1、选择现在专业的依据:

在校生选择专业的依据主要是自己的喜好, 估计还可以, 适合自己。还有大约三分之一同学是被调剂到这个专业。

大部分同学愿意学习现在的专业。但同时也说明这个专业在高考生中的认可度不高, 是被动选择。学生对本专业的喜好可以提高其在旅游行业的就业率。同时也有利于专业课的学习。

2、你是否满意目前自己所就读的专业:

喜欢本专业和不确定的各占4 3%和44%。有大约43%的学生对自己的专业选择很迷茫。不知道自己到底喜欢什么样的专业。只有很少的同学不喜欢本专业。要加强专业认可度的教学。

3、你对本专业了解吗:

有70%的同学对本专业有一般了解, 有13%的学生对本专业不了解。只有14%的同学对所学专业比较了解。大部分同学了解所学专业。学生在了解的基础上要强化专业的学习, 为以后的就业打下坚实的基础。

5、大学期间的就业意向;

有45%的学生选择酒店, 选择旅行社和考研的同学各占17%。17%的同学选择创业。

升职发展空间, 人际关系, 薪资福利, 自我价值, 工作环境是影响同学在旅游业就业的最主要因素。但部分在校生认为旅游行业是吃青春饭的。而应届毕业生则很少, 应届生经过实习对这个问题看法较成熟。老师在教学过程中要帮助学生树立正确的认识。

7、您对自己在本专业就业的前景如何看待:

98%的同学认为本专业的就业前景不错。只有2%的同学人为本专业就业前景不好。学生对本专业就业的前景看好, 对旅游业的发展有信心。

8、在本专业就业最担心哪些问题:

大二的同学主要认为就业前景不容乐观, 找不到自己满意的工作。其次是缺乏清晰的职业规划, 致使无法定位自己的工作岗位。大一大三的同学担心的主要问题是缺乏清晰的职业规划, 无法定位自己的工作岗位。其次是担心自身的能力、身体素质、技能水平不符合本专业相关企业用人的标准。只有很少的人对自己有信心, 认为自己能找到合适的工作。大二的同学经过学习对自己想做什么有了目标, 主要想从事自己想干的工作, 对目前的就业形势还不太了解, 所以选择与大一大三不同。大三的同学即将实习找工作, 因为缺乏清晰的职业规划, 无法定位自己的工作岗位。而一年级的学生对专业的学习只是刚开始, 对旅游管理专业还没有充分的了解。

9、现阶段您觉得自己为了实现自己的职业目标应该培养哪些能力, 具备哪些素质:

大一学生主要选择了职业能力与综合素质、求职面试技巧、说话艺术和专业知识的学习。大二、大三的同学主要选择职场中为人处世原则和专业知识的学习。其次, 大二的同学还注重社会实践经验的积累, 大四的同学想得到求职、面试技巧、说话艺术的指导。年级不同、知识的积累不同, 社会实践的多少不同造成他们选择的不同。

1 0、毕业后的您的求职方向:

大部分同学选择在旅游业就业。并且40%的同学愿意去酒店, 17%的同学去旅行社, 和他们在大学时的就业选择差不多。应届生考研的比例和在校生考研的比例都是20%。同学求职意向的选择较稳定。而应届毕业生只有少部分愿意在旅游业就业。与大学时的就业意向相比, 应届生毕业后在旅游业就业的意向下降了14%。应届生实习后对旅游业有了更深入的了解, 影响了他们的选择。

在校生最看重的因素是个人的晋升发展和工作兴趣。应届毕业生最注重个人的晋升发展和薪资福利。把工作兴趣放在第三位, 工作环境也占了相当的比重。个人的晋升发展和工作环境是同学都关注的问题。在工作兴趣和薪资福利之间大四学生更看重薪资福利, 可能是他们经过实习做出的选择更理性。

大一大二的主要障碍是外语水平。大三大四的主要障碍是工资水平, 其次是外语水平。20%的同学还认为本专业发展前景不好。加强外语教学提高学生的外语水平。

1 3、您认为旅游专业应该加强哪些方面的建设:

大多数同学都认为旅游管理专业要加强实践教学, 培养学生的实践能力。酒店方面的课应多开一些, 教学内容要与时俱进, 教学形式要灵活多样。

从调查结果可以看出, 影响同学们求职意向的有很多因素, 但大部分同学愿意在旅游业就业尤其是在酒店就业。学校在教学过程中应优先考虑以下内容。

(1) 优化课程设置, 明确学生培养目标, 提高师资队伍水平, 增加酒店管理方面的课程, 完善教学形式和内容。

(2) 健全实践教学内容, 优化实习环境, 合理安排实习岗位。

(3) 加强学校与旅游企业的合作, 为人才的培养铺设新到路。

(4) 学校应开设职业生涯规划方面的课程, 要加强职业生涯规划方面的教育。

目前,中国的高等教育国际化已是大势所趋,《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010-2020)》中提到,要扩大教育开放,应“实施来华留学预备教育,增加高等学校外语授课的学科专业”。[1]实施外语授课是高等教育国际化进程中的重要环节,本科生专业课程可以选择性地进行外语授课。

