1.春雨

下雪了,雪下得真大,雪花儿像鹅毛一样从天上飘下来,落在山上、田野上、房子上、大树上,盖上一层,又盖上一层,全是白茫茫的了。外边儿静悄悄的,行人很少。

雪停了,太阳出来了。太阳光照在树上,亮得耀眼。山啊、田野啊、房子啊、大树啊,全变了样儿了,都穿上了白色外衣。校旁那两座小塔,都戴上了顶白帽子,比平常更好看了。下课后,同学们都到院子里来了。大家滑雪、扔雪球儿、堆雪人儿。他们的脸跟鼻子都冻得红红的,可还是玩得很起劲儿。

9.乌鸦和猪的“谅解”

乌鸦在一株树上,看见下面有一只浑身长满黑毛的猪。“哈哈!这个黑家伙,多难看呀!”乌鸦说。

猪向四处看了看,发现说话的是乌鸦,也就说:“讲话的,原来是一个黑得可怜的小东西!”

“你说谁?你也不看看你自己!”乌鸦气愤地说。“你也看看你自己吧!”猪也很气愤。它们争吵了一阵,就一道去池塘,证实谁更黑得难看。它们从水里照了照自己,又互相端详了一下,谁也不开口了。但乌鸦忽然高兴起来说:“其实,黑有什么不好看呢?” “我也以为黑是很好看的。”猪也快乐地说。

——这只是一点比喻,是说:我们应该警惕,不要因为彼此都有同样的缺点,就互相原谅,并且把缺点当作优点自称自赞起来。

10.三只老鼠

三只老鼠一同去偷油喝。到了油缸边一看,油缸里的油只有底下一点点,可是缸身太高,谁也喝不到。

于是它们想出办法:一个咬着另一个的尾巴,吊下去喝。第一只喝饱了,上来,再吊第二只下去喝……并且发誓,谁也不许存半点私心。

第一只老鼠最先吊下去喝,它在下面想:“油只有这么一点点,今天总算我幸运,可以喝一个饱。”

第二只老鼠在中间想:“下面的油是有限的,假如让它喝完了,我还有什么可喝的呢?还是放了它,自己跳下去喝吧!” 第三只老鼠在上面想:“油很少,等它俩喝饱,还有我的份吗?不如早点放了它们,自己跳下去喝吧!”

于是,第二只放了第一只的尾巴,第三只放了第二只的尾巴,都自管自抢先跳下去。结果它们都落在油缸里,永远逃不出来了。

1.寒号鸟

山脚下有一堵石崖,崖上有一道缝,寒号鸟就把这道缝当作自己的窝。石崖前面有一条河,河边有一棵大杨树,杨树上住着喜鹊。寒号鸟和喜鹊面对面住着,成了邻居。几阵秋风,树叶落尽,冬天快要到了。

有一天,天气晴朗。喜鹊一早飞出去,东寻西找,衔回来一些枯枝,就忙着垒巢,准备过冬。寒号鸟却整天飞出去玩,累了回来睡觉。喜鹊说:“寒号鸟,别睡觉,大好晴天,赶快垒巢。”

寒号鸟不听劝告,躺在崖缝里对喜鹊说:“傻喜鹊,不要吵,太阳暖和,正好睡觉。”

冬天说到就到,寒风呼呼地刮着。喜鹊住在温暖的窝里。崖缝里冷得厉害,寒号鸟冻得直打哆嗦悲哀地说:“哆啰啰,哆啰啰,寒风冻死我,明天就垒窝。”

第二天清早,风停了,太阳暖烘烘的,好像又是春天了。喜鹊来到崖缝前劝寒号鸟说:“趁天晴,快垒巢,现在懒惰,将来糟糕。” 寒号鸟还是不听劝告,伸伸懒腰,回答说:“傻喜鹊,真啰嗦,太阳暖和,得过且过。”

寒冬腊月大雪纷飞,漫山遍野一片白色。北风像狮子那样狂吼,河里的水结了冰,崖缝里冷得像冰窖。就在这严寒的夜里,喜鹊在温暖的窝里熟睡,寒号鸟却发出最后的哀号:“哆啰啰,哆啰啰,寒风冻死我,明天就垒窝。”

