全国高考统考英语试题首先于1988年采用了书面表达题型,至今已连续采用了17个年头,其分值也经历了三个阶段:88年至93年计分为15分,占全卷分数的15%;94年至95年计分为25分,占全卷分数的16.7%;96年到2000年计分为30分,占全卷分数的20%。且2001—2005年高考书面表达,分值为25分。由此可见,书面表达的分值比重大,它是英语高考的重要组成部分。

《全日制高级中学英语教学大纲》明确地规定:“高级中学英语教学的目的,是在义务教育初中英语教学的基础上,巩固扩大学生的基础知识,发展听、说、读、写的基本技能,培养学生在口头上和书面上初步运用英语进行交际能力,……”书面表达就是在卷面上体现语言交际能力的一种重要形式。因此,在高中一年级就应该开展书面表达训练,而不是为了应付高考,在高三时才开展书面表达训练,到那时会有一种“为时太晚,力不从心”的感觉了。

新编高中教材编写的体系帮助我们摆脱了以往的困境,大大有利于全面培养学生听、说、读、写英语的四种技能。新教材从第一册开始就编排了大量的书面表达训练,这些训练由浅入深分层次推进,形成了一种“由易到难,由简到繁,循序渐进”的训练模式。但是由于高中新教材内容多,难度大,抽象概念增多,形象思维载体减少,语法现象复杂,这给刚迈进高中校门的学生又带来了一定的困难。这就要求教师要帮助学生了解高中教材的特点,指导学生掌握学习方法,培养学生归纳概括与逻辑思维能力,加强训练,使学生顺利完成初中、高中衔接的过渡。

然而在英语教学中,培养学生听、说、读、写的能力是相辅相成的,经常练习写作可以巩固和发展听说能力,还可以促进阅读能力的提高。写作还能促进学生勤复习、多思考,对一词一句反复推敲,因而有利于提高使用语言的准确性,同时有助于培养学生的英语思维能力。因而我从高一就开始采用以下几种方法指导学生写作:

一、用英语解释生词,为学生打好写作基础。

在教每课的单词和词组时,尽量用学生学过的单词、词组进行解释。例如:

continue —go on (doing)

artist —a person who draws, paints or takes photos

heat —make something warm or hot

刚开始时,是由我用英语解释生词,后来让学生看着汉语意思用自己学过的单词、词组来解释英语生词。这样,经过一段时间的训练,学生的英语思维能有所提高,为英语写作打下一定的基础。而且有的学生在英语写作中遇到写不来的单词时,能用这个单词的英语释义代替它,使英语写作更为顺利。例如:有的学生在写作中不知道“裁缝”英语怎么说,就用“a person who makes clothes”来代替“tailor”。

当然,这种说法是不符合英语语言习惯的,但对初学者来说,还是值得鼓励的。

二、通过改写对话。以第一人称或第三人称的口气讲述并写下每单元第一课的对话内容。例如:SEFC B Ⅰ A Lesson 13Jane and Betty are going on holidays in a few day’s time. Betty is going off to Guangzhou by plane next Thursday evening. She is staying with her friend Kate Klarke. Jane is going to Xi’an. She’s leaving on Friday. She’s going with her parents. She’s going by plane, too.

在这篇改写的短文里,只要在理解原对话的基础上,给主要句子换上一个主语即可。随着学习知识内容的增加和循序渐进的写作训练,理解主题,抓住要点的阅读能力就会逐渐增强,词语、句型的运用能力也会大大提高。

三、通过缩写课文,培养学生的英语概括能力。

新教材所选的课文题材广泛、体裁丰富,我们要好好利用这些有利的因素与条件进行写作训练。具体做法:先对课文做好充分预习并根据关键词来复述课文,最后把复述的内容写下来。

例如:BⅠB Lesson 82

Karl Marx was born in Germany. German was his native language. When he was young, he was force to leave his homeland for political reasons. He had to move from one country to another. In 1949, he went to England and lived there. Then he started working hard to improve his English. Before long, he could write articles in English for an American newspaper. Later, he was able to write the book 《The civil war in France》in English. Marx began to learn Russian in his fifties. At the end of six months, he had learned enough Russian to read articles and reports in Russian. Marx set us a good example in learning foreign languages.

有的课文是短剧,如高一Unit 18 Lesson 70 “The necklace”,我就让学生在班上表演,然后再把课文改为故事。

四、用命题方式让学生写自己熟悉、易于表达的题材

谈如何指导高中生提高英语书面表达

经过一段时间的缩写和改定的笔头训练之后,学生对写作有一定的基础和兴趣,我就开始让他们写一些自己熟悉、易于表达的题材。如:“My family”,“My school”,“A letter to a friend”,etc.

