八年级上学期的英语学习,可以看作是学生初中英语学习的一个转折期,学生可能进入两个完全不同的发展轨迹:一、开始具备一定的英语自学能力,形成高效的英语学习方式,从而使得今后一生的英语学习进入一个快车道,越学越轻松;二、学生开始感觉英语越来越难学,单词更加无法识记,文章更加无法理解,英语学习异常枯燥,最终全面放弃英语学习。因此,八上英语的教学,是关系到学生初中阶段英语学习成败的关键。而八上英语的期末复习工作,我们英语老师有必要认真对待,以下谈几点20xx年冬季我在自己两个班级里所做的几项工作,仅供大家参考:

一、常规复习

单词方面,按照一个单元或两个单元的顺序,进行听写,是很有必要的。听写的时候,如果是给出中文意思的,不妨增加改变形式的要求。例如:听写“健康”,可以要求学生写出“形容词”形式(healthy);听写“sleep”,要求学生写出“过去式”(slept)。这样做的一个最直接的好处是,学生在准备次日的单词听写的时候,会利用同桌或周边同学,自行进行不同单词的不同形式的预先听写或猜测。这种听写方式,往往可以大大提高学生在“单词拼写”这一题型上的得分率,降低由于没有用单词的“正确形式”而导致的失分率。

每个单元的听力材料与短文的熟读,同样重要。个别可能会成为期末考试“书面表达”题型相关主题的短文,则有必要让学生背诵。在理解的基础上,进行英语短文背诵,应该可以看作是学生语言输入的一种直接方式。也许可能显得死板,但对于没有更多交流方式与更好学习途径的普通城镇或农村学生来讲,却不得不作为无奈且高效的学习方式之一了。

期末试卷的精选精练,也是我们英语老师应该做到的。据我所知,部分学校的英语老师只能统一使用某一份试卷,不允许额外增加学生的课后作业负担,而另一些学校则出现了英语老师随意加大期末复习试卷量的情况。我想两者均不可取,最合理的`做法应该是每个英语老师根据自己班级学生的英语学习实际,确定期末试卷的量与难度,与此同时,广泛收集相关素材,精挑细选,重新整合出具备高度针对性的期末复习专项训练卷与综合卷,并尽量以考试的方式进行模拟测试,测试之后应立即进行精细分析,把每个语言点都讲解透澈,落实到位。

二、中考试卷

最近几年来,全国各地的中考试卷难度均出现较大幅度的降低。根据我所收集的全国各地的中考试卷来看,浙江省可能是全国范围内英语中考难度最低的。正因为如此,八年级上学期的期末复习工作中,我史无前例地增加了让八年级学生提前一年半做全国各地的中考标准卷的做法。具体的操作方式是这样的:

1.尽可能多地收集到全国各省市的英语中考标准卷及标准答案。

2.精挑细选,尽量选择超越八年级上学期教学大纲要求少的中考卷,删除最前面的听力与最后面的书面表达题目,以及个别过于深奥的短文阅读题等,这样提供给学生的只是一份“20xx年英语中考标准卷精选”,分值可能只有60—80分之间,那么剩余分值以完全送分形式加给学生。

3.利用正课,进行全班测试,让学生提前体验中考的这种紧张气氛,然后利用两人小组进行比赛,看在同样时间范围内,同样的英语基础情况下,谁会将尽量多的分数考到手。由于题量减少,所以一般一节课45分钟的时间,学生还是可以完成这样一份中考试卷精选卷的。

4.对于评分后的试卷,进行部分题目的精细讲解,个别涉及到八下或九上内容的语言点,大胆地进行最表层的点拨或分析,对于完形填空与阅读理解题型中的篇章中所体现出来的人文精神,进行必要的诠释与分析。

