《义务教育英语课程标准 (2011) 》对初中生写作的要求是: (1) 能根据写作要求, 收集、准备素材; (2) 能独立起草短文、短信等, 并在教师的指导下进行修改; (3) 能使用常见的连接词表示顺序和逻辑关系; (4) 能简单描述人物或事件; (5) 能根据图表或表格写出简单的段落或操作说明。

英语新课标明确提出, 写作主要是让学生运用所学语言知识与技能, 以书面形式完成沟通、再现生活经历, 描述周围事物、发表意见和观点。写作是语言输出的重要途径, 能比较客观地反映学生认知、思考以及文字运用等综合语言运用的能力。但是, 在课堂教学中, 许多老师注重听、说、读的训练, 对于写作相对不青睐, 因为这一板块的教学既耗时, 学生提高起来又缓慢。可是在初中毕业测试中, 写作的分值所占比重较大。面对这种情况, 大部分老师建议学生购买英语作文书, 但不是借鉴别人的写作方法, 而是死记硬背作文。本人的意图是:通过自己平时作文教学的一些探讨, 以及对英语三维教学法的学习, 结合国培学习的理念, 在初中英语作文教学, 尤其是在话题作文教学上做些初探。

创新教案:

教学活动设计:以“My friend”为话题写一篇作文。

课时安排:一课时。

写作是一个如何寻找最有效的语言进行思想感情交流的过程, 是一个循环复杂的心理认知过程。面对英语写作, 大部分学生感觉词汇知识贫乏, 无法将相关联的词汇组织到一起。在本堂课中, 我和学生一起思考, 分析话题, 将与话题有联系的词汇有效划分成主题语块。这样不仅学生作文思路明确, 有话可写, 并且能对同类词汇进行有效复习巩固, 可谓一举多得。平常教学中如果能一直坚持这样的写作训练, 学生不但对同类词汇理解记忆更准确、全面、深刻, 还能够降低写作难度, 消除学生的畏难情绪, 进而引导学生喜欢英语写作, 做到综合技能的全面提高。

教学后记:

本次作文, 学生都觉得较轻松。有些同学写了一百多个单词, 大部分同学完成质量较高, 即使程度差的同学也写了三四十个单词。每篇作文我都进行了仔细批阅。我觉得通过本次作文学生在给我传递一个信息:老师, 英语写作并不是很可怕。

英语写作是对学生语言运用能力、语法运用能力、英语知识的书面表达能力的一个综合考核,属于一种高度复杂的思维过程,是初中英语教学的重要模块。英语写作能力是基于基础知识的,但是英语写作能力的提高还要经过有计划、有目的、有策略的训练。

英语新课标对初中英语教学提出了新的任务,以培养学生英语学习兴趣和积极性,树立自信心、培养良好的学习习惯为主,发展学生的自主学习能力和合作意识,使学生对英语的听说读写具有一定的应用能力。英语写作是学生的知识运用和人际交流的一种重要手段,也是提高学生语言能力和思维能力的有效途径。写作水平的提高主要是在教师的指导下,学生积极主动地参与下进行的。

一、英语写作教学的现在和存在问题。

在对初中生英语写作方面的调查中发现,大多数的学生尤其是农村学生对于英语写作有着畏惧心理和回避心理。其原因在于学生对基础知识掌握不是非常牢固,加上没有经过正规系统的训练,以至于学生在写作的时候感觉无话可说,单词、语法错误较多,加上没有缺乏指导纠正,就造成学生英语写作能力低下。在教师方面,好多教师受教学成绩影响,追求进度,对于英语写作教学重视程度不够,英语写作教学方法单一,缺乏同事间的交流探讨。对于写作素材提供不够广泛,缺乏写作过程的指导,而只重视写作作品的纠正。

二、对于英语测试试卷写作部分得分的调查结果。

从调查结果来看,在英语测试中,英语写作部分得分较低,一份20分的英语写作题,得分在12分以下的占大部分。只有四分之一的同学能够得到及格分,至于能够得到优秀分或者写作精彩的作文少之又少。学生对作文写作畏惧,不能够正确地运用英语语法、词汇,整篇文章布局和衔接不好。因此,对于学生英语单元写作技巧指导是重要的一个环节。

三、初中英语单元话题作文有效教学策略研究

(一)用智力激励法指导学生写作。

智力激励法是美国提出的一种新颖课堂活动方式,它以提高学生思维活跃程度,打破常规思维方式,激发学生创造性为基础的教学方式。这种方法适合单元作文写作,通常以某个话题为起点,引导学生开拓思路,挖掘各种可以使用的信息进行写作。

(二)智力激励法在英语写作课堂教学中的应用。

在学生的培养过程中,智力和创造力的培养是教学的重点,而他们的关键就是培养学生的思维能力。英语是一门语言性学习,发散思维的培养有助于学生创造能力的培养,有助于学生思维的拓展,想象能力的提高。也有助于提高学生的参与意识和学习策略。在英语写作教学中,智力激励法也有着重要的意义。

如在初中英语二年级第一单元Will people have robots?话题作文中,教师提出“预测未来The life in the future ”主题,学生根据这一主题进行小组讨论。对于自己想想中的美好未来进行展望,这样充分调动了学生的参与积极性,引导学生深入主题,主动探究。在写作之前,教师做好前期工作,如对本单元词语、语法进行复习总结。用过多媒体展示先进生活方式和工作方式,通过提问、游戏等方式引导学生讨论交流。这样的贴近生活的情景创设,更加吸引了学生的创作欲望,能够积极主动地进入到书面表达状态,这也是知识的内化和能力形成的过程。

(1)热身运动。可以通过歌曲和游戏引入,请同学听歌曲“Tomorrow will be better”。

(2)通过多媒体展示成功人士的照片,提问引导学生进入对未来的展望。

四、在写作教学中采用以激励为主的评价机制。

作文的写作不仅是学生知识运用能力提高的有效手段,在此过程中也有助于学社情感、意志、性格的培养。所以,在英语单元作文的写作过程中,教师不仅仅要重视学生写作技巧的指导,也要重视写完以后,作文的评价和范文展示工作。

在通常的作文批阅中,教师的批阅是主要形式。学生写完作文以后,教师一个人对全班同学的作品进行批阅。这就不能充分体现“教师为主导,学生为主体”的教学理念。那么,我们可以采用学生自评、学生互评、教师评价相结合的评价方法。让学生更多地参与到相互交流的环节当中,在自评、互评的过程中取长补短,培养自己的读者意识。

(1)教师对于学生作品当中优秀句子进行点评。对学生作品中的亮点划线,写下鼓励性评语,这样能够有效点燃学生的写作热情。

(2)激励学生“自悟”能力,培养“自能”能力。在评价过程中,让学生进行互评,提出其他同学的亮点和不足之处。教师也要在学生的语言运用和内容结构上提出改进意见,要求学生进行集体讨论。

(3)评改的着眼点随着学生知识和能力的提高而转移。

在写作训练初期,可以要求低一点,简单要求书写规范、单词拼写准确、句型句法恰当。但是随着学生能力的提高,我们对学生的写作要求进一步提高。要求学生书写要符合英语表达习惯,会准确选择相近句型。
