论文题目：农村小学英语教师继续教育现状调查研究 ——以湛江市麻章区乡镇小学为例

摘要：教师继续教育是加强教师队伍建设的重要环节,是推进素质教育,提高教育质量的重要保证。随着农村基础教育改革不断深入,农村教师队伍素质的提高显得尤为重要,而小学教师继续教育是有效提升农村小学教师素质的重要手段,是全面推进农村教师素质教育的重要保证。因此,加强农村小学英语教师继续教育,全面提高农村小学英语教师的综合素质成为必然。本文通过综述国内外学者的研究,基于终生学习理论、教师继续教育理论和教师职业发展理论,采取问卷调查的形式,采用李克特量表（Likert scale）对湛江市麻章区乡镇小学的132名英语教师进行问卷调查,并使用SPSS 20软件对收集的结果进行研究和分析。本调查包含教师的基本情况,教师的教学理念和教学实施情况,继续教育师资培训的现状三部分内容,具体从教师自身教学理念、教学技能、教学水平、教师对继续教育课程设置的观点、教师对继续教育形式的看法、教师对继续教育的评价、教师对继续教育的需求进行问卷和调查,旨在解决以下问题:1)湛江市麻章区乡镇小学英语教师继续教育的总体现状如何?2)湛江市麻章区乡镇小学英语教师继续教育存在的问题及问题的原因是什么?3)针对这些存在的问题,应该采取什么样的对策?调查分析结果显示,湛江市麻章区小学英语教师继续教育总体现状不尽如人意,问题主要表现为:（1）英语教师进行继续教育存在着实际困难。首先是英语教师男女比例不合理,女性教师占了大多数。此外,英语教师的课时数都比较多,教学工作任务比较繁重。另外,还有少部分教师不是英语专业毕业的,加重了英语专业继续教育的难度。（2）现行的培训理论与农村英语教师的教学实际不相适应。通过调查发现,绝大多数英语教师教学理念都掌握的较好,但是在实际的教学过程中还是遇到了不少困难,尤其是在教材整合和多媒体技术辅助教学方面。（3）目前麻章区英语教师继续教育师资培训所面临的困难是学习资料匮乏,挤占工作、休息时间,工学矛盾比较严重。导致问题的主要原因是教师对继续教育的认识不足,培训方式单一,培训师资薄弱且缺乏职业精神,考核制度不完善,培训内容缺乏针对性,尤其是外语教学理论学习,小学英语教学法及小学英语教学技能,小学英语教材分析与开发、语言技能、语言知识等方面培训严重匮乏。在此基础上,本人对湛江市麻章区乡镇小学英语继续教育提出以下对策:（1）优化农村小学英语教师队伍结构,提高教师学历水平和科研水平,促进教师队伍整体质量的提高。（2）有机融合培训教学内容和农村实际教学需求,采用“宽进严出”方式,有机结合过程性评价以及终结性评价,建立严格的质量考核评估机制。（3）利用网络计算机开展远程继续教育培训,创新农村小学英语教师继续教育的培训方式,缓解教师参训的工学矛盾,提高培训效率。（4）引进名师名家,整合资源,统筹规划,提高农村小学英语教师培训内容的针对性,提高培训效果。希望本研究能对提高农村小学教师继续教育有效性和促进农村小学英语教师素质提升起到一定的帮助。此外,笔者在调查的过程中,得到了启示,发现了不足,提出了后续相关研究的建议。
