信度 (reliability) 这个概念最先源于“教育和心理测试标准”, 在20世纪80年代渐渐被引入到语言测试领域, 对语言测试的科学化与规范化起到了不小的作用。所谓信度, 从定性的角度来说, 信度是关于测量结果一致性程度的量度 (邹申, 2011) 。这种一致性可能是关于不同时间的一致性, 可能是关于由等价项目组成的不同测试间的一致性, 也可能是关于不同评分者间的一致性, 也可能是关于不同次决策的一致性, 也可能是关于以上几种因素不同组合情况下的一致性。这种一致性通常用信度系数 (一般用相关系数) 表示。从定量的角度来说, 信度是关于测量结果偏离真值大小的量度。这种量度通常用测量的标准误差 (standard error of measurement) 表示。翻译, 不论是文学翻译还是非文学翻译, 都需要有一个参照系衡量译文的质量。因此, 将信度这个语言测试学的概念引入商务英语翻译中, 对评价译文质量, 为从事商务英语翻译工作的译员提供改进译文质量的参照系有重大的指导意义。

二、翻译信度

在翻译活动过程中, 首先应该保证翻译的信度。翻译信度 (translation reliability) 指的是关于翻译结果一致性程度的量度。翻译信度研究有利于优化和配置翻译资源, 以便在保证可行性和经济性的前提下, 最大限度地提高翻译结果的精确程度。翻译评价的任务是对译者能力进行科学的、客观的、公正的鉴定。翻译测试信度的高低, 受“原文的质和量、翻译实施、评价方式三方面因素的牵制”。因此, 评估翻译信度的关键是看以上三方面的规范和管理情况。

(一) 原文的质和量

原文内容与所要求的译者能力不一定是一致的。目前国内商务翻译的内容多样, 大多局限在语句、语段和语篇等层面, 能够契合翻译能力的多要素本质。质高量大的原文比较普遍。越是商务专业化程度高的原文, 对译者在翻译过程中运用专业知识的能力要求就越高。

(二) 翻译实施

我们先可以采用一些无条件句子翻译来检测译者对相关翻译技巧的掌握, 或者用语篇中的单句或语段翻译评价译者在商务语境限制下的翻译能力。词组翻译一直是很多译者为之不屑的, 其实词组翻译可以为译者提供熟悉商务翻译的语境。翻译过程中, 很多难点是由于原文使用了商务习语或商务行话等表达法。因此, 译者可以在翻译实践中积累商务习语或行话等的翻译技巧, 从而利用翻译实践活动的反拨作用促进译者加强这方面的积累。

(三) 评价方式

可以采用如下的一些方法检测商务译文的信度, 即重复测试法 (test-retest method) 、平行卷测试法 (parallel form test) 、对半分析法 (split half test) (邹申, 2011) 。例如, 重复测试法 (testretest method) 是使用同一份翻译原文, 在译后较短时间内再译一次, 然后将两次译文进行对比, 找出其中的相关性。平行卷测试法 (parallel form test) 是采用一套与原文形式及内容相当的文章, 让同一译者在时间连续或间隙很短的情况下先后翻译两套原文, 然后分析两次译文的相关性。对半分析法 (split half test) 则只翻译一篇原文, 然后将译文分成前后两半, 分析前后两半译文的相关性。

三、译者商务专业语言知识

商务英语是英语的一种社会功能变体, 是专门用途英语中的一个分支, 是英语在商务场合中的应用。它涉及技术引进、对外贸易、招商引资、对外劳务输出、国际金融、涉外保险、海外投资、国际运输等方面 (曹海雄, 2015) 。这些知识可以体现在商务英语的用词、句法和文体等方面。

(一) 词汇特色

1. 正式性

正式性是商务英语词汇的一个基本特色, 在商务合同、协议和信函中使用较为普遍, 可以使商务文书显得庄重、严肃。例如, 用“constitute取代form, terminate取代end, locality取代place”。