总之,我想如果我们本着精益求精、高度为学生负责的精神,充分显现我们对于学生初中三年英语学习的大教育观,全盘考量,全局考虑,虽然只是短短的两、三个星期的期末复习时间,也许我们英语老师可以多管齐下,争取八上期末英语复习效率的最大化。

八年级教学已经结束了,回顾一学期的教学,八年级的教材形式上发生了变化。七年级的课本没有project(活动设计)这个项目。而八年级课本增加了project,并且增多了阅读理解部分。其次八年级的语法知识点增多,难度也有所提高,对学生的口语表达能力和阅读能力都有新的要求,这就对教师的要求有了新的提高。

一.教师在教学的过程中首先要把握重难点。我认为这是教学中对教师最重要的要求。如果无法很好的把握重难点。则会对重点知识的讲授蜻蜓点水,导致学生也无法分清重难点。学生在学习的过程中把大量的时间花费在零散知识上,而忽视了重之之重。教师为了更好的把握重难点就要认真的研读教材,仔细研究教学参考,并且做好每个步骤的教学反思,从同学们的错误中反馈自己的失误,不断地摸索和探索。

二.其次语法讲解一定要清楚,透彻。在讲解重点语法的过程中,教师要多举例子,并且要学生造句子,不能光停留在枯燥,抽象的讲解过程中。

三.应加强学生的对话强度,鼓励不开口说英语的学生开口。有些学生是对自己不自信,是因为曾经对话的过程中,出现失误却被老师尖刻的言语刺伤,所以当学生出现错误的时候应微笑着让他坐下,然后再纠正错误。有些同学的对话可能会脱离现实生活,但只要开口说英语就要鼓励。

四.在教学过程中应以学生为主体。整个课堂是学生在开口说而不是老师在干巴巴的讲授。尤其是教材的最后一部分,阅读部分。要使同学们在默读的前提下做课本上要求的练习题,也可以确定几个话题,学生用英语进行讨论,锻炼他们用英文思考的能力,运用所学语言的能力。

五.八年级英语教学单词仍然是基础。我个人认为应该打好学生的单词基础。在讲授的过程中可以让同学们记它们的同义词及反义词。并且让同学们自己造句子

六.培养学生们的课文背诵能力。严格要求学生要背诵下来课文。这样可以培养他们的英语语感。

在初中教学中, 大部分教材是以单元为基本组成形式的, 英语教材也不例外。人教版《英语 (新目标) 》教材在单元内设置了性质相同、形式相异的学习活动, 教材的编排体系遵循传授知识、巩固知识、运用知识的规律。教师在单元教学的过程中, 需要在一定的连续时间内完成多种具有内在联系的教学活动, 从而使教学目标得以实现 (张华2000) 。人教版《英语 (新目标) 》教材主要围绕英语语言、英语思想以及英语文化等内容组成不同的单元, 不同单元具有一定的递进性, 从而使学生通过系统性的学习获取一定的语言知识, 并不断增强学生的综合语言运用能力。人教版《英语 (新目标) 》教材的每个单元都设置了单元标题句, 学生通过单元标题句可以了解该单元的主要教学目标以及主要内容。因此, 在人教版《英语 (新目标) 》教材的教学过程中, 教师需要正确解读和拓展单元标题句, 只有这样, 才能更好地领悟教学目标, 对教学活动进行更合理的安排 (李晓蓉2013) 。

三、解读和拓展单元标题句的理论依据

在我国现阶段的初中英语教学中, 从教学资源研发、教材编写、课堂教学到教学评价都必须以《英语课程标准》 (以下简称《标准》) 为基本依据, 体现该课程的学习目标以及性质。因此, 初中英语教师必须深入研究《标准》, 了解其所包含的教学目标以及相关理念 (丁振月2011) 。现行的《标准》明确规定, 初中英语教学以培养学生的综合语言运用能力为目的, 提倡通过体验、交流、合作等方式学习相关知识。同时, 《标准》制订了分等级的培养目标, 其中所规定的第三、四、五级的口语教学目标分别为:能与他人沟通自己较为熟悉的话题;能与他人沟通生活中常见的话题并给出简单的点评;能与他人交流自己生活中的各种话题并能清晰地陈述自己的观点。人教版《英语 (新目标) 》教材在《标准》的指导下安排具体内容, 所有的话题都是通过一种概念性的单元标题句呈现的, 在单元标题句后安排一些具有一定功能的语言项目以及语言结构。

