一、调查结果与分析

(一) 就业状况

1) 对目前工作是否满意。33%的毕业生表示对目前的工作非常满意, 61%的毕业生表示不满意, 6%的人选择无所谓。按照选择人数多少排列, 对工作满意的原因依次为发展空间大、受领导赏识、薪水高、和同事相处融洽。对工作不满意的原因依次为发展空间小、薪水低、不受领导赏识、和同事相处不融洽。2) 影响就业的最主要因素是什么。28%的毕业生认为阻碍就业的最主要因素是学识能力不足, 31%认为是缺乏实践经验, 21%认为是社会关系欠缺, 10%认为是求职方法技巧欠缺, 6%认为是行业知识欠缺, 4%选择其他。31%的毕业生认为对就业帮助最大的因素是学识能力, 36%认为是实践经验, 11%认为是求职技巧, 16%认为是社会关系, 6%认为是行业知识。3) 影响职业发展的最主要因素是什么。38%的毕业生认为阻碍职业发展的最主要因素是英语知识和能力, 27%认为是相关行业知识和经验, 18%认为是领导的赏识, 12%认为是人际关系网络, 6%认为是学历。28%的毕业生认为对其职业发展帮助最大的因素是英语知识和能力, 26%认为是相关行业知识和经验, 25%认为是领导的赏识, 17%认为是人际关系网络, 4%认为是学历。

(二) 英语使用情况

1) 工作中是否会用到大学期间所学习的英语知识。65%的毕业生表示经常用到, 17%表示偶尔用到, 18表示完全用不到。通过访谈, 笔者了解到一些毕业生在工作中完全用不到英语知识是因为他们所从事的工作与英语没有关系。46%的毕业生表示大学期间所学习的英语知识对工作有很大帮助, 39%表示有一些帮助, 15%表示几乎没有帮助。2) 英语知识和能力是否能够胜任工作需要。仅有32%的毕业生认为他们的英语知识和能力能够胜任目前工作的需要, 剩余68%的毕业生认为不能胜任。64%的毕业生表示单位的领导和同事认可他们的英语知识和能力, 其他人表示不认可。通过访谈笔者了解到, 很多毕业生需要边工作边学习, 在校期间所学知识远远不能满足工作需求。3) 工作过程中最常用到哪项英语基本技能。按照选择人数多少排列, 工作中最常用到的英语基本技能依次为听说、译、读、写。47%的毕业生表示他们的听说技能仍需提高, 31%认为翻译技能需提高, 12%认为阅读技能需提高, 10%认为写作技能需提高。4) 工作中是否经常用到职业英语知识。59%的毕业生表示他们在工作中经常用到职业英语知识, 20%表示偶尔用到, 21%表示完全用不到。通过访谈笔者了解到一些毕业生用不到职业英语知识是因为他们的职业与英语无关。仅有18%的毕业生表示他们的职业英语知识是在校期间所学, 其余都表示是在工作过程中所学。

(三) 教学评价

1. 对所毕业院校的英语专业教学是否满意?

仅有39%的毕业生表示对所毕业院校的英语专业教学满意, 其余的人选择不满意。按选择人数多少排列, 不满意的原因依次为教学内容脱离现实、教学方法陈旧、实训机会太少、课程设置不合理、教师不认真负责、教学硬件设施落后。满意的原因依次为教师认真负责、教学内容符合现实需要、教学方法新颖、课程设置合理、实训机会多。

2. 所毕业院校的英语专业课教学是否符合用人单位需求?

42%的毕业生认为所毕业院校的英语专业课教学符合用人单位需求, 其余的人认为不符合。34%的毕业生认为所毕业院校的英语专业教师按照学生的职业需求和用人单位需求开展课堂教学, 其他人认为没有按照。

3. 在大学就读期间是否有必要学习职业英语知识?

67%的毕业生认为在大学就读期间有必要学习职业英语知识, 其余的人认为没有必要。通过访谈, 笔者了解到认为没有必要学习职业英语知识的毕业生有一部分从事的工作与英语无关, 还有一些人认为工作之后再学习也可以。

三、结论及建议

依据问卷和访谈分析结果, 可以得出以下两个结论:

(一) 英语知识和能力是影响英语专业毕业生就业和职业发展的关键因素

英语知识和能力欠缺是阻碍英语专业毕业生就业和职业发展的主要因素, 但同时也是帮助他们就业和职业发展的主要因素。大部分毕业生在工作过程中经常会用到在校期间所学习的英语知识, 但大部分毕业生表示他们的英语知识和能力不能满足工作的需求。这说明英语专业在校生需要高度重视英语专业知识的学习和英语各项基本技能的提升, 这样才能够为将来就业和职业发展打下良好的基础。

(二) 英语专业毕业生的就业, 尤其是职业发展需要职业英语知识

调查结果显示, 缺乏实际工作经验是阻碍英语专业学生就业的主要因素。大部分毕业生在工作过程中经常用到职业英语知识, 多数毕业生也认为英语专业学生在校期间有必要学习职业英语知识, 高职院校英语专业教学不太符合用人单位的需求。这表明高职院校英语专业应重视职业英语教学, 应从教学内容、教学方法、教学评价等方面着手开展职业英语教学模式, 这样才能够真正培养出符合社会和用人单位需求的应用型英语人才。

摘要:本文以部分河北外国语职业学院英语专业毕业生为调查对象, 对河北省高职院校英语专业毕业生的职业需求进行分析, 并在此基础上得出结论、提出建议, 旨在探索英语教学改革新途径, 令英语人才培养满足就业市场需求。