2. 陈旧词语

许多陈旧词语在其他文体中已经不常用了, 但在商务英语中却使用得较为频繁。例如, 用hereinafter表达later in this contract, 用thereunder表达under that part of a contract。

3. 专业术语

专业术语主要用于政治、经济、文化等相关专业领域。这些术语的意思是固定的, 通常只有专业人士才能懂得它们的意思 (洪碧芬, 2010) 。如, down payment (分期付款) , insurance policy (保险单) , accept (承兑) , collection (托收) , tale quale (按照样品) , del credere (货价保付代理) 。

4. 缩略词

由于缩略词有以下几个方面的特性, 首先是使商务单证标准化, 其次是使商务行文简洁, 再次是能够清晰地界定当事各方的权利、义务与责任 (李海芳, 2013) 。因此, 缩略词在商务英语中的意思可能与普通英语中完全不同。如, D/A (Documents against Acceptance) 承兑交单, 3 A service (anytime, anywhere and anyhow) 任何时间、任何地点用任何方式提供服务。

(二) 句法特色

1. 长句式

虽然商务英语中也存在短句, 但更多使用的还是长句, 特别是在商务文书中, 一个长句中可能包含较多的分词短语、从句以及限定词。

For quantity discrepancy, claim should be filed by the Buyer within15 days after the arrival of the goods at the port of destination;while for quality discrepancy, claim should be filed by the Buyer within 20 days after the arrival of the goods at the port of destination, subject to the inspection report issued by qualified inspector.

2. 固定句式

许多固定句式在商务英语中以固定格式出现, 可以节约大量的时间, 减少歧义, 提高商务沟通的效率, 因此在商务交际中广为接受和使用。例如:

We are in receipt of your letter of... (用于商务信函的开头语)

We are waiting for your immediate reply. (用于商务信函结束)

It would be appreciated... (用于要求对方做某事情)

3. 被动语态的使用

为了使句子连贯, 结构紧凑, 在商务英语中大量使用被动语态。例如:

The shipment are to be covered against WPA.

(三) 文体特色

1. 信息性

商务英语的主要功能就是在商务人士之间传递各种各样的信息, 促进他们之间更好地交流。因此, 商务文体富含信息性。例如, The Contract is prepared in two counterparts each in English and Chinese, each of which shall deem equally authentic. (强调说明合同具有中英文两个版本, 但具有同等效率。)

2. 正式性

为了使商务单证、文书等显得严肃、正式和庄重, 商务英语较少采用简单的日常用词, 大多使用很正式的词语。例如:

We are eager to be well informed about the market trend.

四、译者商务专业语言知识对翻译信度的影响

(一) 翻译信度标准

翻译信度对任何一种翻译活动来说都是必不可少的。如何衡量翻译的信度, 从理论上来说, 就是要看对类似难度原文翻译结果的一致性。相同类型的原文, 无论进行多少次的翻译, 其译文的质量都会保持稳定。

(二) 译者商务语言知识对翻译信度的影响

1. 词汇层面

商务英语中的用词具有规范性, 在商务活动的方方面面都会涉及商务专业知识, 这些知识都会采用较为准确和专业的术语来表达 (张琼瑶, 2014) 。例如, Honor (承兑) , Factor (代理人) , Credit (贷款) 。

因此, 译者如果不能掌握商务英语的词汇特性, 就会直接影响商务英语翻译的信度。

2. 句法层面

商务英语要求表达意思清晰, 会大量地使用固定句式和长句, 并且在句子中比较频繁地使用被动语态。因此, 这一特点就要求译者要能够驾驭商务英语中的长难句。

3. 语用及文化层面

在商务交际中, 不同语言使用者在语言和文化层面存在较大的差异。因此, 译者在进行商务翻译的过程中, 一定会遇到因风俗习惯、法律法规和文化环境等方面的差异, 原文当中的许多表达法, 根本就无法在译入语中找到与之相匹配的表达法 (张学芳, 2014) 。如果译者在这方面的知识欠缺, 那么也会直接影响翻译的信度。

