论文题目：医学期刊摘要中名物化现象的语法隐喻分析

摘要：名物化是英语中一个非常普遍的语法现象,韩礼德将语法隐喻转换分为十三种类型,其中有五种涉及名物化。名物化是创造语法隐喻的主要手段,代表着认知朝事物性发展的方向。随着社会的高速发展与国际检索系统的出现,医学期刊摘要逐渐成为一种信息高度密集的相对独立文体,为广大医学类读者查阅资料提供了便利。以往的研究关注名物化涉及语言结构的变化,例如法律、新闻和政治语篇中名物化的特征。目前来看,关于名物化在医学期刊摘要中分布与功能的研究不多,存在理据不明、例子分析不具体等问题。基于此,本文尝试从系统功能语法中的语法隐喻理论角度出发,从《自然》和《柳叶刀》这两份国外权威期刊中抽取了60篇摘要作为语料,对医学期刊摘要中的名物化现象及其在语篇中的功能进行阐释和分析。研究过程如下:先确定语料中名物化的实现形式,再进行数量和百分比以呈现名物化分布特点,最后结合具体实例进行详细说明。研究发现:（1）五大类名物化现象都能在医学期刊摘要中找到。名物化的高频次出现是医学期刊摘要的重要特点。（2）其中,“性质-实体”和“过程-实体”两种名物化出现的频次最高,分别占17.22%和78.63%。过程名词化可以缩短摘要中小句的长度使其变得简洁,性质名词化可以使表达变得更加正式与客观。其余三种名物化由于转换过程复杂,在医学期刊摘要中鲜有出现。（3）名物化在医学期刊摘要中主要承担三大纯理功能:从概念元功能角度上看,名物化有助于提升小句词汇密度与信息承载量,使摘要变得更加正式与简洁;从人际元功能角度上看,名物化可以提高摘要客观程度,并帮助作者隐含个人立场,使得摘要客观性得以增强;从篇章元功能角度看,名物化可以实现篇章连贯,使语篇更完整,转移新信息的位置,有助于语句中的衔接。本研究丰富了名物化以及医学期刊摘要的研究,并提供了一些撰写摘要的指导建议。
