化学院在广东省高校第四届化学化工实验技能大赛获佳绩

化学院在广东省高校第四届化学化工实验技能大赛中荣获佳绩我校获集体奖二等奖，李志丹等三位同学分获特等奖、二等奖

11月11日，由广东省教育厅高等教育处、广东省化工学会高校化学化工专业委员会主办、东莞理工学院承办的“广东省高校第四届化学化工实验技能大赛”圆满地落下了帷幕。我校继往届成功举办第三届化学化工实验技能大赛并获得可喜成绩之后又获佳绩。其中，我校获集体奖二等奖;杜建中教授、周小松博士分别获大赛“优秀指导老师”称号;李志丹同学获特等奖，武胜男、禤金萍同学分别获二等奖。

本次大赛规模大、档次高。来自汕头大学、华南农业大学、广州大学等22所高校的67名选手参加了比赛。经过激烈角逐，共产生11个集体奖，67项个人奖。化学院领导老师等十分重视此次大赛，在大赛举办前早早就着手准备。通过层层选拔，挑选出了李志丹等三位同学参加了本次大赛，并严格要求参赛选手不断提高实验操作水平，在实验中沉着应对、提升自我。化学院还组织了杜建中、周小松等专业教师在课余时间对参赛选手进行强化训练，精心抓好每一个实验操作环节。在东莞理工举行大赛期间，化学院苗碗根副院长更是作为专家组成员，亲临大赛现场，关注并指导化学化工实验技能大赛的进展。

据悉，化学化工实验技能大赛重在培养学生动手操作实验能力，参赛对象为广东省内普通高等学校、大专院校学习化学、化工及相关专业的在校大学生。大赛从东莞理工学院第一届、韩山师院第二届、湛江师范学院第三届，到本届第四届，在大赛筹备、选题、比赛方式、评分规则等方面都有了很大的提升。大赛已成为我省高校大学生每年一度引人注目的重要学科活动。

广东警官学院的前身是建立于1949年11月的广东省公安干部学校，五十多年来，学院经历了政法干部培训，政法中专、大专，公安专科、本科教育的历程，目前是华南地区第一所也是唯一的公安本科院校。五十多年来为社会输送了十多万政法类专门人才，被誉为“南粤警官摇篮”。广东警学院办学特色有浓厚的岭南文化作背景。敢为人先，是岭南文化、广东文化的精华。

一、服务公安队伍建设的办学理念服务公安队伍建设的办学理念，始于建校初期的广东公安干部学校，从单一的公安政法干警培训教育，到本科公安教育的办学历程，办学理念成为厚实的历史沉淀、理性的认识升华、行动的理论指南。五十多年来培养了大批优秀、合格的高级公安专门人才，成为华南地区培养新警的摇篮，毕业生遍布粤琼桂，大多成为公安机关的骨干队伍，不少成为公安机关的各级领导干部;有的成长为公安英模，有的走出国门为维护和平作出了贡献。此外，学院十分注重在职民警培训，是学院的重要职责之一。尤其是近年来，根据公安部加强公安队伍正规建设的要求，充分发挥学院作为大练兵基地的作用，近两年培训规模都在7000人次以上，民警培训教育质量不断提高，为广东公安队伍建设作出了积极的贡献。

二、形成本科公安教育专业体系构建起服务公安工作和队伍建设的专业体系，凸现公安特色和广东特色，以法学为基础，以经济犯罪侦查、禁毒、警务战术与指挥等专业为特色，重点发展治安学、侦查学、刑事科学技术、法学等专业，并带动和促进其它专业的发展。目前开设侦查学、治安学、经济犯罪侦查、刑事科学技术、法学、行政管理、计算机科学与技术等7个本科专业。

三、强调“厚基础、宽口径、强技能”的教学内容体系本科公安专门人才的“厚基础”，强调人品德行基础、专业理论知识基础、人文社科基础，从而构成道德素质、科学文化素质和身心素质协调发展的成才基础。在专业教育上强调“宽口径”，既适应公安工作、又适应社会工作;并具有较强的创新意识和能力，强健的体魄体力、良好的心理素质。按照以上要求，建设教学内容体系，共开设课程270多门，本科设刑事侦查、经济犯罪侦查、刑事技术、治安管理、计算机科学与技

术、行政管理、法学7个专业;专科设刑事侦查、刑事技术、治安管理、法定、文秘、英语6个专业。评出校级重点课程16门、校级精品课程6门;省级重点课程4门、省级精品课程3门;部级精品课程1门。此外，围绕教学内容体系，建设了DNA实验室、司法心理测试实验室和物证司法鉴定中心等12类实验室。师资队伍与办学规模学院有专任教师297人，其中教授26人、副教授87人，两者占教师总数的38%。博士后2人、博士硕士139人，占教师总数的46.8%。广东省高校“千百十”工程培养对象省级1人，校级11人;校内优秀中青年学术骨干4人，学科带头人5人。在全省公安机关业务骨干中，选拔76名学历层次高、实践经验丰富、能善于理论联系实际的教官，到学校任教。目前在校生7078人，其中本科生3614人、专科生3464人;学生来自广东、广西、海南、河南、湖北、湖南、江西、福建、四川、贵州等地区。学院开办本、专科业余函授教育，现有专科、“专升本”业余和函授学生458人。办学条件学院校舍总面积23.79万平方米，教学科研仪器设备价值2810万元，馆藏图书数据55.17万册。现有运动场、足球场、篮球场、排球场、训练馆、搏击馆、射击场、警察战术训练大楼等训练场馆，可以满足教学及培训需要。主校区----嘉禾校区，目前已完成运动场整体改造、警察战术训练大楼、射击场、学生宿舍、学生食堂、新教学楼等11项工程及周边附属设施，建筑面积共7.5万平方米，警体训练区、学生生活区基本建成。图书馆(20281平方米)、游泳馆(5407平方米)正在建设中。办学成果学院设公安学、法学研究所。广东省警察学会公安基础理论专业委员会、广东省心理学会法制心理专业委员会(均为省二级学会)挂靠我院。学报《政法学刊》是全国优秀社科学报、中国人文社科学报核心期刊。近年来，学院不断加强科研工作，出版著作90多部，教材86种，其中7种教材分获公安部优秀教材