(三) 提高商务翻译信度的对策

1. 掌握专业术语

商务英语涉及的领域非常宽泛, 可能涉及许多相关的行业领域, 因此作为商务英语的译员, 不但要注意积累商务领域的固有专业词汇, 还要时时关注商务领域的新词语和新的表达法。

2. 掌握跨文化知识

由于文化环境的不同, 造成了不同国家之间的社会制度、文化和宗教信仰有很大的差异, 同样一种文化概念, 在另外一种文化中可能会有迥然不同的意思。为了实现商务翻译的准确性和提高商务翻译的信度, 译者应注意不同文化之间的差异性。

3. 掌握商务英语翻译技巧

商务英语虽然具有较强的专业性, 但是进行商务英语翻译时首先应当遵守基本的翻译原则, 同时应注意商务翻译的相关特性。首先, 多义词词义的界定以及相关专业词汇的意思表达。其次, 词性的转换以及词义的变更。商务翻译中经常存在名词、介词与动词之间的转译。再次, 商务英语中结构复杂的长句较多, 要求译者能够进行符合商务英语特征的句子结构划分。

随着国家“一带一路”战略的实施, 我国的国际商务活动会更加频繁, 为提升我国在国际商务活动中的竞争力, 减少商务活动中各方之间的摩擦, 我们有理由不断地提升商务翻译的质量。衡量商务英语翻译的质量有多种标准, 但是从翻译信度的视角来审视译文的质量, 也算是对商务英语翻译质量评价标准的一种有益补充。

摘要:商务英语翻译与普通英语翻译的最大区别就在于它的专业性。商务英语是英语语言知识和商务专业知识的综合体, 它的语言之中带有较强的商务专业性。正是由于这一原因, 造成了商务英语翻译较为复杂, 从事商务英语翻译的译者, 不仅要具有较好的双语功底, 还应掌握相关的商务知识。将信度的概念引入商务翻译质量的评价之中, 并从译者商务专业语言知识的角度分析其对商务英语翻译信度的影响。

一、高校英语专业泛读课程教学特点及现状

当前在各类高校中,尤其是三本院校,教师出于对学生语言能力较差的角度出发,一般仅仅是采取以阅读为中心单一讲授的教学法,而且多数教师在泛读课程中也像精读课程以传授语言知识为主,即重点对课文中的词汇,语法和句法等进行讲解,学生的自主能动性和课堂参与力度接近为零,导致整个课程往往教师一人唱独角戏,整个课堂成一潭死水,学生也对这门逐渐丧失学习的兴趣和动力。此外,以武汉的高校为例,很多高校的泛读课程往往只设置两个学期,而且一般每学期也就32课时左右,由此可见,由于种种原因很多高校在英语专业课程设置的时候也对于这门课程也不够重视,存在课时偏少的问题。最后在很多高校这门课程的任课教师也多为刚参加工作的教学经验有待积累的年青教师。

二、微信与互动型教学在高校英语专业泛读课程中结合的可行性

微信(WeChat)作为当今在中国最为流行的实时通信软件,通过客户端提供好友分享文字与图片,并支持分组聊天和语音、视频对讲功能,广播(一对多)消息,照片/视频共享,位置共享,信息交流联系等服务,由于其功能强大,如今在中国已近超三亿人使用微信。此外,微信使用大部分功能都不会收取费用,这也使得微信像磁铁一般牢牢吸引了在校的高校大学生。

在这个平台上,作为传授者的教师和作为接受者的学生已经没有明显的区别,这为以教师为核心的讲授教学方式带来了转变的可能。此外,年轻的在校大学生更乐意接受时下流行的事物,微信在高校里面的覆盖率和使用频率也是往往超出我们这些任课教师的想象的。但是任何使用过微信的人也不难发现正是以为微信自身功能强大,将其引入教学时一定要师生构建学习共同体,通过学习共同体教师对学生的课程微信行为进行监督和规范。

