2012年我省成人学士学位外语考试报名采用网上报名与现场报名确认相结合的方式。没有在网上报名的考生一律不得进行现场报名确认;只有网上报名而没有进行现场确认的报名一律无效。

(一)报名对象及条件

1.湖北省内国家承认学历的各类成人高等学校的本科在校学生及湖北省高等教育自学考试本科在籍学生。

2.2011年12月份毕业的湖北省高等教育自学考试学生符合国家学士学位授予条件的可以报考。

(二)报名时间及地点

1.网上报名时间:2012年2月20日—2月29日(2月29日晚24时关闭网上报名系统)。报名时间过后不补报名。

1. 定位关键词

所谓关键词是指题干中具有提示信息作用的词。这类词可能是表转折或对比的连词,也可能是动词、名词、形容词等,需要我们根据其提示找出选项中可进行同义替换的词或是与之意思最匹配的词。考生只要抓住了题干中的关键词,就可以迅速确立选择依据,缩短解题时间,而不必全部读懂所有题干再去解题。例如第22题:

Carbon dioxide, which makes a _____ between us and the sun, prevents heat from getting out of the atmosphere easily, so the earth is becoming warmer.

2. 结合语境

对于有些单选题来说,每个选项之间没有关联,只靠找关键词可能无法解题。这时就需要把握题干给出的语境,通过句子的含义来判断。例如第25题:

完形填空

2013年高考英语湖北卷完形填空并没有和往年一样沿用通过一则故事讲一个道理的心灵鸡汤式的文章,而是选用了一篇纯记叙文,从题材上来说,比往年难度有所下降。另外,文章中无生僻单词,大部分学生都能读懂文章,而且选项单词也比较简单。因此总的来说,这次完形填空难度不大。

这个考试有什么规律、难易程度如何?老师介绍说,北京地区成人本科学士学位英语考试的难易程度介于高考英语和大学英语四级之间,但并不是说你通过了大学英语四级就能通过成人本科学士学位英语考试。成人本科学士学位英语考试有它本身的规律,与高考英语相比,词汇量较大、阅读文章稍难;与大学英语四级相比,语法知识考的更全面、更系统;与高考英语、大学英语四级相比,成人本科学士学位英语考试更注重基础、更注重搭配、更注重常见句型。这也正是一些考生高考时英语成绩不错却通不过成人本科学士学位英语考试,一些考生大学英语四级过了通不过成人本科学士学位英语考试的原因。但总的来说,如果高考时英语成绩挺好,如果大学英语四级考过了,再了解一些成人本科学士学位英语考试的规律,通过这个考试是没有问题的。

这个考试都有哪些题型、如何备考?老师介绍说,大纲中的第一部分是“阅读理解”,有三篇短文,总阅读量不超过900词,每篇短文后面仍五个问题,每题2分,该部分共计30分。大纲中第二部分为“词语用法和语法结构”,单句为30句,每句为1分,该部分共计30分。大纲中第三部分“挑错”及第四部分“完型填空”各计10分。大纲中第五部分英汉互译,英汉互译的试题由两部分组成,第一部分为英译汉,要求考生把前面阅读理解文章中划线的五个句子译成中文;第二部分为汉译英,要求考生把五个难度适中的中文句子译成英文。英译汉和汉译英的句子难度均低于课文的英语文 章。英汉互译部分每个句子均为2分,共计20分。

老师强调,千万不要轻言放弃。成人三级英语考试通过率不高,主要是因为大部分考生不重视这个考试,没有掌握这个考试的规律,不知道这个考试还有许多技巧。如果克服畏难情绪,积极复习,尤其是参加辅导班在老师的指导下认真学习,从40多分跨越到60多分、70多分,甚至从30多分、20多分跨越到60多分,都有很多成功的先例。