五、通过讲评帮助学生逐步掌握写作要领。

每次作文批阅后,我都抽时间在班上讲评,把写得好的作文念给学生听,并分析学生中常出现的典型错误。许多学生受汉语的影响,作文常出现中国式的英语,对这种错误应及时纠正。例如有一位学生在作文中写道:

She shook her head and then said “No”.

我将此句写在黑板上,指出错在哪里,怎样纠正,使学生从中学会正确的表达方法。

经过一年多的书面表达训练,大多数学生都能在规定的时间内写出比较通顺的英语作文。事实证明:只要正确认识,指导得法,持之以恒,加强训练,提高高一年起始年级学生写作能力,从而三年后达到高考要求是完全可能的。多年的高中英语教学实践中,现就如何切实提高学生的书面表达能力,探索解题对策,减少失误,提高学生的应变能力等有以下两方面的做法:一是从高一起抓好扎实的同步训练;二是高考总复习阶段加强书面表达题的指导和强化训练。

综上所述,英语书面表达能力的提高与学生的词汇、句型、语法等基本知识密切相关,更有赖于平时通过全方位的训练将学生的知识转化为能力,在学生已基本掌握行文技巧的基础上,教师还必须认真对待高考总复习中对书面表达的应考指导,重点在以下几个方面:

(一)审题。审题要抓住两个要素:一是内容,二是形式。既要通过题目所提供的信息找出书面表达的内容要点,又要根据题目的要求确定表达的形式。按照高考书面表达题评分要求,要点不能遗漏,格式不符合要求(如书信格式)也会失分。下面以93年高考书面表达题(看图作文)为例指导学生。通过仔细观察所给的六幅图画,启发学生找出以下要点:①父母住在农村②家里有一条狗,名叫“阿福”③父母去田间劳动,带上妹妹和阿福④妹妹去河边,阿福跟随⑤妹妹摘花,不慎落水⑥阿福边叫边跳下河⑦父母跑过来,看见阿福救妹妹⑧妹妹得救,阿福受到称赞。完成看图搜寻内容要点之后,让学生装按以上要点写出自己的书面表达,最后把试题答案发给学生对照,教师收取部分学生的答案进行分析、讲评,肯定成绩,找出差距,必要时选取学生中的优秀短文作为示范,鼓励学生互相学习,继续努力。

(二)指导学生学会列提纲。经过审题,明确了书面表达要涵盖的内容要点之后,必须先以各个要点为基础,拟出提纲,告诫学生不在拟出提纲之前就急于动笔,否则会影响短文的质量。提纲是文章的支架,有了它文章写起来即紧扣主题又层次分明,要点不会遗漏。

(三)重视“行文连贯”。行文连贯是书面表达评分最高要求的一项重要内容。因此,队了依据提纲进行表达、文句不出语言形式错误外,还必须注重行文的连贯性。为此,可告诉学生视不同情况,分别采用以下几种方法:

1、依照内容提示中提供的时间先后顺序写出文章。这种方法写出的文章平铺直叙,过程清楚,明白易懂。它常涉及以下表示时间的单词和词组。如:after, before long, afterwards, earlier, in the beginning, at last, in the end, …etc. .

2、按照空间位置(上下、内外或前后)的变换顺序写出文章。帮助学生归纳出以下表示空间位置的词或词组:above、in the middle of、beside、next to、between、off、towards、under、beyond、on the right(left)、outside、inside、over、behind,…etc. 。

3、按照事物的重要性为序进行表达。可先轻后重,亦可先重后轻,均可取得良好效果。已学过有关常用词和词组有:best of all、worst of all、more important、most important、above all、moreover、in the first place(首先),etc.。

4、用比较对照法写出书面表达.例如A与B进行比较对照,可将A、B的情况特征分述比较,也可将A与B的情况分项交叉进行对照。对比、衬托能突出表现某一事物的优劣、高低或强弱等品质,强化描述效果。这种方法常用到以下单词和词组:and、both、in the same way、the same、similar、similarly、dissmilar、different.