传统的初中英语教材的编写以“结构+功能”为基础, 课堂教学以句式操练为主。随着教育的不断发展以及研究的不断深入, 教育界逐渐认识到以对话形式模拟实际交际对提高英语教学效果具有非常积极的意义。这种教学思想在我国初中英语教学中不断发展, 并取得了较好的应用效果。上文中提到的“结构+功能”的教材编写思想应运而生, 同时成为人教版《英语 (新目标) 》教材编写的主要思想。人教版《英语 (新目标) 》教材突破传统的英语实践观念, 重视我国现阶段初中英语教学的实际状况, 强调语言的社会功能 (邵燕楠、黄燕宁2013) 。

1、通过每个单元逐一、细致地复习,使学生将本学期学到的知识系统化,让学生熟练地掌握基本的单词、词组和句型。

2、通过背诵、默写、做练习、归纳总结等不同的方法,调动学生复习的主动性和积极性,养成课前认真默写,课上专心听讲,考后积极反思,寻找缺漏等良好的习惯。

二、复习内容

在复习过程中我准备以听说读写为主要的形式,以英语基础知识为主要内容,指导学生在听说读写的过程中系统地梳理所学知识,从单词到词组到句子到短文,全面把握所学内容。前五单元内容比较简单,而且在期中考试时已经复习了,所以课堂上不为主体,只是课后布置复习任务,每天半页单词加上SectionA或B的短语、句子,有布置就有检测,每天要拿出10分钟时间检查作业内容,不过关的同学要重新过关。

复习重点放在后五个单元上,在复习后五单元时,一直贯穿着重要时态(现在完成时、现在完成进行时、一般将来时)和主要句子结构(反意疑问句、感叹句、提建议)来进行。

1、指导学生在语境中复习句子,让学生分清日常交际用语的运用场合。

2、根据句子类型指导学生在比较中复习句子。

3、指导学生在表演中运用句子,使复习课同样生动有趣。

4、掌握GrammarFocus里的所有句子。要把单词、词组、句子和短文作为一个有机整体,在复习过程中将它们紧密结合起来,合理安排教学内容,提高学生整体运用知识的能力。

三、复习的主要策略:

1、狠抓单词、短语。把学生分为6人一小组,要求学生熟记单词,每个同学每天在小组长那里默写一单元单词(C层学生只默写黑体单词),教师负责督促检查。26号举行单词检测,成绩计入素质报告册;另外,6人总单词数在前3名的小组(共五组)假期里免抄单词的作业。

My problem started after I went to a boarding school. I was only 14, and at first I missed my family a lot. I often called them and cried on the phone. But after two weeks, I found I enjoyed being with my classmates at school.

One night, I was sitting in my kitchen half listening as my 15-year-old brother Tommy fought with my 12-year-old brother Kevin. I didn’t notice when Kevin ran up the stairs with hurt on his face.

因此本文通过对两个学期英语期末考试试卷进行统计分析, 以用于指导该门课程教学的有关研究工作。通过我们的分析, 力求为高职高专英语课堂教学有效性的探索提供更多的信息, 以便更详细的了解学生的学习情况, 增强外语教学的针对性, 进一步深化外语教学改革。

一、成绩比较及分析

(一) 成绩整体比较及分析。

3. 词汇, 完型, 翻译及写作能力未见有明显提高, 可见我们对这几方面能力培养所采取的教学方式还不够科学, 效果不够理想, 没有达到预期的目标, 依然有待改进。
