主战场”。

1.江山如此多娇,引无数英雄竞折腰

九下Unit 5 Topic 1 How much do you know about China?中介绍了中国的五岳、西藏和杭州西湖等驰名中外的风景名胜。在实际教学中,除了教授各风景名胜、旅游地的英文表达和介绍外,还可以结合其他的名山大川,如庐山、黄山、喜马拉雅山、长江、黄河等,讲述祖国大地上多姿多彩的自然景观和人文景观,激发学生对我国壮丽河山的无限热爱,渗透爱国主义教育。

2.流在心里的血,澎湃着中华的声音

九下Unit 5 Topic 1还介绍了“东方明珠”香港、“赌城”澳门和“宝岛”台湾三个地方,描述了它们的历史、风景和人文。文章末尾提及:If you come to China for a visit,dont miss them!(如果你来中国参观,千万别错过它们。)应当抓住这个机会,与学生重温香港、澳门回归的历史,播放《东方之珠》和《七子之歌》,继而展望宝岛台湾早日回到祖国大家庭的怀抱,实现祖国的伟大统一,引导学生牢牢树立祖国统一的爱国思想。

3.景仰前辈人,高节骞云山

九下Unit 5 Topic 2 He is really the pride of China.中介绍了中国历史上的许多名人,如伟大的教育家、思想家孔子,成功地七次出使西洋的伟大航海家、外交家郑和,“中国航天之父”“中国导弹之父”钱学森等。

(1)Section A介绍了孔子的生平事迹及他留给我们的精神财富,其“仁义礼智信”的儒家思想不仅影响了中国几千年来的发展进程,也成为东方人品格和心理的理论基础;遍布世界各地的孔子学院,让学生更能体会到孔子思想超凡的影响力,为我们先人的智慧感到由衷的敬佩和自豪。

(2)Section B再现了郑和七次下西洋的壮丽画卷,其时间之长、规模之大、范围之广、影响之大是前无古人后无来者的,并且比欧洲著名的航海家哥伦布发现美洲新大陆早了半个多世纪,是世界航海史上的壮举,激发学生对英雄的崇敬之情。

(3)Section C介绍了中国的导弹之父钱学森的奋斗历程,展示了其励精图治的坚定信念和高尚的道德情操,引导学生学习他对待科学的钻研精神、无私奉献的精神及其伟大的爱国主义精神。

4.四大发明世界巅,千古流芳写诗篇

九下Unit5,Topic3介绍了中国古代的四大发明the Four Great Inventions of Ancient China,帮助学生了解这些中国古人智慧的结晶是中华民族对人类世界的巨大贡献。但现在四大发明逐渐淡出人们的视线,可能若干年后人们将不再重视他们的历史地位。就像很多媒体报道的城市现代化建设和古城保护之间的抉择一样,文化的创新、文化的继承和文明的失落之间的矛盾,引发学生的思考,启发学生寻找身边逐渐失传的古文明,如剪纸、刺绣、书法等。引导学生思考:这些老祖宗的东西虽然不再实用,但是我们是否愿意这些美好的事物失传?爱国的情感,用另一种方式得到了体现——保护中国文化遗产和文明,会成为这堂课最后的共识。

5.天地有大美而不言

九下Unit 6 Topic 2由大家耳熟能详的孙悟空形象导入对中国传统文化的认识,引导学生畅谈对四大名著的理解,《西游记》的神幻,《水浒传》的忠义,《三国演义》的历史,《红楼梦》的爱情及家族兴衰,无不彰显着中国古代文学艺术的魅力。在此基础上,带领学生走进中国古典文学的世界:《弟子规》《三字经》的为人之要,《论语》的小句子大智慧,《诗经》的典雅古朴,唐诗的大气,宋词的清婉,元曲的激越多姿,明清小说的世间百态……让他们徜徉于源远流长、博大精深的中华传统文化中。接着趁热打铁,结合不久前国家领导人在韩国访问时信手拈来引用古诗,阐释友邻之国应该同舟共济、携手共进,引发媒体聚焦解读的报道,引导学生理性面对东西方文化的交融碰撞,避免亲近“韩流”或西方文化而摒弃华夏民族底蕴深厚的、有大美而不言的传统文化。

相较于传统的德育,在教学中有目的、有计划、有针对性地进行德育渗透,更能触动学生内心,达到水到渠成的德育效果,爱国主义教育亦是如此。教材是德育的载体,现行的仁爱英语教材中有很多内容都具有丰富的德育意义。很多初三教师在处理仁爱英语九下教材时,总是蜻蜓点水一带而过。殊不知,仁爱英语九下教材是渗透爱国主义教育的巨大宝藏。当然,英语教学中的爱国主义教育渗透是“冰冻三尺,非一日之寒”,要将爱国主义教育始终贯穿于英语教学中,循序渐进,持之以恒,以期达到“水滴石穿”的效果,帮助学生真正做到知行统一,树立爱国精神。

一、教学目标:

本课是仁爱版英语八年级下Unit7 Topic2的第一部分。根据教材内容和学生的实际情况,我拟定了以下教学目标:

1、知识目标:

A、掌握重点词汇:cut、fry、add等词的用法。B、学习以whether引导的宾语从句。C、掌握表示顺序的副词用法。First„Next„Then„Finally„

2、语言目标:培养学生运用英语描述制作炒饭的过程。

3、情感目标:培养学生勇于实践,不怕困难、永保乐观的探索精神。同时,增强学生尊重长辈的意识,树立团结互助的思想。

三、本课设计的教学理念:

新课程强调“课程是经验”,本课紧紧围绕着“How to make fried rice”这一主题,让学生积极体验和参与,大胆实践,形成积极的学习态度,达到学以致用的目的。通过对话的学习与实践,进一步学习体验煮面条的过程。通过小组活动,使学生在心智发展的同时,在情感上也能逐渐成熟起来。

四、本课教法分析

本课我采用了直观教学法导入新课。比如:呈现fried rice的图片引入新课。此外,在教学过程中通过任务型教学“来实现”为用而学,用中学,学了就用的理念,充分发挥学生的主动性各创造性,以交流与合作的学习方式,实现任务目标,让学生感受成功,学会独立思考的良好习惯。培养热爱劳动,珍惜劳动成果的良好风尚。
