一、计划性交互式形式教学

计划性交互式形式教学法的基础是二语习得研究者提出的交互式形式教学法即“focus on form”。研究者对“focus on”的定义是:在完全以交际或意义为主的课堂教学中, 当学生对某种语言形式出现理解或表达上的困难时, 及时将学生的注意力有针对性地引到该语言形式上来。计划性交互式形式教学则是教师根据教学目标, 课前确定要注意的语言形式, 并以此为根据设计教学任务。由此可见, 这种教学方法将英语语法、语言理解和语言应用三者有效结合, 将语法教学融入语言情景和任务学习中, 给我们的高中英语语法教学带来了新活力。

二、计划性交互式教学法在高中英语语法教学中的应用

1. 根据语法教学目标设计和呈现相应的交际任务

这是实施计划性交互式形式教学的前提和关键。一般来说, 与语法相关的交际任务有语法自然型任务、语法可用型任务和语法必用型任务三种。这三种交际任务中必用型是最理想的, 所设计的交际任务一般是真实语料, 必须用某个语法形式才能完成, 这样能够引起学生的注意和重视, 教师的指导也具有较强的针对性。例如, 在学习“虚拟语气在条件从句中的用法”时, 可以给学生呈现下面一首诗歌:

2. 引导学生发现性学习, 辨认出要学习的语法结构

教师要引导学生从所给的交际任务中辨认出要学习的语法结构, 并对其特点进行初步归纳。还是以上面所说诗歌为例, 教师在呈现诗歌之后, 学生很容易找到通篇存在的“sb.would have done, if sb.had done”句式, 并很轻松地说出这是if引导的条件从句, 并能说出条件从句的特点。此时, 教师要适时引导, 在这些条件句中, 为什么要用分词形式?不用分词形式, 如“I it doesn’t rain tomorrow, we will go to the park.”有什么不同?可以让学生进行猜想, 进一步设疑, 激发学生学习兴趣。

3. 语法知识的显性教学

在学生有强烈的求知欲后, 教师要从呈现语言情景转向解释和说明语法知识。还是上例, 可以这样讲解和总结:条件句有两类, 一类是真实条件句, 一类是虚拟条件句。如果假设的情况是有可能发生的, 就是真实条件句, 谓语用陈述语气, 如刚才提问中举的例子。如果假设的情况是过去或现在都不存在的, 或将来不大可能发生的, 则是虚拟条件句。

在含有虚拟条件句的复合句中, 主句和从句的谓语都要用虚拟语气。诗歌中所说与过去事实相反, 从句和主句的动词形式:从句:had+过去分词;主句:would/should/could/might+have+过去分词。拓展开去, 如果陈述实践与现在事实相反, 从句:动词的过去式 (be的过去式一般用were) ;主句:would/should/could/might+动词原形。如果与将来事实相反, 从句:动词过去式, should+动词原形, were to+动词原形;主句:would/should/could/might+动词原形。

4. 设计所学语法结构的交际情景进行练习与巩固

在讲解完语法知识后, 教师应组织学生围绕所学语法结构进行交际训练, 以巩固所学, 并在练习中给学生必要的指导和帮助。比如在讲解“must”表“推测”这一词义用法后, 要求学生分组根据以下情景展开讨论:上课时, 我们听到隔壁班的声音很大, 不时还传出笑声, 你们猜猜他们班在干什么。如:The students must be doing a play, because their class often hold activities…要注意:学生讨论时, 教师应在教室里来回走动, 并适时参与其中, 对需要帮助的学生给予支持。在讨论过后, 还应随即抽出几组让其展示讨论结果, 并进行及时反馈, 并对一节课所学语法知识进行归纳和总结。
