论文题目:关于自然拼读法与国际音标的结合对小学生单词记忆影响的个案研究

摘要:对中国小学英语学习者而言,单词记忆是一项艰巨的任务,单一的国际音标教学法无法满足小学生提高单词记忆能力的需求。近年来,自然拼读法因其对小学生单词拼读和认知的重要影响而受到了越来越多中国学者的关注。本项研究以一名9岁的中国三年级学生,Catherine为研究对象,旨在结合自然拼读法与国际音标教学法的优点,试图找出自然拼读法与国际音标对小学生单词记忆的影响。通过观察,测试以及访谈的方法记录研究对象单词记忆效率的变化,单词记忆方法和对记单词态度的变化。研究结果表明,两种教学方法结合有利于Catherine提高其单词记忆速度和正确率,改变其记忆单词的方法,同时也使其不再惧怕背单词。而且,汉语拼音在Catherine学习自然拼读法与国际音标时有着明显的正向迁移作用。根据研究结果,作者提出中国环境下小学生英语词汇记忆的建议:教师可以同时采用自然拼读法和国际音标,帮助小学生建立语音意识,加强小学生的单词认知和解码能力,从而有助于他们能够更快地记忆单词。