亮了,太阳普照大地。喜鹊在枝头呼唤邻居寒号鸟。可怜的寒号鸟在半夜里冻死了。

2.桂林山水(节选)

人们都说:“桂林山水甲天下。”我们乘着木船荡漾在漓江上,来观赏桂林的山水。

我看见过波澜壮阔的大海,玩赏过水平如镜的西湖,却从没看见过漓江这样的水。漓江的水真静啊,静得让你感觉不到它在流动;漓江的水真清啊,清得可以看见江底的沙石;漓江的水真绿啊,绿得仿佛那是一块无瑕的翡翠。船桨激起的微波扩散出一道道水纹,才让你感觉到船在前进,岸在后移。

我攀登过峰峦雄伟的泰山,游览过红叶似火的香山,却从没看见过桂林这一带的山。桂林的山真奇啊,一座座拔地而起,各不相连,像老人,像巨象,像骆驼,奇峰罗列,形态万千;桂林的山真秀啊,像翠绿的屏障,像新生的竹笋,色彩明丽,倒映水中;桂林的山真险啊,危峰兀立,怪石嶙峋,好像一不小心就会栽倒下来。

这样的山围绕着这样的水,这样的水倒映着这样的山,再加上空中云雾迷蒙,山间绿树红花,江上竹筏小舟,让你感到像是走进了连绵不断的画卷,真是“舟行碧波上,人在画中游”。

理解,在哪儿?

它无形无色,抽象得不可捉摸。然而,理解对于人生又是那么至关重要。无怪乎人人都渴望理解,人人都觉得自己被人理解得太少,而更多的是误解、曲解、费解,乃至大惑不解。人世间有好多事之所以隔靴搔痒,格格不入,就是由于缺乏理解呵。

理解尽管玄妙,但它却渗透在我们的生活之中…… 音乐会上的掌声;雪天送至的炭火;鞭辟入里的眉批;献给败者的花束;相见恨晚的碰杯;风雨同舟的伴侣……还有,未知你可曾留意;

小辈为了孤父寡母的晚晴,走进了婚姻介绍所; 来自对手的佩服,比同伴的喝彩更令人激奋; 世界上因为有了男人,女人才着意打扮。

有些人相处了一辈子,彼此仍不甚了解;有些人只需一个眼波,双方便心心相印。

有些人宁可要一个聪明的敌人,也不愿意要一个愚蠢的朋友。有些人一副铁石心肠,却被一声问候叩开了泪的闸门。这些,不正是理解在起作用吗?