一、明确指导思想, 制定切实方案

平时的学习是搞好中考复习的基础, 这两个教学过程是密不可分的。如果在复习过程中我们抛开教科书, 孤立地复习处理本册书中的单词和语法等内容, 就把中考复习和平时教学之间的联系割断了, 因此, 就难以实现我们的复习工作目标;如果我们仍死抠书本去复习, 又会导致学生的厌学情绪。

第一, 对照课本, 逐项梳理知识点。

这一过程主要是对照课本, 逐项梳理知识点, 夯实理论基础。目标是把教材中的知识点系统化条理化。事先, 教师要准确把握新课标和教材对基础知识提出的要求。通过复习基础知识, 使学生能够对初中阶段所讲的基础知识、基本技能和方法等做到系统掌握, 从而形成稳定的知识框架和清晰的知识网络, 把所学知识构建成一个完整的体系。这一过程的复习时间约占总复习的1/2或更长的时间。

这里的复习工作要从“双基”切入, 围绕知识点进行一个单元一个单元的复习, 并结合学生的实际情况, 反复巩固基础知识。在此基础上, 要注重学生阅读、理解、分析和解决问题能力的培养, 争取把教材知识让学生全部消化吸收。在这里, 要集中做到“全面、深刻、灵活”:

所谓“深刻”, 就是让学生通过复习能够独立完成一些有较大难度的习题, 然后, 教师在根据学生的完成情况进行具体的讲评和分析, 从而进一步提高学生运用英语的能力。

所谓“灵活”, 就是通过复习, 激活、再现以前所学知识, 使学生对所学知识能够做到理解掌握、灵活运用。

第二, 把握脉络, 系统归纳要领。

这个过程是一个巩固学生掌握基础知识和基本能力阶段。要紧扣教材, 以中考题和模拟题为主来组织复习资料, 查漏补缺, 强化训练。同时, 把一些必备的应试技巧和方法教给学生, 使他们能够有信心地应对中考。

第三, 针对要领, 搞好专题复习。

这一过程主要是针对上一过程中暴露出来的问题, 有针对性地进行专题复习, 逐个突破平时出现的错误和问题, 从而对各部分知识进行系统归纳, 使之成为一个完整体系。

第四, 模拟中考, 训练应战能力。

这一过程是复习的最后阶段, 应该让学生尽量领略中考试题, 给学生一个适应中考的过程, 避免学生害怕中考, 以提高最后冲刺的效果。

二、研究中考试题, 搜集中考信息

首先, 认真研究近三年河北省统考, 尤其是今年的中考考试说明, 熟悉掌握中考有关规定和要求, 更要把握考试的导向、考试时间、考试分值和题型等。

三、选好复习资料, 找准切入之点

要提高学生应考技能, 就必须让学生做大量试题并不断总结规律才能实现。俗话说:“读书百遍, 其义自见”。作为教师, 我们有必要为学生精心选择一定的复习资料。在使用过程中, 一定要对这些资料进行认真筛选和整合。同时, 我们还可以根据学生的实际情况及中考要求, 自编一些复习资料, 以提高复习工作的实效性和针对性。

四、讲究复习方法, 把握其中技巧

俗话说:“授人以鱼, 不如授人以渔。”教师要想方设法充分调动广大学生的学习积极性, 教给学生方法对知识点进行正确的梳理、归纳、对比、总结, 让他们掌握复习的方法和技巧, 把那些复杂零乱的知识系统归纳, 实现条理化、系统化。

五、建立错题档案, 弥补答题失误

在平时练习或复习过程中, 教师要教给学生把做题时没有把握的题做上标记;讲评试卷时, 把出现错误的题也做上标记, 并摘抄下来建立错题档案, 并及时弄懂、掌握。相隔一段时间后再把这些带有标记的题温习一遍, 做到有的放矢, 弥补失误, 避免再出差错。

六、保持良好心态, 轻松应对中考

我们都知道, 良好的心态是决定成败的关键。复习阶段, 教师不仅要关心学生的学习, 更要关注学生的身心健康状况和发展状况。教师可以通过与学生谈心等方式了解学生的思想动态, 发现问题, 及时解决, 使学生放下包袱、轻装上阵。同时, 教师自身也要注重调整浮躁情绪, 不要与学生形成产生矛盾。

七、模拟中考测试, 提高应对能力

1. 合理利用模考试题。

在模拟测试时, 最好使用答题卡, 这样会节省时间和人力, 也能及时讲评。测试题应该考一套就讲评一套, 可以采用学生提问或小组讨论的形式进行讲评, 以便学生及时改。

2. 提高模考答题要求。

学校安排的模拟考试, 在考题分值、考试时间和题型上要与中考尽量一致, 要提醒学生把更多的时间用在做大题和难题上, 提高学生的解题速度和准确率, 争取在规定的时间内提前几分钟交卷, 留足规定的答题时间, 避免不能按时完成答卷。

总之, 英语中考总复习是中考取得理想成绩的关键性工作, 是一个很重要的学习阶段。对此, 我们广大教师必须认真研究新课程标准在听、说、读、写等方面的具体要求, 了解考试大纲对考试内容的具体要求。在复习过程中, 要不断学习、不断改进, 勇于创新, 根据本班的具体情况拟定灵活多样的复习方案, 力求取得理想的成绩。

摘要:作为毕业班教师, 如果能够准确把握住每年中考英语试题的出题导向和规律, 采取合适的复习方法, 就可以轻松有效地搞好中考之前的复习工作。现将几年来笔者从事初中英语毕业考试复习工作上的一些做法总结如下, 愿与大家共勉:明确指导思想, 制定切实方案;研究中考试题, 搜集中考信息;选好复习资料, 找准切入之点。