交通运输专业(空中交通管理方向,简称空管专业)是中国民航大学的特色专业之一,空管在岗位工作中经常会涉及到行业标准国际化、航行技术国际化、以及指挥外籍航班等问题,因此对其国际化的要求更高。所以学校选取了几门空管本科专业课程进行全英授课的教学改革,即采用全英文的教材和全英文的课堂讲授方式,下面就以《空气动力学》为例进行详细分析。

一、《空气动力学》全英文授课的实施概况

《空气动力学》是空管专业的一门必修专业课,与流体力学等其他专业不同,空管专业的本门课程关注的是空气的基本流动规律,飞机的基本气动特性,飞机操纵性与稳定性的基本原理。本课程全英文授课是在两个年级分别选取一个试点班以两个轮次进行。该课程共有46学时,第一轮次由法方教师直接全英文授课,采用模块式教学,用时一周半,周学时约为30学时;第二轮次由中方教师全英文授课,用时8周,每周6学时。两个轮次采用的是相同的英文教材,原有的中文教材作为辅助。

二、《空气动力学》全英文授课模式的改革

选定专业课程作为全英文授课的目标课程面临众多挑战,“高校国际化是以教育要素的全球性、交流活动的多样化、手段的网络化为特征的”[2],在全英文的授课过程中也要做到教学要素的国际化,教学手段的多样化,考核模式的创新性和全面性,这样才能达到预定的教学目标。

(一)教材的选取

全英文授课必须有配套的英文教材,试点班采用的主要是法国国立民航大学提供的英文教材,以及《空气动力学基础(Fundamental of Aerodynamics)》(Anderson,J.D.著,航空工业出版社出版)。两者相比较,前者内容较为简要明了,但部分内容不够全面;后者难度较大,适合程度较好的同学进行拓展学习。与此同时,本专业原有的中文教材作为辅助材料。

(二)教学方法的改进

在授课过程中让学生用英文思维方式学习和理解专业课的知识点,这就要求改进教学方法,做到以学生为主体,充分调动其积极性和主动性。教学方法的改进方面有:单向传输式授课改为双向互动式交流,让学生在学习中处于主动地位;抛砖引玉式授课引发综合专题式讨论,鼓励学生课堂上多提出自己的见解;课堂教材学习结合课外自主阅读,让学生通过多种渠道进行课外学习。总之,从各个方面提高学生的学习主动性,同时培养学生的自学和探索能力。

(三)考核模式的创新

过去该课程期末考试成绩比重很大,致使部分学生依赖于死记硬背、考前突击等方式通过考试。根据全英文教学的特点,对传统的笔试考核方式进行改革。设计出有针对性的英文考核试题,以目标知识点为基准,设计扩充适量考题,并采用面试形式(学生讲述、答辩教师随机提问等),考察对课程内容的掌握情况以及学生的英文表达能力。

三、《空气动力学》全英文授课效果分析

在第一轮次的《空气动力学》全英文授课结束后,对外教的授课效果进行了问卷调查。问卷共设计了十个问题,主要针对授课内容、授课教师、课堂氛围、教学效果、学生学习情况等方面,每个问题的答案在“同意,比较同意,一般,比较反对,完全反对”五个选项中勾选一个。问题如下:(1)英文授课内容安排合理,难易适当;(2)教师英文授课逻辑清楚,表达清晰;(3)教师合理安排教学活动,批改作业;(4)课堂气氛活跃,师生有良好互动;(5)教师能清晰解答提出的问题;(6)教学效果好,完成了教学任务;(7)课堂学习中语言基本不是障碍;(8)能跟上授课进度,掌握课程内容;(9)能教学内容提出问题并得到满意的答复;(10)经过本课程的学习,受益匪浅。

第一轮次的班级共40人,有35人填写了问卷,针对调查结果,在第二轮次的教学过程中,中方教师对课程内容进行了修订,并在开课前给学生提供了中英对照的专业词汇清单。在第二轮次的班级共40人,38人填写问卷。选取勾选“同意”的百分比来进行对比,详见表1,可见各项调查结果都有明显改进。

经过分析,两次问卷体现出的差距的原因主要有:学生英语水平的不均,第一轮次的班级四级通过率约为30%,六级通过率不到10%,第二轮次的班级四级通过率约为35%,六级通过率约为15%;中外教师授课的差异,第一轮次中法方教师英文授课,带有一定的法国口音,第二轮次是中方教师授课,学生更容易接受;课程时间安排的区别,第一轮次是模块式教学,专题式学习能在让学生能把学过的知识贯穿起来,但课外时间较少,学生没有足够时间吸收消化,不利于扩展学习。

另外,两个班级的课程考核通过率分别为:90分以上:5%和8%;80-89分:15%和20%;70-79分:25%和30%;60-69分:48%和38%,不及格率:7%和4%,基本完成了教学任务。

综上所述,选取空管本科专业课《空气动力学》进行全英文授课教学改革总体而言达到了预期的教学目标,得到了老师和学生的认可,虽然和中文授课相比有许多困难,但处在高等教育国际化的大背景下,全英文授课的教学模式值得进一步推广。
