篇3:口语对话练习

口语是一种利用语言表达思想、进行口头交际的能力, 本课程注重培养和训练学生语言知识转换的能力, 帮助学生养成良好的口头交际的习惯:清晰、流畅、达意, 使学生知道在什么场合或情景下应怎么说。本课程的教学目的是通过大量的口语练习和实践, 逐步培养和提高学生用英语进行口头交际的能力。通过本课程的学习, 学生应能就日常生活中的一般情景进行恰当的交谈;能比较准确地表达思想, 做到语音、语调、语法基本正确, 语言运用基本得体。

2 主要问题及解决办法

2.1 高职高专学生通常在英语口语学习当中缺乏主动想象的积极性, 未创造一个模拟情景。模拟情景是接近日常交际的情景, 有时是生活的或简化的生活片段, 有时是想象或臆造的情景。在创造一个英语对话的过程中, 很多学生通常没有思考对话者关系, 事件发生地等等的情景, 使得对话欠缺真实效果, 导致学生口语得不到应有的练习。在口语教学当中, 教师需要强调情景设置的重要性。教师需要努力引导与创造一种让学生能够面对的恰当的语言环境。鼓励学生想象对话话题可能发生的时间, 地点, 人物关系等等细节问题, 根据话题考虑可能发生的合理情形, 并围绕该情形展开对话。例如借钱这一话题, 教师就可以给出steal, cheat, urgent, hospital, car accident, 等等一类词条激发学生想象力, 从而使学生能形成有语境, 有合理情形的完整对话。在对话练习中, 教师要在教学过程中尽可能鼓励学生的对话建立在一个语境丰满, 合理的基础之上。这样的对话才能在将来的实践中起到积极作用。

2.2 根据Wilga M.River的教学理论, 教师在口语教学中, 教师要理解言语的过程, 并鼓励学生通过言语来表达情感, 沟通, 并且对人、事、物做出相应反应, 影响他人。在英语口语教学中要明确, 对话练习是为了学生练习使用第二语言来进行日常交流。所以在学生的对话练习中, 要强调交流性, 合理性。

2.2.1学生对话缺乏互动性是高职高专学生在做对话过程中常常出现的问题。例如, 对话话题:问路, 教学目的:正确使用问路指路用语。

首先我们可以看到, 这则对话使用了正确的问路的常用短语、句子, 但仔细观察后我们会发现, 在对话1当中, 信息点非常集中, 对话的任务大部分压在角色B的身上。对话者之间缺乏互动性, 对话缺乏了适当的互动性就如同一个人的独白, 不能形成沟通交流, 这就失去了对话的意义。对话者为了避免这种一头重的对话模式, 就应该合理的把整段问路的信息切分开, 适时地将对话交给对方, 看对方是否真正接受到信息, 而后再给予下一步的信息。这样的对话可信度比较高, 互动性强。学生在对话中缺乏互动性的原因其一, 是对话双方会有一方强势, 另一方就会产生依赖情绪, 不肯积极考虑参与对话。其二是没有把对话带入日常生活考虑。那么教师就需要在讲解例文时强调有承接功能的句子。例如:Can youcatch me?Is it all right?Can you see it?鼓励学生在对话中使用这类句子。同时, 鼓励学生回忆自己问路的经历, 尽可能的让教室中的对话就象发生在日常生活中一样, 让对话听起来合理, 使得信息传递有效性提高。教师可以允许学生在台前来表演, 让学生在完全放松的环境中活跃思维, 促进学生对于对话的合理性互动性的考虑, 达到言语交际的目的, 同时也可让课堂气氛充分活跃起来。

2.2.2学生在对话练习中也会出现不符合日常交流规则的对话。往往这种对话在仔细思考后, 会认为非常可笑。但在学生对话练习中, 这种重要信息缺失, 不符合日常交流规则的对话常常出现。这也反映了一些高职高专学生在学习英语过程中考虑不周全, 不愿多动脑的问题。那么作为教师, 在交代对话话题之后, 就需要启发学生思考这个话题必须谈到的因素, 如:时间, 地点, 人物关系, 合理借口等等。在口语教学的初期, 可以让学生发挥头脑风暴, 畅所欲言, 让学生说出他们认为重要的信息点, 及在对话中必须交代的事实条件, 让学生思维活跃起来, 教师可以作一定补充, 归纳出一个对话所必须交代的信息, 让学生逐步形成习惯, 使对话必须符合交流原则。对话一旦出现这样的问题, 教师应在学生讲完对话后指出问题, 并给予学生时间修改, 并能在最后给出一个符合日常规律的对话来。

2.3词汇在英语学习中非常重要。同样, 词汇对于英语口语学习会有很大影响, 在对话练习中尤为体现。由于高职高专学生在英语方面学习的外在压力不大, 对词汇的积累会有所欠缺, 那么学生在平时的对话练习当中就会体现出问题。一方面, 由于词汇量不够, 对话练习大多时间浪费在查字典上, 另一方面, 表达过于简单, 不肯使用新词, 这就导致学生的语言缺乏表现力, 不形象, 过于泛泛。例如学生对话中, 常常从头到尾使用good, bad等一个简单的形容词。教师就需要督促学生形成积累单词的习惯。首先, 死记硬背在词汇积累方面是需要提倡的, 在背单词的过程中, 强调同义词, 反义词的记忆, 这样就可以避免对话中词汇的匮乏的问题。同时, 可以鼓励学生, 用适合自己的方法来积累并使用词汇。例如, 组织英语沙龙, 英语戏剧, 英语演讲等活动, 让学生有机会在毫无压力, 无须教师监督的紧张环境下畅所欲言。以各种各样的活动激发学生去表达, 并在主动表达的过程中学习常用词汇。最后, 在布置对话任务时, 可以让学生联系实际生活中的事物, 本地的特点来表达。例如问路这个话题, 就可以安排学生来讲出从学校出发, 到达某一具体地点的路径。这样, 在对话过程中学生目的性增强, 对话兴趣会提高, 就会自然的学会很多日常词汇。