理解事物是困难的,理解人更难——你得忍耐,探求,磨砺,斗争,甚至做出牺牲。理解——心的感应。这,便是我对理解的理解。

5.寓言说的就是你呀

古代的聪明人发明了一个天才的办法,把真实的情况告诉人而不使对方的面 子下不来。你们知道,他们在人们面前举着一面神奇的镜子,把各色各样的动物

和许多稀奇的东西都照出来,使人可以看出有趣而富有教育意义的图画。这些图

画叫做寓言,当这些动物做了些聪明事或傻事的时候,人们都可以站在它们的立

场设身处地地想一想:“寓言说的就是你呀!”这样,谁也不会觉得丢面子了。我

现在举一个例子吧:从前有两座大山,每座山顶上有一个古堡。在下边的山谷里

有一只饥饿的狗在跑。它一边跑,一边嗅,看看有没有什么耗子或鹤鸦可吃。这

时一个古堡里忽然吹起吃饭号来。狗立刻向山上跑,希望能得到一份饭食。不过

当它跑到一半路的时候,号子就忽然停止吹了。这时另一个古堡里又有号声响起

来。狗想:“在这里,恐怕我还没有跑到,大家就已经把饭都吃完了。可是在那

里大家还不过刚刚开始吃饭。”于是它就赶快跑下来,又向另一座山上跑去。不

过先前的号声又吹起来了,而第二个号声却忽然中止。狗马上又跑下来,向头 一座山上跑。它这样不停地两边跑,直到两个号声都没有了为止。当然两个古堡 里的饭也都吃完了。

现在请你想一想,古代的聪明人在这个寓言里表明了什么意思呢?那个在两

8.火烧云

晚饭过后,火烧云上来了,霞光照得小孩子的脸红红的。大白狗变成了红的了,红公鸡变成金的了,黑母鸡变成紫檀色的了。喂猪的老头儿在墙根靠着,笑盈盈地看着他的两头小白猪变成小金猪了。他刚想说:“你们也变了……”旁边走来一个乘凉的人对他说:“您老人家必要高寿,您老是金胡子了。”

天空的云从西边一直烧到东边,红彤彤的,好像是天空着了火。

这地方的火烧云变化极多。一会儿红彤彤的,一会儿金灿灿的,一会儿半紫半黄,一会儿半灰半百合色。葡萄灰,梨黄,茄子紫,这些颜色天空都有,还有些说也说不出来、见也没见过的颜色。一会儿,天空出现一匹马,马头向南,马尾向西。马是跪着的,像是在等着有人骑到它背上,它才站起来似的。过了两三秒钟,那匹马大起来了,马腿伸开了马脖子也长了,一条马尾巴可不见了。看的人正在寻找马尾巴,那匹马就变模糊了。忽然又来了一条大狗。那条狗十分凶猛,它在前边跑着,后边似乎还跟着好几条小狗。跑着跑着,小狗不知跑到哪里去了,大狗也不见了。接着又来了一条大狮子,跟庙门前的大石头狮子一模一样,也是那么大,也是那样蹲着,很威武很镇静地蹲着。可是一转眼就变了。要想再看到那头大狮子,怎么也看不到了。一时恍恍惚惚的,天空里又像这个,又像那个,其实什么也不像,什么也看不清了,可是天空偏偏不等待那些爱好它的孩子。一会儿工夫,火烧云下去了。

9.匆匆

燕子去了,有再来的时候;杨柳枯了,有再青的时候;桃花谢了,有再开的时候。但是,聪明的,你告诉我,我们的日子为什么一去不复返呢?——是有人偷了他们罢:那是谁?又藏在何处呢?是他们自己逃走了罢:现在又到了哪里呢?

我不知道他们给了我多少日子;但我的手确乎是渐渐空虚了。在默默里算着,八千多日子已经从我手中溜去;像针尖上一滴水滴在大海里,我的日子滴在时间的流里,没有声音,也没有影子。我不禁头涔涔而泪潸潸了。

去的尽管去了,来的尽管来着;去来的中间,又怎样地匆匆呢?早上我起来的时候,小屋里射进两三方斜斜的太阳。太阳他有脚啊,轻轻悄悄地挪移了;我也茫茫然跟着旋转。于是——洗手的时候,日子从水盆里过去;吃饭的时候,日子从饭碗里过去;默默时,便从凝然的双眼前过去。我觉察他去的匆匆了,伸出手遮挽时,他又从遮挽着的手边过去,天黑时,我躺在床上,他便伶伶俐俐地从我身上跨过,从我脚边飞去了。等我睁开眼和太阳再见,这算又溜走了一日。我掩着面叹息。但是新来的日子的影儿又开始在叹息里闪过了。在逃去如飞的日子里,在千门万户的世界里的我能做些什么呢?只有徘徊罢了,只有匆匆罢了;在八千多日的匆匆里,除徘徊外,又剩些什么呢?过去的日子如轻烟,被微风吹散了,如薄雾,被初阳蒸融了;我留着些什么痕迹呢?我何曾留着像游丝样的痕迹呢?我赤裸裸来到这世界,转眼间也将赤裸裸的回去罢?但不能平的,为什么偏要白白走这一遭啊? 你聪明的,告诉我,我们的日子为什么一去不复返呢?

