篇3：大学英语b级写作

在2013级2577名非英语专业本科生中, B级共187人。笔者在教学中发现, B级学生较AC两级具有不同的学习习惯和心理特点, B级学生英语基础较好、好学, 能很好地接受老师讲授的内容和完成老师布置的任务, 整体而言是三个级别中可塑性最强的。但同时, 有些学生学习方法比较死板, 自主学习能力和灵活性欠缺, 还有些同学在大学英语学习中感到无所适从。怎样根据B级学生的学习习惯和心理特点, 用最恰当的教材选择、内容取舍、教学重点安排、测试方法, 使B级教学最好地发挥学生的优势, 从而提高四级通过率, 提高他们的英语能力, 是本研究要解决的问题。

本研究采用定量和定性的方法, 先与学生进行访谈, 根据访谈结果设计问卷, 对B级学生进行全面调查, 从而明确目前我校2013级大学英语B级教学的亮点和优势, 同时发现不足和欠缺, 以明确今后努力的方向。

一B级的基本情况

B级为分级测试分数在55至62分之间的学生, 共三个学期大学英语必修课, 分别用大学英语2、3、4来代表, 即跳过大学英语1的课程, 直接从大学英语2开始学习, 教材使用相应的第二册。大学英语2的总评成绩分数乘以系数1.2生成虚拟的大学英语1的成绩, 并获得相应学分, 也就是B级的学生在没有升降级的前提下将在三个学期内获得C级学生四个学期所获得的学分, 即大学英语课程的全部学分。B级学生在第三个学期期末参加全国大学英语四级考试。

二研究方法和数据分析

1 研究方法

课题小组的B级教师先随机抽取班上的同学进行访谈, 让学生谈谈B级教学中的亮点、难点、不尽如人意的地方。根据访谈整理的内容, 教师了解了B级学生对教学的关注点在哪里, 从而设计了调查问卷。问卷采用里克特量表形式, 初稿完成后, 进行了一个班的小范围试测, 经过修订的量表定稿如下:

英语班级:

问卷还附加了一个开放问题:在三个学期的大学英语课程结束以后, 你希望还能以选修课的方式学习哪类英语课程?

问卷发放给B班153人, 其中有效问卷149份, 从6个B班中每个班随机抽取10份共60份问卷进行数据分析。

2数据分析

对“我觉得分级教学很有必要”这个描述, 有48.4%和29.0%的学生分别选择了“完全同意”和“基本同意”, 对于“升降级制度比较科学”的描述, “完全同意”和“基本同意”的同学占77.1%, 对于测试的科学“完全同意”和“基本同意”的占86.8%。说明B班学生整体对于分级的必要性、现有升降级制度, 及B班的测试等基本政策和制度持肯定态度。对于课程安排, 38.7%的同学选择了“不确定”, 9.7%的同学选择了“不同意”, 说明学生对B班的课程安排有一些看法。对教学进度感到满意的同学占77.1%。对课堂秩序感到满意的学生达到96.8%。感到在外教和中国老师课堂上受益匪浅的同学分别占51.6%和63.3%。38.7%和61.7%的同学分别对外教和中国老师的授课内容感到满意。67.8%和58.3%的同学分别对外教和中国老师的授课方法感到满意。认为单词量、阅读、口语、语法、写作能力得到提高的学生分别占96.6%、86.7%、96.8%、30.1%和67.4%。希望大学英语课程结束后还能上英语选修课的学生有80%。认为自主学习中心对英语学习起到积极作用的同学有67.8%。

三研究结论

1 B级教学的优势

第一, 课堂秩序良好。B级的课堂秩序很好, 迟到早退和旷课的学生相比A级和C级都要少, 这与B级学生的特点和B级的教学特点是分不开的。一方面, B级的学生在高中阶段英语成绩相对不错, 英语的基础和对英语的兴趣也比较浓厚, 根据分级测试分数划分到B级而不是A级的结果使一部分学生产生了心理压力, 因此他们较A级学生少了自信和骄傲, 更加踏实学习。另一方面, B级的教学内容相当多, 使课堂进度很快, 学生也就不愿意缺席, 造成损失。第三方面, 降级制度对B级学生也是一种无形的压力, 第一学期的降级还可能会导致大学英语1和2的两次补考。因此B级学生总体比较努力。

