1 课程设计理念与思路

《剑桥商务英语》课程包括理论教学和实践环节。理论教学的主要目的是让学生了解商务背景知识、熟悉商务活动, 培养学生在商务环境中运用英语进行各种商务活动的能力。实践环节主要指在校内的语音室及实训室进行的各项实训和实习项目, 其主要目的是通过实践使学生在真实的商务环境中掌握商务工作技能技巧、锻炼语言表达能力和工作实践能力。

2 课程的任务和基本要求

(1) 课程的任务

传统教学模式下的学生是课堂教学活动中被动接受知识的“容器”, “听”成为学生最重要的学习方法, 再加上大部分在校学生并没有任何的商务工作经验, 因此学生们学习起《剑桥商务英语》来总会觉得有一定的距离感, 这就要求我们商务英语教师必须适时做出改变, 改善传统的教学方式, 要充分发挥学生的主体性, 使学生真正成为学习的主人。因此我将商务英语大纲所要求学生必须掌握的知识点分门别类整理成四大商务情景, 在每一个商务情景中又都有特定的具体商务环境及对学生该阶段的能力要求, 即教师给学生在课堂上提供了一个明确、模拟真实的语言运用环境, 让学生在此情景中可以体会语言, 掌握语言, 运用语言。

(1) 商务情景一:公司与公司业务环境

1) 能力要求

(1) 了解并能介绍公司文化与经营活动, 具备一定的公司宣传与公共关系策略知识;

(2) 能独立进行产品介绍与演示并进行初步营销策划;

5 实施情景教学的要求

(1) 要有合理的授课安排

对于情景教学的安排要合理, 适当运用, 而且应提前讲授相关商务知识点及语言技巧, 使学生有足够的理论基础;另外情景设置不宜过多, 以一节课90分钟为例:一到两个情景的设置更适于学生理解与接受;

(2) 充分运用多媒体手段

教师每次的情景教学应该做到要求明确, 内容要求具体, 多利用多媒体设备给学生观摩真实的商务场景, 这样可以将商务场景与主题多样化, 增强教学的直观性、趣味性;

(3) 建立合理的考核机制

改变单一的期中期未考试方式, 增强对学生应用能力的测试。高职高专教育尤其要重视对学生的技能训练和能力培养。根据教学实践和考核改革的需要, 我们可以拟定如下考核方案:商务英语课程总评成绩=平时成绩 (50%) +口试成绩 (20%) +期未成绩 (30%)

1) 平时成绩的比重加大。有助于激励学生在平时多下功夫, 教师可以通过平时的课堂小测验、作业、对话、演讲、小组讨论等多种形式和多种内容的活动, 将考核贯穿于教学过程当中, 时时有考核, 全面考查每个学生方方面面的能力。

2) 口试考试。口语是商务英语最基本的能力, 让学生从教材中任意选择情景进行对话或演讲, 教师从对话或演讲的立意、条理、语音语调等各方面综合考查。

3) 期末考试。可采用口试和笔试相结合的方式, 考试内容应具有开放性。笔试着重考查学生的知识水平及应用文写作能力;口试则可以以小组的形式进行, 让学生通过对话、情景模拟或短剧的形式, 充分展现口语表达能力。

6 单元设计实例 (商务情景:订货)

例如:情景设置中可将教室分为Reception, (接待区) 、Sales (销售区) 、Ordering (订单区) 等几个功能区, 再把学生分配到各个区域“上岗”, 通过这种有买有卖的角色扮演练习, 学生在与买方或卖方进行“商务活动”的过程中会自然而然地结合以往所学相关知识如“Product Description” (产品描述) 和“Business Negociation” (商务谈判) 与对方进行交流, 同时也不可避免地在该商务情景中体会新知识点如“inquiry” (询盘) 、“offer” (报盘) 、“counter offer” (还盘) 的实际应用技巧。

2) 时间分配:50分钟

(4) 步骤四:总结与点评

1) 学生总结此次“实践”成果与感想, 提出在应用过程中欠缺环节;

2) 教师有针对性地进行点评与知识补漏与汇总

实践证明, 采取这种以“教师为主导, 学生为主体”的模拟情景课堂教学模式, 不但能培养学生的专业语言能力, 还能开拓其商务思维。“模拟情景”教学模式是对传统商务英语教学模式的一种创新, 它在传统教学模式的基础上加入了真实的商务场景模拟, 吸收了实例教学方法, 逼真地模拟各个商务真实场景, 让学习者身处其中。通过亲身实践, 深入记忆和熟练操作各个环节, 使得以英语语言交际为媒介的商务流程贯穿于教学活动的始终。这样无疑会加深学生们对这些所学理论知识在实际商务环境中应用的理解与运用, 并且创造商务语言环境和相应的课堂气氛, 也可以激发学生的学习兴趣和动力, 这种教学方法的改进在教学实践中取得了很好的教学效果。