啊!这风筝给静静的天空带来了几丝生气,使天空变得更加迷人,更有诗情画意了。

印度有个挑水工,每天都要到远远的小溪边去挑水。他有两只水罐,一只水罐有条裂缝,另一只水罐完好无损。完好的水罐总能把水满满地运到主人的家,而那只破损的水罐到达目的地时,里面只剩下半罐水了。这样日复一日过去了两年。

“人机对话”考试中第三部分为朗读短文。该项内容的测试目的为:测试考生的语音、句子重音、连读、不完全爆破、意群和停顿、升调和降调以及流畅程度。测试要求为:考生能比较流利、连贯地朗读一篇所学课文或难度略低于所学语言材料的短文。朗读短文评分标准一档满分为3分, 其要求为:能完整清晰地朗读短文, 语音语调正确, 朗读自然流利, 语速适中, 有节奏感。那么该如何按照测试目的来训练我们的学生, 并使学生的朗读能力符合一档评分标准呢?下面就中学生在英语短文朗读中存在的问题及教学中应采取的训练策略加以介绍。

二、朗读短文中存在的问题

学生在朗读短文时存在的问题主要有:

1. 单词的读音不规范。具体表现为以下几个方面:

(1) 识读音标能力差。在某些短文中存在有生词, 文章末尾给出了这些生词的音标, 但学生不能根据所给音标读准单词。如, resume/′rezju:mei/, 很多学生读成了/rezju:′mei/或/′rezju:m/, 出现了读错重音位置及丢音现象。

(2) 带有形式变化的单词读不准。如:cheated/′t蘩i:t Id/。学生往往读成/′t蘩i:t藜d/。

(3) 不能很好地识别the的读音。这一问题在学生日常短文朗读中显得尤为突出。如在the answer中, the应读成/奁I/, 而学生经常读成/奁藜/。能准确读出the在元音前读音的学生寥寥无几。

(4) /s/与/θ/, /z/与/奁/, /n/与/l/辨认不清, 且/n/与/l/受地方音影响严重。

2. 语速过快, 吞音现象严重。部分学生认为朗读时读得越快越好, 这往往造成发音不到位。

3. 句子停顿不准确, 破坏了意群。这种现象在学生读到较长句子时尤为明显。

4. 连读、升降调、不完全爆破没有被学生重视。

由于这些语音现象在汉语中无类似情况, 所以学生尤其不适应。如:take down:读成了/′te Ik藜da尬n/, 学生在本应不完全爆破的/k/音后加上了元音/藜/。再如, “A piece of chocolate?”“Yes?”“Really?”学生往往错误地读成降调, 从而破坏了作者所要表达的情感。

三、朗读短文的训练策略

学生朗读能力的提高不是一朝一夕的事, 它涉及最基础的音标的掌握, 长期朗读技巧的训练, 直至养成良好的朗读习惯。

1. 抓好音标教学, 提高单词读音的准确性

朗读要从最初的音标教学抓起。译林版《英语》七年级上册在书末English sounds部分对音标做了总结, 并在第1~7单元的Study skills部分专门安排了音标训练。教学中, 教师要有效利用这部分材料, 努力使学生过好音标关, 同时也要帮助学生掌握音标组合中的重音现象。如, nothing/′nΛθI誽/, 首先让学生读准/θ/音, 不能把该词读成/′nΛs I誽/。接着让学生明白音标组合中辅音与元音的搭配, 即/nΛ/和/θI誽/, 也就是音节划分 (译林版《英语》七年级下册第8单元Study skills部分对音节进行了介绍) 。然后让学生了解重音的作用, 即单词都有其固有的重音位置, 不能随便更改, 同一个单词, 重音位置不同, 其含义也不同 (译林版《英语》七年级下册第1单元Study skills部分对单词的重音位置做了训练) 。

这一切都需要教师多领读、多纠正, 学生多模仿、多体会。当学生对简单音标组合 (单音节词) 的读音有了感觉和一定认识后, 就可以试着让学生读一些较长的组合, 如双音节词、多音节词, 并让学生仔细体会, 教师再进行指导, 并不时鼓励他们, 使他们体会到成功的喜悦, 意识到根据音标识读单词的好处。当然, 随着音标教学的深入, 也要让学生掌握必要的拼读规则, 培养学生见词能读的能力。

