本文将针对非英语专业大学生群体在英语自我效能感这一领域进行深入研究, 并且在此基础上对东北石油大学华瑞学院在校非英语专业大学生进行实证研究, 仅供对这一问题感兴趣的研究者参考。

一、研究方法

本研究采用自编开放式问卷与自编自陈式量表相结合的方法检验独立学院非英语专业大学生的英语自我效能感的差异。

(一) 研究工具

1. 开放式问卷

首先利用访谈法对华瑞学院非英语专业学生进行了解, 然后根据自我效能感的这3个维度先后编制两份英语自我效能感开放式问卷, 对同一年级两个平行班共100名学生进行施测;最后对两份开放式问卷调查结果进行词频汇总分析, 得出英语学习效能感的初步框架为“听”“说”“读”“写”“词汇”5个方面的学习能力, “坚持”“刻苦勤奋”等意志品质, “紧张焦虑”“自信”“轻松”等情感体验, 以及“看英文电影”“听英文歌曲”等学习英语的行为。

2. 问卷的编制

Schwarzer于1998年在研究中指出, 研究自我效能感时的题项设计, 应具有如下3个基本特征:特征1, 主语应该是“我”, 目的是测量个体的主观信念;特征2, 应该含有“能够”、“会”等的动词成分, 表明活动的成功是源于个体的能力;特征3, 应该包括障碍或要求一定技能的任务, 说明活动任务应具有一定难度, 因为在没有难度的活动任务完成过程中, 所激发的自我效能期望是没有现实影响意义的。根据开放式问卷所得的词频, 最终正式问卷确立为4因素28道题项量表, 在测题格式方面, 本研究采用的是5点量表法。具体内容见附表2。

(二) 研究程序

1. 选取被试

以哈尔滨市东北石油大学华瑞学院大一大二年级340名非英语专业学生作为测查被试。

2. 施测过程

被试按教学班分发问卷, 由研究者使用统一指导语, 采用无记名方式填答, 统一收存。后经筛选, 将漏答项, 重复问卷, 随意填写问卷剔除, 最后得到有效问卷326份。其中, 男生233人, 女生93人。调查数据通过spss18.0进行统计分析。

(三) 数据处理

调查数据通过spss18.0软件进行统计分析。

1. 信度分析与探索性因素分析

340份问卷中有效问卷为326份, 有效率为95.8%。对这326份问卷所得数据进行信度分析, 得出Cronbach系数 (拆半信度) 为0.793, 根据所得数据进行删题, 对删题后所剩题项进行探索性因素分析, 得到KMO值为0.928, Bartlett’s Test为2383.83 (df=136, sig.=0.000) , 说明测量数据很适合作为因素分析。见表1。

采用主成分法, 通过斜交旋转, 发现无因素负荷值小于方差累计贡献率为62.696%。

因此, 最后将量表确定为17个题项, 分为4个因素。此时量表的总信度为0.912, 4个因素的Cronbach系数分别为0.829, 0.792, 0.757, 0.746。4个因素的信度均比较高, 说明该问卷的信度良好。

二、结果与分析

(一) 探索性因素分析结果

探索性因素分析结果表明, 年龄在20岁以下的被试与年龄在20岁以上被试之间在英语自我效能行为因素方面有差异;非英语专业男大学生和女大学生的总体英语自我效能感没有明显差异;城乡大学生在英语自我效能能力因素方面有差异;非英语专业文理科大学生的总体英语自我效能感没有显著差异;高考英语成绩不同的大学生在英语自我效能情感因素和能力因素方面有显著差异。

(二) 大学生英语自我效能感分析

从探索性因素分析结果我们可以看出, 非英语专业大学生在年龄方面有差异, 20岁以下的大学生在英语效能行为方面不如20岁以上大学生, 我们考虑这可能也与不同年龄的大学生的自控能力有关。而男女大学生在英语自我效能方面没有显著差异, 这与以往的英语自我效能感的研究结论不0.4的题项, 。参考因素分析碎石图 (图1) 抽取共同因素4个, 同, 研究者认为这可能与在被试选择时, 华瑞学院属于理科院校, 男女比例差异较大, 另外独立学院学生本身对于英语的积极性普遍不高, 可能导致这种结果出现, 具体原因还有待研究者进一步进行研究。非英语专业文理科学生在英语自我效能感方面也没有显著差异, 这与以往研究者研究结果一致, 具体原因也有待进一步探讨。城乡非英语专业大学生在英语自我效能能力感方面有显著差异, 这可能与当地教育教学方法和英语启蒙教育开始年龄有关, 具体原因研究者会进行进一步调查研究。而高考英语分数不同学生在英语自我效能情感因素和能力因素方面有显著差异, 可能是由于英语分数较低的被试对于英语学习已经产生排斥感, 进而导致能力降低, 能力降低导致分数持续下降, 从而导致恶性循环。这也与之前相关理论论述成功经验会提高自我效能感, 而反复的失败经验会导致自我效能感的降低这一理论相符合。

三、结论

经过探索性因素分析等心理测量与统计学处理, 我们最后确定了一份由17个题项, 四个因素组成的非英语专业大学生自我效能感问卷。问卷具有较好的信度。非英语专业大学生的英语自我效能感在年龄方面以20岁为分界点, 以上和以下被试间在英语自我效能行为方面有显著差异。城乡大学生在英语自我效能能力感方面有显著差异。英语自我效能感与高考分数间呈显著正相关。高考英语分数高的学生在英语自我效能情感和能力感方面都显著高于高考英语分数较低的学生。

摘要：经过相关理论分析, 通过明确自我效能感的定义, 进一步确定英语自我效能感的意义、性质。在此基础上编制了大学生英语自我效能感问卷, 并对东北石油大学华瑞学院非英语专业大学生326人施测。研究采用因素分析的方法, 把非英语专业大学生英语自我效能感分为4个因素, 并进一步比较了被试群体在这4个因素上的差异。

First of all, I love my major. Chinese literature is the symbol of the start of Chinese literary modernization. It plays an important part in modernization of our citizens' thoughts. What's more, modern literature is very close to our daily life and it can deeply reflect the styles and features of our society. I am fascinated by the great masters refreshing or warm or profound styles as well. But I am not easily satisfied with such superficial knowledge. I hope I could have a better understanding in modern literature by studying further. This is a very important reason for me to take the postgraduate exams。

I am from, a famous city with a long history over 2, 200 years. It is called Rong Cheng because there were lots of banians even 900 years ago. The city lies in the eastern part of the province. It is the center of politics, economy and culture. Many celebrities were born here, for instance, Yanfu, Xie Bingxin, Lin Zexu and so on……You know, there is a saying that The greatness of a man lends a glory to a place. I think the city really deserves it. The top three artware are Shoushan Stone, cattle-horn combs and bodiless lacquerware. In addition, it is famous for the hot springs. They are known for high-quality. Visitors at home and abroad feel it comfortable bathing here. There is my beloved hometown。

There are four members in my family; My parents, my cute cat of 9 years old and me. My father is a technician in the Fujian TV Station. He often goes out on business. So most of the housework is done by my industrious mom. Climbing at weekends is our common interest. The fresh air and natural beauty can help us get rid of tiredness. They can strengthen our relation, too. During my preparing for coming here, my parents' love and support have always been my power. And I hope in future I will be able to repay them。