歌唱艺术是一种用歌唱来表达、抒发、情感交流的最直接的艺术,在人类发展史上很早就出现了用歌唱来传递信息、表达情感的行为,发展至今仍受到全世界人们的喜爱,所以这是一个不分年龄、不分种族、不分信仰的艺术。歌唱艺术对少儿发展有着极大的影响,因为他们喜欢借唱歌来表现自己的喜乐。而在素质教育的今天,少儿歌唱教育逐步得到大家的认可,近几年中国音乐家协会推出了少儿歌唱考级,也指定了《全国少儿歌唱考级歌曲集》为考级教材,使得少儿歌唱教育在全国发展更快、更规范。

在我国,少儿歌唱的教学领域还不是很成熟,没有一套固定的教学方法论。如何更有效、更系统的进行少儿歌唱教学;如何使学生在考级中取得好的成绩......这些问题,我想微谈我的以下个人观点:

一、课前准备

作为少儿歌唱教学的教师,应要充分了解7至12岁的少儿心理、生理的发展情况,才能使自己的教学符合少年儿童的心理、生理发展规律,让教学工作顺利开展,并做到学生喜欢、家长满意。

1、少儿的心理

7至12岁儿童的心理发展飞快,由于学习环境的改变,他们的学习兴趣方向开始分化,表现在男孩子多喜欢运动类游戏,女孩子喜欢安静的游戏,这些兴趣差异与家庭因素、社会因素等等相关。所以通过学习歌唱的男女生报名情况来看,有些地方是1∶5的比例,有些地方甚至一个男生也没有,这和学生的心理发展是有联系的。相较于幼儿时期,少儿时期的学生在学习方面主动性、自觉性有了提高,并且喜欢竞争和比较。抓住这一特点,在声乐教学中可以采用小班制教学:3~5人一个班。这样更能刺激他们相互学习相互竞争,在练气、练声中就不会觉得索然无味,在漫长的学习过程中也不会出现孤独感。少儿时期的想象力是其他时期无法比拟的,所以在歌唱教学中可以加以利用,多用比喻的方法让学生感受那些歌唱中看不见的气息或者声音位置等。但是少儿时期也有可逆性,所以教师在语言上、行为上不要过激。可以采取启发式教育,创造轻松、愉快的课堂氛围,让孩子从被动学习变成主动学习。

2、少儿时期的声音特点

7至12岁的少儿是童声中最精华的部分,它透亮、清澈、纯净,是发自童心的真声,自然音域大约在十度左右。由于声带等发声器官还未发育完全,不科学的发音会使得嗓子嘶哑,声带充血、水肿等问题,严重的会导致失声。所以在歌唱学习中应注意系统性、科学性。

3、发声器官的保健

学习唱歌,发声器官就是一件“乐器”,所以保护它非常重要。在我们南方地区气候炎热,咽喉部位容易上火,所以教师要提醒家长,平时给孩子多喝水,多吃清淡的瓜果蔬菜。提醒孩子平时不要大声叫喊,而使嗓子太过疲惫。在上课前多注意休息,嗓子才会处于最佳状态。

二、教学

给孩子树立一个唱歌的正确姿态是至关重要的。现如今7到12岁的孩子多数因为各种环境因素、家庭因素,会容易导致纪律性不强、怕苦怕累的现象,形体上出现弯腰、驼背、低头等不良体态。在日常生活中这些又常常被孩子自身和家长集体忽视,因而养成了错误的习惯。所以教师往往要在第一堂课,就要让孩子彻头彻尾的摒弃从前的不良习惯,树立正确唱歌姿态的概念,这样才有利于教学工作深入展开。

唱歌基本姿态通常分为:站姿和坐姿。在成人歌唱里面通常只强调站姿,而少儿歌唱有所不同,它的坐姿培养和站姿培养一样重要,原因是之前所提的现如今孩子怕吃苦的现象。在课堂上对学生坐姿培养的方法可以是:准备硬木凳子一张,最好是无靠背的,学生落座时只允许坐凳子的前三分之一面积。腰背挺直,头颈与腰背垂直一线,两脚自然分开,弯曲落地。如需看歌谱时,应左手拿谱,右手划拍。站姿培养的难度多大于坐姿,因为歌唱的正确站姿为的就是在唱歌时保持一种积极的状态,而学生没有受训时大多是懒散的状态。[1]因此在课堂上,我们可以先不去说站姿应该如何,而是让学生自己去和墙壁成为“好朋友”,将身体背靠背紧贴于墙上站一会儿,或者找个空地躺一会儿,这个过程孩子会觉得很有趣,很容易就达到了腰背挺直,双臂自然下垂的教学目的。这个体验后,就给学生总结唱歌时的正确站姿是:双脚自然分开,不能超过肩膀的宽度,在能站稳之余重心略前,双腿直立,腰背挺直,双臂自然垂直,沉肩,头颈与腰背垂直一线,额头稍向前顶,两眼平视远方,面部肌肉放松,整体感觉情绪积极,精神饱满为佳。讲解过程中,还可以用手拍背,扶正头部等等帮助学生找到正确的姿态并掌握要领。