三、微信与互动型教学在高校英语专业泛读课程中结合的具体应用

根根高校英语专业泛读课程存在的问题,根据,微信与互动型教学在高校英语专业泛读课程中结合的可行性,教师可以从以下三个方面在高校英语泛读课程中具体应用二者。

1.创建教师的个人微信平台。作为高校英语专业的任课教师,本人所在的高校在设置泛读课程时候也是每学期只有32节课程,教师可以讲与泛读课程相关的学习资料通过个人微信公共平台发给全班同学,也能以用微信平台布置课程作业并告知学生可以在相关界面上找到答案。由于可以群发文字、图片、语音、视频等类别的内容,学生在学习过程中的抵触情绪也会大大减少。公号主动向用户(学生)推送重要通知或趣味内容,一旦教师在个人平台上发布消息,在终端的学生应该是能同步接受到信息。可见,信息是被强制推送给加入教师平台的学生们,而且其接受率理论上也应该是100%。但是,如何保证以上假定的情况的实现,就需要教师在每次推送时候结合互动型教学法。互动新教学法中强调学习目标达到与否只有通过检测才知道,检测的方式可以是测试性评价(如检测题)也可以是非测试性评价。

2.发挥“朋友圈”魔力。根据英语专业教学大纲,泛读课旨在通过培养学生的阅读速度和阅读能力,从而提高学生的英语综合能力。教师可以结合朋友圈的功能,在泛读课程教学各个环节发挥其功能。课前,教师可以讲授课重点和授课形式发到朋友圈,让学生来讨论,针对学生的反应,及时调整自己的授课计划。课中,可以给出5到10分钟的时间,教师设置若干与刚刚学习的泛读课程相关启发性问题,学生可以先通过微信平台进行小组讨论再回答教师的问题。在此过程中,课堂知识容量大,共同参与性高,系统性较强,学生思维活跃,趣味性浓。课后,在朋友圈中征集学生对课堂教学的看法以及自己对课程知识掌握情况的反馈,询问学生对于课堂教学中存在的疑难点给也解答。由于朋友能保存所有资料,这样教师在解答某一个同学疑难问题时候,其他同学也能同步解疑。

3.“群聊”让学生亲师信道。美国心理学家罗杰斯说:“成功的教学依赖于一种真诚的理解和信任的师生关系,依赖于一种和谐安全的课堂气氛”。这是一种新的互动新教学理念,要求教师们应该融洽诚信的师生关系,实现教学相长。笔者自从事高校教学以来,一来发现高校课程教学中存在着师生情感关系冷漠的现象,而且这种现象今年也越来越严重;而来也看到学生往往是亲其师而信其道;所以任何课程在教授学生专业知识的时候也应该注意培养好师生情感。

四、结束语

互动型教学认为任何课堂教学都应该是一种教学相长动态过程,微信作为时下最为流行通讯交流平台,其作用不再仅仅是人与人之间的交流沟通。基于微信平台的互动型教学,和传统教学相比优势明显。在高校英语专业泛读课程中能极大提高学生对于此门课程的参与度,学生自主学习能力和学习兴趣得以激发,从而保证了课堂教学的高效性。在高校英语教学网络化不断普及和深入的大环境下,基于微信平台的互动型教学模式会应用到更多的课程中。

微信公众平台凭借着移动客户端的普及, 具有相当强的优势, 它是微信新加的服务插件之一, 公众平台自身的性质是一个运营推广工具, 但是当对微信公众平台进行二次开发以后, 它就能从一个运营推广工具转化为产品来提供服务。作为一种新兴的网络媒体, 它提供了一种新的信息传播方式, 由于其操作的便捷性, 人际交流的高时效性, 内容推送的丰富性, 消息推送的精准性, 已经成为高校师生主要沟通交流的主要工具。