(四)带领学生共同研究高考评分标准。高考书店面表达题按七个档次评分的做法及要求已经数年稳定不变,其中第七档要求是:能写明全部或绝大部分要点,语言基本无误,行文连贯,表达清楚。这是最高要求,达到者得20—24分。这些要求指明了师生努力的方向。强化训练过程中务必提醒学生:抓住内容要点是书面表达的基础,不使用自己没有把握的词汇和句型可避免出现语言错误,但为了“行文连贯”就不能一味强调“尽量使用简单句”,必要时使用复合句会使得文章得体、通顺,同时显示出答题者较高的遣词造句能力和较深厚的功底。提醒学生在书面表达写完之后,要反复阅读几遍,查看内容、语言、语体三者是否都得到兼顾,是否把问题说清楚了。

(五)高考总复习中向学生提供一定数量按题材分类的常用典型的书面表达句式作为语言素材,让学生学习并加以记忆,以进一步丰富他们的语言素材和表达方式。

事实证明,围绕书面表达所进行的各项教学工作和活动,有效地提高了学生们的语言总体水平和能力。

第三篇:图表式书面表达写作指导

摘 要:本文主要是采用图表式的方法指导小学生进行写作。其方法主要是理解作文要求和内容,通过图形或者是表格的方式将作文内容表达出来,帮助小学生梳理写作思路,通过图表形式的展示,调动和培养小学生的写作思维,培养小学生的写作兴趣,为其他教师指导学生进行写作提供一些参考意见。

在小学语文教材中每个单元都会有习作的要求,大部分属于描述类型的作文。不管是什么样的写作内容,对于小学生来说都比较困难。语文教师在课堂上指导学生练习写作的时候也会提供一些写作方法。本文主要从图表式书面表达提供一些写作指导。

一、 表格式罗列指导方法

在描述性的习作中,有很多作文要求是以文字的形式表现出来。例如小学四年级上册中的一篇习作,要求小学生写一篇自然景观或者是身边的景物,只要是学生见过的景物都可以写。那么教师在帮助学生进行??作的时候可以采用表格式罗列指导方法,因为在本篇习作的前面是口语交际,小学生在口语交际阶段已经通过口述的方式讲述了自己见过的各种自然景观,教师可以选择一名学生讲述的内容以表格的形式书写在黑板上。例如一名学生讲述的是去动物园看动物的事情,学生可能就是几句简短的描述就结束了,但是教师可以在黑板上画出一个表格(如表1),以时间、地点、干什么为表格填写要求,通过学生的讲述教师将内容填入表格中。教师作为引导者对于动物园的活动引导学生说出自己最喜欢的动物,然后告诉同学们看见了几只动物,这些可爱的动物在做什么,最喜欢吃的是什么等等。这类表格式的引导是采取时间顺序的回忆进行罗列,也可以采用逻辑思维顺序进行罗列。例如观察日记的习作中,同样采用引导式提问和表格式罗列方式帮助小学生进行写作。首先让小学生选择观察的对象,可以是动物也可以是植物,例如家里种植的花朵,教师采用引导的方式让学生说出花朵是由种子经过培育长出美丽的花朵。然后让学生描述种子的形状,黑色,圆形颗粒,米粒般大小,当种子种在花盆中后,需要每天早晚浇水,然后种子从种2下到发芽到开花的时间都可以让学生记录下来,还可以让学生记录是否有除虫或者是施肥的过程。学生通过表格的提示可以详细的观察到植物的生长过程(如表2)。对于不同的观察对象可以设定不同的表格内容,小学生在观察事物的时候通常会比较粗心,只会观察到比较少的部分,通过表格的罗列可以提醒小学生有什么遗漏没有记录的地方,通过这种方式可以很好地培养小学生的逻辑思维能力,让小学生的思维能力得到锻炼。并且小学生可以自行设计表格,通过填写内容等方式加深学生印象,促进学生从多个不同角度进行思考和观察,通过这种方式的训练,学生写作水平自然也就会得到提升。

二、 图形式指导方法

小学生在进行写作的时候,由于小学生的生活环境比较单纯,很多事物可能没有见过或者是情感的体会不够深刻,因此在对一些科幻类或者是故事类的作文时,教师可以采用图形式的指导方法,帮助小学生进行写作。图形式指导方法的重点在于引导,例如在小学习作中有关于科幻故事类的写作要求,这篇习作需要充分发挥小学生的想象能力,教师作为引导者,可以通过展示各种科幻小说中的事物,如未来的衣服、食物、交通工具、住宅小区等会有什么样的变化。利用新媒体技术或者是PPT的形式展示各种科幻图片,如会随着温度改变颜色的衣服,做成胶囊状的事物、太空舱一样的交通工具、智能化的住宅小区,教师在展示各种科幻图片的时候,小学生可以展开自己的想象力,告诉教师自己希望的未来是怎样的,会有什么样的科幻产品出现。甚至可以利用科幻动画片中的部分小片段让小学生描述故事情节,教师可以询问学生这些未来的产品都有什么作用,或者是希望增添哪些功能。小学生的优势在于思维发散能力特别强,很可能是添加各种天马行空的想象,可以利用小学生的特点,教师从旁加以引导让小学生不至于偏离主题,这样就可以帮助小学生完成作文。同时这种方式可以用于其他故事性的写作,教师在前期收集各种童话图片组合在一起,让小学生通过图片中的内容猜测各种可能发生的故事情节或者是场景,从而激发小学生的创作能力和兴趣,让小学生掌握故事性作文写作技巧。

