一、英文简历写作的意义

简历是求职者向招聘单位推销自己的重要工具, 它也是打开面试大门的金钥匙。一份语言规范、得体的英语简历体现出求职者具备清晰的思路、良好的语言表达、较强的沟通交际能力, 而且体现出求职者所具备的专业特长、语言功力、综合文化修养等, 因此英语简历的写作显得尤为重要。

二、英语简历写作中出现的问题

(一) “I”使用的错误

为了引起招聘方的注意, 在写作中, 应聘者主观地认为“I”的出现会加深招聘方的印象, 这样的写法适得其反。“I”的反复出现会另招聘方非常不舒服, 认为应聘者骄傲, 不顾及他人的感受。所以在写作中, 尽量少用“I”或“my”的句子。

如:As a result of my steady efforts in study, I can get good scores. (wrong) As a result of steady efforts in study, I can get good scores.

(二) 语法、句法错误

在简历的写作中, 恰当运用简单句, 避免使用复合句是书写句式时不错的选择。简单句虽然简单, 但招聘方阅读时倍感枯燥无味, 很难留下深刻印象。简洁中蕴含信息容量很大的语言是招聘方希望看到的。

如:As I have been in Japan for 4 years, I know Japanese well. (wrong) having been in Japan for 4 years, I know Japanese well. (right)

另外, 在时态的运用上学生也经常混淆和模棱两可, 对于过去时和现在时的运用常常错位, 例如, 在写作中, 描写相关经历用过去时, 介绍自己曾经获得的奖项用一般现在时。

(三) 词汇使用错误

在词汇的表达上学生经常使用中式英文。“三好学生” (excellent student instead of three good students.) “辅导员” (counselor instead of ideological tutor.) “班长” (class president instead of monitor.) 因语感较差, 导致中式英文的表达出现较多。

(四) 时间顺序错误

在英语简历的写作中, 学生在说明学历和工作经历时经常先写过去, 再写现在。而英文简历的写作要求采取倒叙的方式说明学历和工作经历, 先写现在的学习和工作经历, 然后再写过去。在写作上一定要注意规范化的写作, 而不要受到汉语习惯的影响。一定要写出地道、符合西方表达的句子。

(五) 版面格式不规范

3. 颜色。

2. 陈述句。

4. 平行结构。

1. 版面设计。

大家好!我首先感谢领导和同志们给我这个展示自我的机会,让我很荣幸地走上学校后备干部演讲选拔赛的讲台,我的内心十分激动。虽然,我不一定能讲得很好,但我还是要讲。因为,我很想通过这个讲台,把我的心里话袒露给我的领导和同志们。

2002年大学毕业以后,上级就把我分配到咱们学校从事语文教学工作。从被分配到咱们学校的第一天,我就暗暗许下诺言:“为教育事业干一辈子,一辈子干好教育事业”。从教十年来,在学校领导的关怀下,在同志们的帮助下,我坚持认真学习党的群众路线教育,不断践行职业道德规范,使自己懂得了怎样当好一个合格而又优秀的人民教师,怎样为党的教育事业踏实工作,默默奉献。在组织的信任支持下,连续十年担当班主任工作,为自己积累下了一定的班级管理经验,自己所带的班级,班风正、学风浓,曾多次受到学校的好评。

在教学上,我深知,自己虽然大学毕业,但在教学岗位上,还是一名新生。怎样当好一名合格的教师,怎样才能把学生教好,是摆在自己面前的新课题,还需要从头学起。因此,从登上教坛的第一天开始,自己就坚持边学边教,虚心向有经验的同志学习,苦练教学基本功,并潜心研究教材,研究教法,研究学生,使自己逐步熟悉了教育教学规律,提高了驾驭教材、设计教法和把握学生的能力。与此同时,自己坚持不断学习先进经验,不断吸取新教法,掌握新信息。在教学改革道路上,不断探索,不断尝试,教学效果日渐显著,连续三年被教育行政部门考核为优秀教师。目前自己已有十余篇论文在省级刊物上获奖或发表,并担任多家刊物的特约编辑。我始终不忘要努力做一个科研型、学者型的教师。因此,我坚持多读书,勤钻研,善思考,不断丰富自己,提高自己。在自己的努力下,获得了大学本科学历。

总之,在领导和同志们的关怀和帮助下,经过几年来的不懈努力,自己的教育教学能力和组织管理能力日趋成熟。自己的心也越来越贴近教育事业,为教育事业积极要求进步的激情在自己的心灵深处不断涌动。假如让自己担任主管教学的副校长这一职务,我将在思想上紧绷“质量立校”这根弦,积极配合校长,坚持一切以效率为导向,一切以目标为导向,在实现教学常规管理精细化的基础上,大力推行“名师工程”,大胆唱响“教研兴校”这一主旋律,在全校形成以教促教改,以教改促质量的良好工作格局。

第一,狠抓课堂常规,提高教学效率。课堂是学校教学工作的中心,课堂效率的提高不是靠1~2堂公开课,也不是靠1~2个骨干教师,而是靠每一位教师认真地上好每一堂课。而实行“推门听课”“关门评课”制将有力促进全校教师形成务实的课堂教学氛围。

第二,推行“名师工程”,促进教师专业成长。各学科通过自主报名、民主推荐的方式,选取一名既有水平又有热情的优秀教师作为本学科带头人,承担相应的责任及义务。如随时接受“推门听课”,每学期带一名新教师,每月举行一次教研活动等。如果有的教师自认为可以超越他,还可以向该学科带头人发起挑战,共摆教研擂台,一决高下。其他教师作为评委,在一个月之内可以自由地到这两名教师的课堂听课,可以共同参与两位教师组织的教研活动。最后,以民主投票的方式,决定谁是下一位学科带头人。使学校步入“名师育名师,名师促名校”的良性循环。

第三,采取多种形式组织教师学习现代课程改革方面的教育教学科研理论,进一步提高我校教师的理论水平和科研水平。

第四,开展多种形式的说课、赛课活动,不断提高教师实施新课程的能力。

第五,加强课题研究和教育教学反思的力度。要以各级研究课题为先导,进行教学研究,科研兴教,科研兴校;要重视县级及其以上课题的研究,要在教学中研究,在研究中教学。我们还要加强教学反思,组织教师认真分析课堂教学的不足之处、成功之处,特别是要加强单元测试、调研测试、期末考试的反思工作,通过反思、研究,改进课堂教学,提高课堂教学效率。

第六,发挥信息技术、网络技术在教育教学和管理中的优势,进一步完善集体备课的机制与管理。