2. 养成连读、不完全爆破习惯, 读出连续感、节奏感

当学生掌握好单词的读音后, 就可以进行单词间衔接读音的教学。如:连读, 不完全爆破等。

(1) 连读。这是较难掌握的一种技能, 学生对此常不太注意, 他们习惯于一个词一个词很清楚地分开读。教师应首先向学生讲明连读的规则, 接着示范读音, 示范时语速要慢, 有时可略夸张些。进行连读训练时应从短语开始。教师可以指导学生先将可以连读的单词用连读符进行连接, 然后领读, 接着学生反复跟读。如, look at it/′l尬k覸t It/, put it on/′p尬t It蘅n/。当学生逐渐熟悉连读后, 再在句子中进一步练习。此时, 教师应选择一些有代表性的句子, 如, There is a pair of shoes on the floor.Can I have a drink of tea?同时, 译林版《英语》七年级下册第2单元Study skills部分介绍了连读 (Linking sounds) 的四种情形, 教师可以充分利用教材内容训练学生的连读技巧。连读的感觉需要长期的训练和培养, 需要学生在朗读时多留意, 积极运用和操练, 直到这种技能变成自己的语言习惯, 在口语中运用自如。

(2) 不完全爆破。该语音现象也较难掌握, 往往会出现加元音/藜/或省音现象。因为有的学生会认为, 既然不完全爆破的音不读出来, 干脆就省略它, 这当然是错误的。舌头的位置要到位, 不送气, 不发出声音, 稍停顿一下, 紧接着发后面的音。不完全爆破的训练方法与连读相似。

3. 注重意群和停顿, 读出语意正确的句子

意群和停顿这一环节在教学中常被忽视。在学生朗读时经常发现他们因句子太长而把句子读破。教学中, 教师在领读课文或句型对话时, 可先分意群进行朗读, 然后再整句领读, 有意识地教会学生划分意群和停顿技巧。下面就以《初中英语听力口语自动化考试纲要 (试行) 》中朗读短文部分的两个句子为例, 如, UNICEF believes/that all children should have clean water and foods/so that they can be healthy, 这个句子可分为三个意群, 朗读中进行两次停顿;再如, Making a list of all the things they need to do/and planning when to do them/can help students organize their time, 这个句子也可分为三个意群, 朗读中要进行两次停顿。在训练中, 教师可有意挑选较长的、学生一口气难以读完的句子, 以迫使学生进行断句, 养成合理停顿的习惯。

4. 进行升、降调训练, 读出优美的句子

语调应是较易领悟但很难自然读准的语音现象。能准确、自然、习惯地读出升调的学生甚少。笔者认为, 语调教学要和句型教学相结合。句型教学是初中阶段英语教学的核心, 教师结合教材中出现的句型进行语调教学是十分必要的。因为句型与语调有着相互依存的关系, 语调体现于句型中, 每种句型也都有其基本的语调。结合句型进行语调教学, 在操练中体现语调表达的含义, 慢慢让学生建立语感。译林版《英语》七年级下册第4单元Study skills部分对句子的升降调做了介绍, 如, Is the zoo far away from our school? (↗) ;What can you see in the park? (↘) ;Sunshine Shopping Mall? (↗) 。注意不要在语音教学的最初阶段就把各种语调句型介绍给学生。不通过语言材料进行练习, 而单纯讲解语调知识, 只会让学生失去兴趣, 记不住、学不好。通过观察发现, 语调中较难掌握的就是升调现象。很多学生其实知道何处需要升调, 但苦于对升调的感觉不适应, 怕读不好让别的同学取笑而不敢读, 久而久之便不顾及升调现象了。教师应认真引导, 消除学生的害羞心理, 让他们体会到升调的优美。当然, 更重要的还在于在句型操练中让学生多模仿, 多体会, 养成语感, 形成习惯, 时间久了就适应了。

