1)用文字描述图表，客观解释图表中所传递的信息，并找出某种规律或趋势;

2)就图表中所反映的某种趋势或问题分析其原因或后果。

二、写作要领

图表作文着重说明事实，常常是通过对图表中所反映的具体数据的说明、分析、比较，对某种事物或现象的事实或变化情况等加以说明，并提出结论或看法。因此，图表作文常常采用议论文体的写作方法。写好图表作文，关键在于能否读懂图表中所提供的信息，把握各信息间的联系，用准确流畅的语言把这一信息表达出来，并就这一信息发表自己的看法。

三、写作步骤

写图表作文时，要注意遵循以下步骤：

1) 认真分析图表的含义，弄清图表中所含的信息及不同信息间的关系;

2) 确定文章的主题思想，构思出文章的基本框架，筛选出能说明图表主题思想的典型数据;

3) 编列文章的提纲;

4) 根据文章的提纲，将各段的提纲内容扩展成段落，然后将各个段落组成文章，注意段与段之间的衔接与过渡;

5) 检查与修改。

四、篇章结构

写图表作文时，常采用三段式的谋篇方式。文章的第一段往往分析图表中的数据变化反映什么问题或趋势，概述图表所揭示的信息。第二段分析造成这一问题或趋势的原因。第三段则展望未来的情况或提出解决问题的办法或建议。这一结构可以简单地表述为：

以文字的形式还是以图表、图画的形式出现都浅显易懂。出题人尽量让我们不会因题目中出现生词或难以理解的短语而影响正常发挥。

2.大小作文写作套路有不同

小作文写作获得高分需要在格式、语言这两个方面下功夫。以应用文来举例，首先称呼要用敬称。正文格式为首段开头空四个字母，段落之间不空行，现在流行的格式，每段开头不空格，但是各段之间空一行。语言主要注意用语的场合和习惯，要注意针对不同场合使用不同语言，使交流得以进行。另外，考生也要注意不同的应用文有不同的用语。中公考研专家建议考生对某些应用文的格式和习惯用语，应该加以熟悉和背诵，以便运用自如。

大作文主要在结构上下功夫，一般都是三段论。第一段描述现象，将作文给出的图表或者其他提示用自己的语言重复一遍，要多用长句子和不常见的单词，这样判卷老师会觉得你比较特别。第二段，分析现象，运用逻辑思维的方法分析上述现象产生的原因，考生可以先用中文在试卷上列出自己分析的几点原因，然后把它翻译成你自己认为比较优美的英文句子，第二段就基本结束了。第三段，提出个人见解，或者解决方法，并点题。基本上所有的大作文可以按照这个套路来写，中公考研也建议大家这么写，但是模版要慎用。近些年来英语作文模版的泛滥，已经导致了判卷老师的审美疲劳，大家用模版会适得其反，要用也最好用自己总结的独一无二的。

3.小作文的备考技巧

应用文写作要求考生在三个方面完成要求：一要注意把握信息点;第二是把握语言点，内容要十分明确，不要出现过多的错误;第三是要注意格式和语言。应用文的字数要求是100个字，大概8句话，8句话怎么分配呢?第一段就写一句话，第一句话表明你写信的基本内容：如果是询问信息的话，就说你写这封信要询问以下几个问题;如果是投诉，就说写这封信是要表达对什么东西的不满;如果是请求信，就说写这封信想要请求什么东西就可以了。总之，就一句话，简明扼要。然后，用简练的语言表达清楚题目要求表达的内容和信息。最后一句话，就是一个礼貌的结尾。

4.大作文的备考技巧

大作文的写作一般会给考生写作提纲，或图表、图画，或图文并茂。命题方式虽然多样，但题目涉及面往往是考生比较熟悉的内容，目的是测定考生语言的实际应用能力。要求表达清楚，文字连贯，中心突出，内容丰富，句式多变，句子结构和用词正确。

语言的应用能力不可能一蹴而就，必须厚积薄发，必须经过长期的实践锻炼。如何提高英语写作能力呢?一是要背大量的优秀范文，整段整篇地背，并转换为自己的语言，写作时才能随心所欲地支配。考试时避免套用以前死记硬背的几个范文，把一些不达意的词堆积在一起，没有统一性，无法很好地表现主题。另外，多动手才能提高笔下功夫，才能保证在考场上顺利写作。

2017年考研英语作文备考方法分析

英语写作是大多考研学生的短板，为帮助2017考研学生提升英语写作水平，凯程老师从考研大纲要求出发，直击重点词汇、句型，引导同学们正确把握英语写作走向，使同学们正式考试时面对作文题目“有话可说”，“有料可抖”。

英语写作大纲要求

考研英语写作分为大作文和小作文两部分。大作文主要以情景、图表、图画等短文写作为主，字数要求一般为：英语一在160～220字之间，英语二在150字以上。而小作文一般以私人和公务信函、备忘录、摘要、报告等应用文为主，且英语一和英语二都要求字数在100字左右。