第二, 学生英语水平的综合提高。B级教学安排的特点兼顾了词汇、阅读、写作和口语, 几乎所有的学生都反映了单词量的大量增加和阅读速度的加快。敢于开口说英语, 能够用英语进行必要的交流也是B班学生的最大收获之一。在问卷涵盖的几项单项英语技能中, 学生反映提高大的项目依次为口语、词汇量、阅读、写作和语法。

第三, 增强了学生学好英语的信心。B级的教学, 尤其是中国老师的教学, 课堂内容多而且信息量大, 平时在B级教师的教研活动中, 教师经常交流怎样安排一些对于B级学生比较挑战的教学内容和作业。例如, 写2000字左右的文献综述, 制作PPT用英语做主题演示, 难度较大的单元测验等, 教师布置这些内容时鼓励学生可以做到做好, 当学生完成后教师给予鼓励, 这样就渐渐培养了学生的自信, 学生因没有分到A班和面临降级危险所产生的焦虑得到缓解, 使B级学生更适应紧张的学习气氛, 能更好地发挥潜力。

第一, 教学安排。B级前两个学期均为每周4学时, 外教和中国老师各2学时, 共64学时。第三个学期前10周为外教和中国老师各2学时, 第11至16周都由中国老师授课。即共192学时, 其中中国老师108学时, 外教84学时。部分学生认为外教的课时过多, 使中国老师的课堂时间非常有限, 精读课文需四课时完成一个单元, 泛读和快速阅读几乎没有时间处理, 老师的教学手段难以变化。因此外教的课时可适当减少, 如从每周2课时改为每两周2课时, 这样既能缓解中国老师精读课上的压力, 有利于学生打好词汇、阅读等语言基础, 也能保证外教口语听力课的连续性和有效性。

第二, 外教课程内容。外教课程的内容没有严格规范, 有的外教只在课堂上进行简单的口语活动, 很轻松, 与中国老师课堂大量的生词和阅读内容形成对比。外教的课程内容需进一步规范和明确, 除了口语和听力还应包括写作和泛读。

第三, 题库的建立。三个学期的B级所有测试试卷均由B级教学组的4位中国老师完成, 工作强度相当大。如果建立起三个级别的题库, 就可以方便各个级别的老师随时取用, 测试也会更加规范和客观。

第四, 四级后课程。三个学期的大学英语必修课结束后B级学生就处于基本上没有英语课可上的状态, 而这些学生恰恰是英语基础较好, 且对英语感兴趣的学生, 普遍希望能以选修课的形式继续英语学习。调查问卷上的开放式问题经过答案的整理, 学生希望参加的英语选修课有类型有, 商务英语、翻译、口译、高级写作、六级、雅思、报刊阅读等。学校和学院应考虑在这些方面尽量满足学生的需求。

第五, 教师固定。在访谈中学生对无论中国老师还是外教的频繁更替都不赞成, B级学习时间本来比C级已经少一个学期, 新老师与学生的磨合需要过程和时间, 而老师的相对固定也使B级老师更加了解学生, 能够更好地开展教学。

篇4：如何提高大学英语B级考试通过率

【摘要】高职高专院校非英语专业学生报考大学英语应用能力B级考试的人数逐年增多，而学生的通过率仍然较低。本文根据高职高专院校学生的实际情况，以惠州经济职业技术学院为例，分析学生的大学英语B级通过率较低的原因，结合本院分级教学的实际，提出了五点改善的措施，希望提高我院大学英语B级考试的通过率。

全国高等学校英语应用能力B级考试，是教育部批准实施的面向高职高专层次全国性教学考试，本考试以《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》为依据，既测试语言知识也测试语言技能，既测试一般性语言内容也测试与涉外业务有关的应用性内容。考试按百分制计分，满分为100分，60分及60分以上为及格，考试成绩合格者发给“高等学校英语应用能力考试”相应级别的合格证书。

