CompilingprogramswithFISH languge, thecompactionofasphaltpavementissimulatedwithdiscrete elementmethod.Theresultsweresatisfying.Whenthe relationbetweentheVCAandcompactiontimesisconsidered, theresultisconsistentwithconstructionexperiences.When itcomestotheidiographicquantity, theoptimalinitialcompaction timesgained from the simulationarejustsametotherecommendatoryvalue ofthespecifications[4].Sotheresearchcanprovidea theoreticalbasisforpavementcompaction.
