论文题目：《机械类设备的技术招标文件》汉译英实践报告
摘要：招投标活动现已成为国际经贸活动主要手段之一,技术类招标文件在某种程度上决定了招标活动能否成功。译者受兰州兰石重型装备股份有限公司委托,翻译了机械类设备的技术规范和质量控制等内容。本次翻译实践任务以《机械类设备的技术招标文件》内容为源文本。本实践报告首先简要阐述了翻译任务的背景和意义,然后以德国功能主义翻译理论学家汉斯·费米尔（Vermeer,1987）“目的论三原则”为理论依据,对标书文件的背景信息、文本类型及句篇结构进行了分析。通过分析发现,技术标书属于典型的信息类文本,翻译此类文本的难点主要在于处理中英文语言结构的差异以保证译文的可读性。为保证翻译质量,译者查阅了有关招投标书翻译的平行文本,选择“十三五”教材《机械工程专业英语》和委托方所给文件《超大型容器移动工厂》作为平行文本和参考术语的来源。在翻译过程中,译者借助Trados以及Tmxmall等在线辅助翻译工具,结合文本语言特点,运用不同的翻译方法及技巧进行翻译。译者采用直译、意译等翻译方法,结合拆译、合译、增译、省译、转换等翻译技巧来解决词法和句法方面的翻译难点,总体实现了译文的“忠实、连贯”,增强了译文的可读性,完成了委托方交付的翻译任务。最后,译者得出结论如下:首先,在目的论三原则的指导下,招投标文件的翻译需要以准确传达信息为主要目的,做到“忠实、连贯”,对翻译材料不了解时,应及时查找相关资料以及和委托方进行沟通,做好充足的译前准备,避免闭门造车;其次,为使译文读者和原文读者产生相同或相似的反应和理解,需要结合不同的翻译方法和技巧;最后,译后也需要进行多次校对,保证译文质量。