本文旨在探讨建立基于微信平台的具有实时性、互动性的计算机专业课程的自主学习和自主教学新模式, 制作相应“微内容”, 通过微信平台推送给学生, 学生可以随着查看自己的任课教师或者教授相关课程的其他教师信息, 通过手机平台, 发送问题, 教师接收后可以及时进行解决。学生之间也可以互相解答问题, 或者结成兴趣小组, 对某些专业技术问题进行讨论, 提高专业能力。

1 系统整体设计方案

微信作为一款提供通信与社交服务的社会性软件, 为学生提供一个更加有针对性的移动学习平台。微信平台的学习资源也越来越多, 它充分满足学生的需求, 不再局限于学生时间、学习地点、学习伙伴, 更有利于体现学生者的自主性, 为学生知识的提高提供有力的条件。

基于微信的计算机专业学习通主要为使用者提供一种针对专业课程的学习体验, 学生使用该平台能够对课程所包括的所有知识点进行个性化学习, 学习由学生自己掌控, 使得学生个性化和多元化自主学习成为可能。学习模式包括自我学习、自我测试、提问互动几种方式, 同时老师可以通过对学习资源进行管理, 以及对学习过程中产生的学习问题进行解答以实现教学互动, 从而促进学生学习的积极性和主动性。

在充分学习和研究微信公众平台[1,2]开发的基础之上, 综合利用面向对象分析与设计思想[3,4]、Java Web[5]开发和数据库设[6]计思想, 从而开发了这个面向计算机专业学生的基于微信平台的学习通, 完成了从平台的建立、分析、设计等整套功能。采用模块化设计, 将所需要的功能进行分解、归纳和整理, 既考虑每部分功能的独立性, 又考虑信息的共享性。微信用户通过关注已配置公众号, 可实现微信端全部功能。用户可进行查询代课教师、查看课程、视频或图片学习和互动交互等操作, 其基于微信平台的计算机专业学生学习环境如图1所示。

2 系统开发与实现

2.1 主界面

微信端由用户导航系统、互动交互系统和信息发布系统三部分组成, 其中用户导航系统由三个模块构成:专业学习、在线查询和关于我们。用户可以根据自己的需求, 选择相应的功能, 系统总体结构图如图1所示。

2.2 用户导航模块

本模块主要包括专业学习、在线查询、关于我们三个页面。学生根据自己的需要, 选择不同的入口, 达到本次目的, 流程图如图2和图3。

实现过程:学生选择用户导航模块, 点击专业学习进入课程学习部分, 可通过选择不同的学习方式学习不同的知识点内容;点击在线查询, 可查询自己的代课教师的及其详细信息以及本专业的其他的教师及其详细信息;点击关于我们, 可查看开发本平台的作者信息。

2.3 互助交互模块

本模块主要是为学生和教师之间的交流提供一个平台。

实现过程:本模块主要是供师生之间沟通, 以便及时解决学生的疑问。

此模块主要是介绍一些校园中的其他信息。

实现过程:本模块主要是发布校园的一些信息, 让学生及时了解到学校发生的重大事件或趣事。

3 数据库设计

本系统数据库设计一共用到8张数据库表, 分别是管理员表 (Admin) 、书籍表 (Book) 、课程表 (Course) 、知识点表 (Knowlege_Item) 、图片学习资源表 (Mulmedia_Picture) 、学习视频表 (Multimedia) 、教师表 (Teacher) 、试题答案表 (Test_Answer) , 因篇幅有限, 本文以教师表和课程表为例, 如表1和表2所示。

4 结束语

通过对大学生的调研, 开发了此微信平台学习通系统, 该系统采用Java、Java Script、My SQL、CSS、Ajax、Jquery等技术开发。系统界面美观大方, 操作简单, 同时还添加了留言功能, 方便学生与线上老师之间的相互交流沟通, 及时解决遇到的各种问题。此外, 本系统上面的学习视频都是网上知名老师或者经验丰富的企业员工, 这使得计算机专业的学生能够更早的接触到企业的知识, 了解当前企业对人才的需求。