篇4:经典短文的深度阅读

短文,因其短小,学生在阅读中得到的信息量相对就少。而事实上,有些经典短文是很有些深层内涵的,可是对于初中学生来说,要他们在那样短小的篇幅中自行挖掘出深层涵义来,是有难度的,这就特别需要教师在教学中给学生适当的引导和方法指导。

在一次教研活动中,有幸聆听到一堂精彩的《好嘴杨巴》示范课,对于短文教学颇有启发。以下是该课对主题挖掘的片段描述。

案例描述

师:好嘴好在哪?请从文中找出相关语句来赏析。

生:“小人不知道中堂大人不爱吃压碎的芝麻粒”。可是找不出合适的词来概括。

师:改成“小人不知道中堂大人将压碎的芝麻看成脏土了”好吗?

生:不行,那样显得中堂大人孤陋寡闻。

师:改成“小人不知道中堂大人不爱吃茶汤”好吗?

生:不好,那样就意味着下面的人办事不力。

师:那么,杨巴说“小人不知道中堂大人不爱吃压碎的芝麻粒”有什么妙处?

生:他主动把责任推到自己身上,给中堂大人台阶下。

师:可见杨巴有什么特点?好嘴好在哪?用一个词概括。

生:机敏过人,情急之下能有这么快的反应。(教师板书“机敏过人”)

生:巧于辞令。中堂大人发怒,本该下属站出来说。当时,为什么当官的不说?不会说了,一个比一个糊涂,吓懵了。(教师微笑认可,板书“巧于辞令”。)

师(故作糊涂):当官的其实也挺聪明的,是他们举荐杨家茶汤的,知道这两兄弟又会做又会说。究竟当时那些当官的为什么不会说了?

生:怕丢官。

生:同时也是糊涂了,反衬出杨巴的机敏过人。当初是为了讨好中堂大人,为了自己可能升官,不想中堂大人会生气。

师:那么这一切其实是谁造成的?

生(细读文章,思考):中堂大人。

师:何以见得?

生:第8段的动作、神态描写:“正要尝尝这津门名品,手指尖将碰碗边,目光一落碗中,眉头忽地一皱,面上顿起阴云,猛然甩手‘啪地将一碗茶汤打落在地”。可见,李中堂是一个武断、暴戾的人,他孤陋寡闻,误将碎芝麻当成脏土,还因此发火。此时杨巴居然敢站出来说,可见杨巴的临危不惧。

师:同学们说得太好了。(板书“临危不惧”。)

设想一下,如果当时官员和杨巴都不说,都僵持下去,结果会怎样?

生:中堂大人肯定会脱口而出“脏土”,到时闹的笑话就更大,场面就更不好收场了。所以一定要赶在中堂大人之前说,可见杨巴的思维敏捷。

齐读杨巴全话。

师:“‘大人不计小人过,饶了小人这次,今后一定痛改前非!说完又一阵响头。”杨巴有错吗?

生:没错。

师:没错为何认错?

学生讨论明确:无罪而揽罪,未错而认错,是因为:一,给中堂大人面子,给他台阶下;二,生意场上练出来的;三,正如文中第四段所说,“到了需要逢场作戏、八面玲珑、看风使舵、左右逢源的时候,就更指着杨巴那张好嘴了。”可见,杨巴的圆滑,是社会给逼的,动荡的时局、复杂的人际关系,扭曲了自己,适应了时局。 适应

生(思考,发现):他们都是为了某一个阶层而说,而杨巴是为了自己的生存而说,所以称为“俗世奇人”。亏得有了这巧嘴,若没有这巧嘴,别说赏赐,恐怕他们从此再难在京城立足,甚至性命都可能不保。

生:这样看来,杨巴比那些“名嘴”更可怜更可悲。

师:看来,杨巴的巧嘴不是天生的,而是这残酷的生存环境给逼出来的。如果大家去读整部《俗世奇人》,你会发现,书中的很多人物都是相似的,他们有着惊世绝技,而这绝技往往是他们为了生存迫于无奈而炼成的。同学们,现在,你在杨巴的“逢场作戏、八面玲珑、看风使舵、左右逢源”背后,还读出什么来了?