三、 图表结合指导方法

小学生作文随着年纪的增长要求也会越来越高,从简单的事物描述到复杂的情节描写,包括人物心理活动等等。例如小学语文六年级教材中一篇习作要求是描写暑期生活,可以是外出旅游、参观博物馆、学习游泳或者是其他活动。教师可以通过动画片或者是儿童电影中的暑期活动场景展示给小学生,引起小学生的回忆,让小学生自由选择印象最深刻的暑期活动。教师可以以自己的暑期生活为例,以表格的方式展示自己的暑期生活。例如旅行时间多长,天气、风景如何,有没有碰见有趣的人或者事情,包括自己的内心想法都可以通过表格的形式简单的展示出来。学生可以模仿老师的表格填写内容,构建自己的作文框架结构,然后是进行写作的过程中填入更丰富的内容。学生也可以在表格中画上几笔简笔画代表某一事物,这样更增添了写作的趣味性,让学生通过这种图表结合的方式感觉写作没有太大的困难。

四、 结论

通过上述对小学生图表式书面表达的写作指导分析,发现图表式写作指导方法可以很好地帮助小学生理解作文要求,梳理写作思路,激发学生发散思维能力和兴趣,提高小学生写作效率和水平,减少小学生写作的畏难心理。

寒假作业Chinese Young People’s Life Goals Today

A recent survey shows that in today’s society, Chinese young people’s life goals have become more diversified than before. When young people are asked what they will struggle for, more than half of the respondents choose to earn enough money to buy a house and a car for themselves. In addition to this practical goal, some people, about 44%, pick up their life goal as improving their life quality or to be rich while 23.9% of the respondents are simply satisfied to have a good job. As for how to achieve their life goals, most of them prefer struggling to realize their dreams. The survey shows that the society is making progress and people’s life goals have become more practical.

A recent investigation shows that nowadays the young in China have more diversified goals than ever before. More than half of the respondents aim at making more money to buy themselves a car and a house. 44% of them want to improve their living standard while 43.3% of them hope to become rich. Besides, about a quarter of them wish to get a good job in the future. To achieve their goals, 71.9% of these young people said that they would struggle to overcome difficulties on their ways to success.

Keeping optimistic

We can know from the passage if we are optimistic we can conquer different kinds of difficulties in life when we meet them, and we will succeed in the end.

In my study, I will get discourage when I fail in an exam. I think I’m hopeless and can’t go to my ideal university. Whenever I am in bad mood, my teachers, especially my homeroom teacher, encourages me to be optimistic by saying the proverb “Nothing is too difficult if you put your heart into it.” They also tell me to study harder and give me good advice on my study. I believe the headmaster is correct to take this action. If a few students are always behaving poorly in class then it will negatively affect other students’ learning. As a result, many innocent studetns will suffer and they will fail to achieve their full potential. If the naughty students are removed from the class then the others can learn in peace. Hopefully the misbehaving students will learn their lessons and when they return their behaviour will be better.

If I was in charge of a school I would also be very strict with students who don’t behave well. I would first warn and then suspend students who interrupt the learning of others or disrespect their teachers. But I would also visit the poor student’s home and discuss the problem with his paents so we could find a solution.

题型特点

书面表达命题形式分类

1. 提纲式

提纲作文通常会罗列出一系列要点,要求考生根据所列要点来组织语言,按照一定的逻辑顺序正确地表达信息。

技巧:考生应按照所提供的提纲思路进行构思,并在提示上标出要点。要分析各点之间的逻辑关系,确定连接词、过渡句。要注意发挥自己的想象力,采用不同的表达方式,将要点完整地表达出来。

2. 图画式

(一) 写作步骤

1. 寻找关键词。文章的关键词可结合写作内容中的“就……”主题发表自己的看法的要求来确定。如,要求你“以约120词讲述一次你(或你的朋友)想家的经历”,那么所阅读的文章的主题词就应是homesick。

2. 确定主题句。文章的主题句首先可通过所给阅读材料的标题来确定,阅读材料的标题即是文章的论点或主题句。没有标题的文章,我们就尤应注意第一段(总起段)和最后一段(总结段),或每一段的第一句或第二句(总起句)和最后一句(总结句)。没有主题句的需要自己根据段落大意总结。

