论文题目：大学生英语写作中文化因素的研究

摘要：作为英语的四项基本技能之一，一直以来英语写作都是英语教学的重点部分。尽管教师采取了很多措施去帮助学生提高他们的英语写作水平，但效果仍旧不太令人满意。很多学者对大学生的写作问题进行了研究，但大多数研究都是从语言学角度进行的。本文作者在研究中发现文化因素对大学生的英语写作有很大影响。文化因素或直接反映在英语写作之中，或间接作用于大学生的写作潜意识，最终反映在作文中。写作是文化的表达，是文化的外在反映，脱离了文化分析英语写作，就是只见树木，不见森林。 本研究以Hall的高低语境理论和Hofstede的文化维度理论为理论框架，主要采用问卷调查法和对比研究的方法。本文全面分析了英汉文化对英语写作的影响，并提出了三个研究问题： 问题1：大学生的英语写作的现状如何？ 问题2：造成大学生英语写作困难的文化根源是什么？ 问题3：怎样从文化角度提出措施，提高大学生英语写作水平？ 围绕这一研究主题，本文作者对某高职院校英语专业60名学生做了调查研究，并对研究涉及的调查问卷和英文写作进行了细致分析。 研究发现：1.高职院校的大学生英语写作水平比较低。文化因素对大学生英语写作的遣词造句造成了很大影响。2.由于中国文化属于高语境文化，思维方式具有整体性、形象性、主体性，呈螺旋型，这就使得学生在英语作文中多用并列句和主动句，并把主题句置于文章结尾；集体主义文化使大学生在作文中偏好使用“we”来表达个人观点，并引用圣人、伟人之言作为论据，以求认同。3.在英语写作教学过程中，教学者应增加西方文化知识教学内容，将文化教学融入到语言教学中，提高学生文化意识，增加写作实践，从而有效地提高其英语写作能力。