初学者对正确的姿态往往只能保持很短的时间,就又会恢复弯腰驼背的原样,或者年龄小的学生会觉得这样的站姿或坐姿很累,会偷懒抱怨。这时我们应该付出耐心,以鼓励为主,站累了可以允许使用正确的坐姿坐着唱,如果坐着也坚持不下去了,可以允许休息一会,切不可为了让孩子唱歌而纵容唱歌时使用不良姿态,休息时就不唱,唱歌时就要严格使用正确的姿态,长此以往会让学生习惯于只要一唱歌,就自然使用正确的姿态了。

三、关于考级

少儿歌唱考级的准备过程,学生要严格参考考级的考试内容及要求。在选曲方面,考生必须在《全国少儿歌唱考级歌曲集》相应级别的曲目内,选择“必唱歌曲”和“选唱歌曲”各一首参加考试。鉴于中国音协组委会鼓励两首都演唱“必唱歌曲”的考生,我们给学生选曲的时候尽量两首都演唱“必唱歌曲”。“必唱歌曲”一般比“选唱歌曲”难度大一点,且多是新歌,学生就要多花点功夫练习。

针对不同的学生特点,选曲也要因人而异。例如学生A她的音色干净,长音气息足,开口音好,但短音爆发力欠缺。那么在3级曲目中,我们可以给她挑选《最美的画》,这首歌比较抒情,长音多,“妈、画”这样的开口音也很多,演唱中比较能体现出她的长处。而学生B则不同,她的音色属于中声区比较扎实,节奏感很强。在4级歌曲中就可以给她选择《司马光砸缸》,这首歌伴奏丰富,节奏欢快,都是短跳音居多,很适合她演唱。学生C表现欲极强,高音透亮,气息足。所以在4级中可以给她唱《游子吟》,这首歌的难度在4级里面是挺高的,所以在选择的时候我们要考虑到孩子平时对于歌曲的处理是否能做到感情投入的要求,能否具备驾驭这首歌曲的能力,而不是一味地急于求成。总之,选曲是考试通过的关键一步,教师在给学生选曲时不能一昧由着学生的喜好来选,应该理性分析学生的特质,引导学生喜爱老师所选择的歌曲。

四、结语

歌唱是一门具有极大魅力的综合艺术,学生的学习与老师的讲授都是一种在享受这门艺术的过程。让学生感受唱歌的美好,乐在其中,将心中所愿通过歌声来表达出来,是每一个少儿歌唱教师的愿望。[2]在素质教育飞速发展的今天,如何将少儿歌唱教学方法统一化、规范化,值得我们每一个教师不断实践探究。

1.老师告诉小朋友:There are many animals ,do you know them? 今天来了很多小动物,看看大家都认识谁呢?拿出小动物的手偶,分别有sheep dog cow goat,利用句型What’s this 来练习以前在卓乐一二级学过的这些动物单词。2.老师拿出小羊的面具戴上,接着把小狗的手偶戴在手上,小牛,小马和小羊的面具分别给表现好的小朋友戴上,请他们扮演这些小动物。小羊说道:where is my mother ? I can’t find my mother.。然后对着手上的小狗问道:Are you my mother?请所以的小朋友一起问小狗,Are you my mother?手偶小狗摇头说道:No, I am not.,教读此句型。

3.然后小羊走到戴着小牛面具的小朋友面前问道:Are you my mother?小牛同样回答:No ,I am not.接着分别问过小马和山羊,重复练习Are you my mother?和No ,I am not.句型。

4.最后老师拿出绵羊妈妈的手偶戴上,小绵羊终于找到了自己的妈妈,教读句型:Yes ,dear,come here ,my child.所以小朋友高兴的小羊一起欢呼。

5.游戏:角色扮演,将面具分发给小朋友请他们自己来找妈妈,可以将小羊找妈妈换成小狗找妈妈或者其他任一一种动物。

3.“Now, let’s play a game.”老师发出指令,如:stand up,引导小朋友做出相应的动作,并将小贴片奖给小朋友作为鼓励:“You are very good.This sticker is for you.”

2.老师站在圈中,让小朋友一起听指令做动作:“OK, now listen to me: foot up, foot down…”如果有的小朋友不能理解指令,不能及时做出反应,老师可以和小朋友一起做动作,反复几次后再让小朋友自己做。

3.老师请一位小朋友站在圈中发指令,引导其他小朋友一起听指令做动作:“Who wants to stand here? Jack, come on.Let’s listen to Jack and do the exercises.”

教学延伸:1.老师可以将课堂所学知识,在户外活动游戏时,引导小朋友边游戏边复习。