3. 重构主题句。概括的主题句要归纳总结性强,能涵盖后面所有的支撑句的内容。 4. 重组支撑句。支撑句的意义在逻辑上受制于主题句,可以是补充过程或者提供证据。 (二) 写作方法

1. 使用意义相同或相近的单词、短语或句式,或使用不同的句子结构表达同一意思,如改变语态、肯定变否定等,避免照搬原文句子。

2. 概括议论文时则要尽可能客观简要地转述阅读材料的观点。 概括对方观点首先是要转换视角,即以“第三人称”或“无人称”来概括。

3. 如果所给的阅读材料是一则故事,应该用最简练的语言来说明故事讲述了什么,不能拖泥带水讲细节,而且最好讲出故事给你的启示或其中的一个道理。

4. 如果是说明性或描述性短文,就必须用概括性的文字说明客观事物或现象。

特别提醒:不要照搬原文中的句子,而必须用自己的话来转述。概括可采用总→分的形式,即第一句话是主题句,清楚明白地告诉读者文章的主要内容(这句话举足轻重),后面的句子对主题句进行解释和支撑,主题之外的内容要毫不吝啬地予以删除。

陈述观点部分

(一)写作步骤

1. 阅读短文,找出文章的内容要点。

(1) 议论文:找出论点、论据和结论。其关键是找出主题句或结论句。若文中有一分为二的观点,两种观点都要概括,不要漏掉其中一方的观点。

(2) 记叙文:找出时间(when),地点(where),人物(who),做了什么事(what),结果怎么样(how)等五要素。其中,最重要的要点是某人(who)做了何事(what)。若是夹叙夹议的文章,还要加上作者的看法、观点、经验或感悟。

(3) 说明文和新闻报道:通常会有中心句(多在首段),写概要时注意要找出中心句,抓住关键词。对现象分析型说明文,要找出“现象”、“造成这种现象的原因”及“解决这种现象或问题的措施或建议”。

(4) 发言稿:通常会很明确地表明观点或态度,写概要时要从发言者的言语中明确作者的态度,把握作者的写作目的。或先概括每段大意,进而归纳全文主旨。

2. 过渡,引出自己的观点。写了摘要和过渡的话后,再引出自己的观点(赞成或反对)或引出类似的故事。

3. 例证,论证自己的观点。

(1) 议论文:在提出自己的观点后,就用具体的事例来论证自己的观点。

(2) 记叙文:编写与阅读文章主题相同但情节不同的故事(亲身经历或虚构)。

4. 结论,注意前后呼应。

5. 润色,使其锦上添花。

一查人称是否符合要求;二查语法方面的问题,包括用词、时态等细节方面的错误,确保语言规范;三查逻辑关系,看前后观点是否一致;四查是否使用一些较为高级的句型、结构和词语,如主从复合句、倒装句型、非谓语动词结构、with 短语结构、恰当的连接词、短语动词等。

(二) 写作方法

1. 分析写作内容所给各要点的意义,确定自己的观点。观点一定要鲜明、突出、不可模棱两可。一般情况下,所要简述的观点和感想要合乎人们的共识,尽量做到合情合理,避免偏激。

2. 掌握一定的技巧和方法,如:在内容上,要包含全部的提示要求;在语言表达上,要尽量使用高级词汇、短语、固定结构等,做到选词准确、用语规范、表达丰富多彩。

3. 在谋篇布局上,做到思路清晰,段落分明,层次清楚,文章首尾呼应,段落衔接连贯。篇章结构严谨,一气呵成,注意分段成文,以便层次分明。

4. 巧妙过渡和结尾,以起到妙笔生花、画龙点睛的作用。

Big or small, rejection affects us all. Harry Potter was rejected. So was The Twilight Saga. If authors J. K. Rowling and Stephenie Meyer hadn’t kept trying with publisher after publisher, we’d all have missed out on some great adventures.

Rejection doesn’t have to be about the big thing like not getting into your top college, not making the team, or not getting asked to the prom (舞会). One possible version

Everyone has experiences of being rejected. Although rejection makes us feel hurt, we can never avoid it, or we’ll certainly miss out on things we want.

Three years ago, I competed with my classmates for an important role in an English show to be held in my school. I was so eager to participate in it that I practiced hard in my spare time. However, I was turned down in the last round. I felt really disappointed and deeply hurt because my friends made it but I failed.

As far as I’m concerned, if we can deal with rejection well, it will have a minimal effect on us.