考研学生想要提高英语作文成绩，必须达到最基本的要求：首先语法、拼写、标点正确，用词恰当;其次要遵循文章的特定文体格式，不能一团麻往上铺;此外，合理组织文章结构，使文章内容衔接 、连贯;同时根据写作目的和特定读者，选择恰当语域。

小作文段落构建

小作文一般也就是应用文写作，大致包括建议信、申请信、致歉信、咨询信、感谢信、投诉信、邀请信、推荐信等。

小作文在正文创作时，最好分三个环节构建 。首先，用2～3句开门见山，表达意图 ;然后用8～9句陈述内容 ;最后再用1～2句点明主题即可，这里可以使用常见的“套话”。

需要注意的是，正文创作时字数必须达到100字左右，不能太长也不能太短，否则容易被扣分。 此外文章必须切题，明确要求了推荐就要写推荐，感谢就要感谢，切勿胡乱抄袭所谓的“模板”。同时语域要合适，正式要用正式语言和词汇，不能动不动就使用类似“hi”这种 ，会让阅卷老师觉得太过随意。

大作文段落构建考研大作文一般主要以情景、图表、图画等短文写作为主。

图表类短文主要包括饼图、表格、柱形、曲线等。情景和图画类则多以话题形式出现，比如2009年网络的远与近，2010年的火锅文化，2015年的手机影响等等。因此，提醒同学们平时多关注社会热点以及与社会发展相关的话题。

大作文正文部分，建议采用如下图所示的三段式构建。

大作文写作需要注意的事项包括：语域要合适，正式要用正式语言，像词汇、口语及缩略形式就不得在文中出现。对于图画作文一般为说明文和议论文，必须做到有理有据，逻辑清晰。此外，避免过多使用小单句，尽量使用长句或者从句;词汇句式做到多样，切记不要使用题干给出的提示词，这样很容易被扣分;尽量采用“总分总”格式，并正确使用逻辑连接词。

在考研备考英语的Part A 小作文部分，书信是其考查的重点所在。书信种类繁多，而且每种书信又各有其自己的要点内容，因此内容繁杂、量大、易混淆，也就成了同学们备考的难点所在。在前面我们就曾以题目为例，详细地解析过考研备考英语小作文中常考的15中书信：即建议信、投诉信、咨询信、感谢信、祝贺信、道歉信、慰问信、申请信、求职信、推荐信、介绍信、辞职信、邀请信、拒绝信和证明信的写作方法及其注意事项。对此，大家务必要仔细总结和研究，理清各种书信的写作思路。

考研备考英语的历年真题中，在应用文部分除了考查最多的各种书信之外，英语一还曾于2010年考察过一类告示文章，即通知。因此，今天本文就对这种考查频率较低但又有可能会考的应用文进行深入的分析。

通知，英文中称为notice，是向特定对象告知或转达有关事项、让其知道或执行的应用文。正式的通知使用文体较正式，要求结构严谨、用词确切。

一般来说，在考研备考英语中，通知主体部分的写作可按照三个步骤进行，即“三步走”策略。接下来就以题目为例，具体解析一下这个策略。

例题：

Directions：

You are supposed to write for the Postgraduates’ Association a notice to recruit volunteers for an international conference on globalization. The notice should include the basic qualifications for applicants and the other information you think is relative.

You should write about 100 words on ANSWER SHEET 2.

Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use “Postgraduates’ Association” instead. Do not write the address.

题目所给的规定情景是要求你为研究生会写一封通知，内容是为一场有关全球化的国际会议招聘志愿者。通知应包含应聘者的基本条件要求以及其他相关必要信息。

根据上面所提的通知写作“三步走”策略，具体操作如下：

首段：So and so has the honor to announce that the Postgraduates’ Association is badly in need of volunteers for the international conference about globalization to be held from July 1st to 10th at Tsinghua University.

一般来说，书信中第一段的主要内容就是表明自己的写信目的。同样通知也不能例外，所以第一段依然还是表明自己写本封通知的目的。在所用句型表达上，则可开门见山、直入主题，也可用So and so has the honor to announce that…..来表达。除此之外，在所要标明的目的中，若涉及一些活动或其它并不广为人知的专有名词，则需进行简单介绍，主要包含时间地点等等。

中段：In the first instance, the applicants are requested to speak English fluently and are expected to be active and open-minded. In addition, the applicants with the experience of being a part-time volunteer in several international events are preferred. 第1页共1页

第二段中，就是要写明通知的主要内容了。本题要求写的通知是招聘通知，那么主要内容自然就是对应聘者的条件要求了，对此题目中也给出了相应规定。此部分中，若条件不只一个，则需分条陈述，做到清晰简洁。至于具体的条件要求，则需考生自己自由发挥，但是需要记住的是要逻辑合理、严谨。

本段中，紧接前面内容，列玩具体的条件要求后，就要进行结尾了。作为一封招聘通知，结尾中自然是要向通知对象说明投递简历材料的途径并表示欢迎了。

在考研备考英语的应用文写作中，类似的首段或尾段的套用句式比较丰富，大家需要在复习过程中进行有意的积累，并在写作中加以运用：