根据《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》，高职高专的英语教学，不仅需要注重语言基础知识和基本技能的教学，而且必须突出实际应用语言能力的培养。然而高职高专学生缺乏学英语的兴趣是普遍现象，这与学生来源状况，英语基础现状和学习心理状况有着密切的关系，而直接的原因主要包括教学环境、教师水平和考试评估方法等外部因素和学习动机、英语基础与学习方法等内部因素。这就对我们教师提出了更高的要求，不但需要使不爱学英语的同学把英语学好，还要让他们通过等级考试，还有更重要的就是让他们对于英语的实际应用能力有本质的提高。

从上表可以看出，我院大学英语B级考试近5年的通过率情况，在2012年9月施行分级教学前，B级考试最高的通过率也仅有41.85%。我院从2012年9月，施行分级教学后，将除外语系以外的全部学生分为快班和慢班，2012年12月参与考试的都是快班的学生，通过率得以达到77.01%。而2013年6月，慢班的学生参与考试后，通过率只有35.18%。也就是说，2012届的总体通过率是47.38%，通过考试的学生还不到一半。从此数据可以看出，分级教学后，我院学生的大学英语B级通过率仍然不理想。

一、我院学生的英语B级通过率较低的原因

1.生源质量下降，随着广大高校的大力扩招，当下一些成绩平平，基础薄弱的学生也能踏入大学的校门，基础的不扎实，这就从根本上降低了大学英语B级的通过率。

2.学生学习态度不端正，20%的学生上课精力不集中，课下作业马虎潦草、抄袭频繁，只是把英语当成一种修学分的工具，丝毫没有提高自己英语水平的自觉性和能动性，有的甚至抵制和排斥英语。

3.学生学习目标不明确，对英语考试不够重视。众所周知，全球化的时代已经来临，贸易往来，资讯传递，文化交流更是任何国家赖以生存的不二法门.因此迈向国际化才是现代人的生存之道。

4.教材的使用不合理，分级教学后，没有及时更新分层次的教材，快班和慢班的学生用相同的教材，相同的教学进度。这样，就出现了快班学生“吃不饱”，慢班学生“消化不良”的情况。

二、提高英语B级通过率的措施

1.学习态度上：端正学生以往散漫的学习态度，形成良好的学习风气，养成积极主动学习英语的习惯。启发学生认识到学好英语的重要性，英语水平的提高也是当今社会职业的要求。在平时的教学过程中，教师也必须要有较大的耐心，尊重学生、平等对待他们。教师在平时的言谈举止以及授课过程中，不能表现出丝毫的对于慢板学生的歧视或者不耐烦，而是要与学生多谈心，多沟通，并不失时机地鼓励他们。教师应该与学生建立比较和谐融洽的师生关系，这样才能消除学生的心理压力，提高他们的学习热情。

2.教材上：学院对学生进行分班后，应更新教材，针对不同程度的学生使用相应的教材，使得大学英语教材与分班体制同步，更新教材后，教师应分组制定新的教学方案，设计针对不同程度班级的大学英语教案，并在教案中融入B级实训内容，改变传统的教学方法，给学生建立一个全新的学习环境，既能提高学生大学英语基础水平，又能增强大学生的应试能力。

3.教学内容上：增加慢班学生的词汇量，与快班学生最大的差距就是词汇量不足，有些学生甚至连小学的英语单词都认不出来，没有词汇量作基础，学习再多的应试技巧也是徒劳，所以，教师首先要鼓励学生记单词，花费一定的课前或课后时间对学生进行单词识记，文章背诵，段落翻译等训练。此外，还要加强学生的英语基本功训练，鉴于学生的英语基础水平，需加强慢班学生英语的听说读写能力，只有让学生具备一定的英语基础知识，才可以提高英语的整体水平。

4.教学方法上：针对慢班学生实际情况，在课堂内，激发学生的学习兴趣，精心布置活动，在活动中学习新知识，做到在“做中学”，以竞赛的模式完成练习题，增强学生竞争意识，竞赛过后给予相应学分的奖励，增强学生学习英语的成就感，课后带领学生积极参加英语角活动，主动与外教进行沟通交流，克服胆怯心理的同时培养英语语感。

