论文题目：中美博士论文英文摘要语步中的立场标记分析 ——以材料科学与工程专业为例
摘要：立场标记主要指语言使用者用于表达对所述命题信息的个人态度、评价或判断的语言手段。随着对语篇人际意义的意识不断加深,近年来研究者愈加关注学术写作中立场标记的使用情况。但现有研究多聚焦于期刊论文和应用语言学学科,对学生论文摘要和理工类学科的研究较少。因此,本研究以材料科学与工程专业为例,结合对摘要的语步分析,探讨中美博士论文英文摘要中的立场标记使用情况。本研究从中美材料科学与工程专业博士论文中各搜集了56篇英文摘要,自建了两个小型语料库:中国学生摘要语料库（CCSA）和美国学生摘要语料库（CASA）。本文首先参照Santos（1996）提出的语步分析框架对语料库中摘要的语步进行识别和标注,然后根据Biber（2006）提出的立场标记分类标准对摘要中各类立场标记进行机器检索和人工筛选。通过数据统计和文本分析,本文重点揭示了中美学生摘要语步中的立场标记使用异同点。研究结果表明,中美学生摘要语篇结构相似,但中国学生摘要信息完整度偏低,重视研究背景（STR）而缺少研究内容（PTR）和结果讨论（DTR）,这削弱了摘要的说服力。此外,尽管中美学生对立场标记的总体使用偏好相似,但中国学生过度依赖情态动词和立场动词+that补语从句,而忽视了立场副词和立场动词+不定式补足语的立场表达功能。通过对中美摘要不同语步中立场标记的分布情况进行对比分析,研究发现立场标记的使用与各个语步的交际功能密切相关。两个语料库中均是结果讨论（DTR）,研究结果（STF）和研究背景（STR）语步使用立场标记较多,同时在不同语步中学生也为实现不同交际目的而在立场标记的选择偏好上呈现明显差异。然而较之美国学生,中国学生在各个语步中对立场标记的使用还有待加强,存在过多或过少使用的情况。这也会影响摘要的说服力。本研究从实证角度出发,揭示了不同语步中立场标记的恰当选择对摘要实现交际功能的意义,同时发现中国学生在摘要语篇结构和立场标记的使用方面还有待提高。研究结果对二语学术写作教学具有启示意义。
