论文题目：计算机数据挖掘领域论文摘要翻译实践报告 ——以ACM TRANSACTIONS ON DATABASE SYSTEMS期刊为例
摘要：本文为翻译实践报告。本次翻译实践选取的文本是国外计算机数据挖掘领域论文的摘要。所选文本来自ACM Transactions on Database Systems期刊,总计44篇论文摘要。笔者首先介绍了国内外人工翻译此类文体的研究现状,并通过词汇、句法两方面对论文摘要的文体特征进行了分析。然后以功能主义翻译目的论理论作为理论依据,以计算机数据挖掘论文摘要的翻译技巧和策略为切入点,结合科技英语的翻译原则,完成了翻译任务,力求实现翻译内容的一致性、规范性、专业性。并从本次翻译任务所涉及的国外计算机数据挖掘领域论文的文本内容中选取一定数量的例子,在功能主义翻译目的论的基础上,从词汇层面和句法层面展开分析,在翻译策略和翻译技巧的选择和应用等方面进行一定的探索和研究。最后,笔者说明了在翻译数据挖掘领域的论文摘要时,运用目的论是有优势的,并对本次翻译实践的经验和局限性进行了总结,希望这能为其他译者提供参考。