5.应试策略上：教师自身先吃透总结出历年B级真题重难点的精髓，并摸透其出题规律，让学生尽量少走弯路。教师在课堂上讲解试题时，不应该直接告诉学生答案，而是应该教会学生解答这类题要通过何种技巧何种思维才能解答出来，然后让学生自己找出答案。学生掌握了解题技巧后，不仅能节省做题时间，还能准确地找到正确答案，提高得分率。

6.增加学生B级上机模拟实训的机会，让学生做到驾轻就熟。大学英语B级考试与传统的英语考试不一样，采取的是上机考试，很多学生英语水平不错，但把试卷内容放到电脑上，就感觉不习惯。所以应该让学生提早适应在电脑上阅题和答题，提高答卷速度，争取取得更好的成绩。

B级过级考试对高职英语教学和改革起着促进和指导作用。如何实现高职英语教学与过级考试的紧密衔接，在提高过级率的同时提高学生英语实际应用能力，从而最终达到学号英语的目的，成为英语教学长期探索和尝试的一项内容。endprint

一、活动背景

作为大一新生，刚刚踏入校园，对于很多很多的事物，处在朦胧之中的我们并不是很清楚。正如：英语B级是我们每个高职生必须经历的考试，但大学英语学习的侧重点及学习方法与高中迥然不同。大学，更多的是要靠我们自学，不会再有人成天催促我们学习，而英语又是如此的重要，我们的学习方法以及学习策略应该要随环境的改变而改变，我们应该吸取前人宝贵的经验，用最高效的方法学习英语，做好最充分的准备来迎接6月的英语B级考试。

二、活动目的和意义

通过这次讲座，让同学们熟悉大学英语的学习方法，使同学们了解英语B级考试的形式、流程，加深对B级考试的了解，知己知彼，使同学们可以更好地，更有针对性地投入到英语学习中，提高学习效率，从而在今年的六月份英语考试中从容应对，提高我们学院整体的英语水平。

三、前期准备及分工

1．前期宣传准备

（1）宣传部在讲座前一个星期内制作好宣传海报，海报于讲座开始前五天张贴于木板栏、食堂前的公告栏。以扩大此次活动在院里的影响。

（2）宣传部负责校园横幅宣传、会场内横幅一张

（3）学习部以短信方式通知各班学习委员讲座的时间、地点，让学习委员通知班里同学每人必须到场（讲座前三天通知）。

2、各部门分工

（1）由学习部在前三周内落实讲座主讲人，报上级审批后确定，再把主讲人姓名、资料报给办公室。

（2）办公室在前三周制作出主讲人的邀请函；由学习部（部长）向学校预定报告厅。（3）活动前两周，学习部负责选两人带邀请函正式邀请主讲老师以及讲座同学，在邀请时要与主讲老师（同学）商量讲座内容，并在讲座前做好PPT，由学习部负责协助主讲老师的讲课资料，并为其提供帮助。PPT要在活动前3天做好。

（4）讲座前两周，在学生会内部选拔有意愿且有能力的人担任讲座主持（可由文艺部负责主持人的推选工作，将名单报给学习部），将于讲座前一周确定主持人。

（5）讲座当天，办公室负责向全部学生会人员发短信，提醒学生会人员要起带头作用，多鼓掌，多问问题，避免冷场，以及通知讲座开始前1个小时，所有工作人员到位；

3、工作安排

a、由学习部(部长)联系报告厅管理人员打开报告厅门，确定电脑、话筒、音响等设备 1 是否齐全并能够正常使用。

b、宣传部将横幅挂在会场内； c、生活部、文艺部负责会场内的布置 d、宣传部安排人员现场拍照。

e、秘书部（派2人）做好准备接待主讲人，并将他们带到指定的位置，请他们入席，将之前准备好的水给老师以及讲座同学，做好会场服务；

f、秘书部会议记录员准备好记录会场，包括演讲内容，场下同学的反映，讲座结束后写(至少一篇)关于本次讲座的会议报告。

g、讲座开始后学习部成员负责会场内秩序。
