《I’m watching TV 》教学反思

在教学初二 Unit 1 : I’m watching TV?时,我充分利用情景图,把学习内容和生活有效的整和起来。让学生在看,听,读的同时,会说,敢说,能灵活的运用所学知识 , 注意引导学生的口语表达能力,使学生的创新能力,合作探究能力得到发展 。

这堂课的重点是让学生较好地掌握“现在正在进行时”的句法。从传统的教学来看,会把重点放在语法的教学上,这对于四年级的`学生来说,是很枯燥的,而且容易让孩子失去学习英语的兴趣。因此我在教学过程中,有意识地淡化语法教学,抓住孩子们好动,爱表现的特点,充分利用body language,让生边做边说,在反复操练中,体会What are you doing? I’m… What is he/she doing? He’s/She’s…What are they doing? They’re…这些句型的意义,使学生顺利地完成了学习任务。

为了使学生愉悦、顺利地完成学习任务,我首先通过“Free talk”引出学过的知识“ play football/sing a song/fly a kite…”等动词短语,然后通过“Game”的形式,直观地巩固这些短语。这两个环节的设计直接为新知识的学习做好了铺垫。接着教授句型“What are you doing? I’m… What is he/she doing? He’s/She’s…”并通过practice、listen to the tape、sing songs、language expanding等环节加强对新知识的巩固。根据小学生的生理、心理特点,在课堂教学中,我紧紧围绕教学目标,运用多种活泼的教学形式:Listen and do, Act, groupwork/pair work,Competition,Listen to the tape and follow,Show, Interview 等,在玩的过程中乐于动脑、动口,整个课堂教师不再是灌输者、教说者,而是组织者、引导者,学生在玩中产生说的欲望,从而达到了创造性地运用语言的目的。这样可以营造一个宽松的课堂氛围,学生获得相当大的主动权,提高了教学质量,引领学生走进新知识的殿堂。其中探究的学习方式,提高学生主动参与学习的过程。课堂中没有教师生硬的讲解与演示,而是让学生在组内讨论交流,在动手动口中体会和掌握知识。学生真正成为学习的主人,而教师则是学生活动的组织者、引导者与合作者。

总之,身为一线课改教师,深受课改新思潮的冲击,我将关注学生在每一节课的学习过程,关注他们投入了多少情感,洒下了多少努力,迸发了多少创新,启迪了多少想象,提高了多少能力,激发了多少兴趣,获得了多少成功。所以,本节课我以“学生的发展为本”设计。在这样的教学设计中,学生不光学到了知识,其动手能力、交流合作技巧也得到了发展。

材依据:人教版七年级下册第五单元《I’m watching TV.》Section A Period1

设计思想

本单元的话题是谈论谁正在干什么。要求通过学习有关的短语及句型掌握现在进行时的定义及用法,因此,我设计了通过老师及学生做某些动作而导入新的时态的方式。这样学生很自然得就将明白了这个单元将要讨论的话题。对于教材的使用我设计将活动通过小组合作及表演练习的方式对所学的新句型进行理解应用。一方面使所有学生都有机会进行说的练习,另一方面也使学生在问答的过程中能及时纠正错误,尤其是前忘不be后加ing . 在教学过程中,关注学生的生活实际和生活体验,树立以学生为本的思想,提倡学生参与、体验、亲身实践、独立思考、合作探究,从而实现教学方式和学习方式的转变。

教学分析

本节课围绕着一个话题“谈论现在正在进行或发生的动作”来展开教学活动,主要的教学内容是现在进行时。本节课紧扣教材,而又脱离课本,重新对教材进行编排。先通过描绘图片中人们的活动来学习词汇: doing homework, watching TV, cleaning, reading, eating dinner, talking on the phone……并通过问答“人们正在做什么”来学习句型:What are you doing? I’m watching TV . 并用同桌合作的方式进一步加强句型的操练。然后通过听力训练和写作训练来加强练习和巩固。

Step1: Warming up and lead-in

(1). I show a basketball and say: look, I like playing basketball. I’m playing basketball now.(I make the action of playing basketball)

T: I’m talking now.

I’m running.

When I make the actions,I ask some students to guess the meaning of the sentences.

(通过老师边做动作边说句子,引出本课的内容,且让学生明了现在进行时的句子构成及表达的意思,还能引起学生对本课的兴趣。)

Step 2.

Match the words and the activities.

I show the pictures in 1a.Then, I ask questions:

----What’s he doing??(Picture 1)

----He’s making a telephone call.

Ask the students to turn to page 25.Ask and answer just like that, and finish 1a.(Ss can guess the meaning of doing homework, watching TV, cleaning, eating dinner and reading.)

The Ss read these V-ing words after the teacher.

Tell the difference

Write down the V-ing forms by another lines of go, watch, do, play and eat. Ask the Ss to have a look and find the difference between them. For example: go and going, watch and watching, do and doing, etc. Then ask the Ss to read them again and do the following exercises (showing by flash card).

Show the picture in 1a to the students.

T: This is a happy apartment. There are many rooms in it. Look! Many people are in different rooms. They are doing different things. What are they doing? Please look carefully, match

the words with the activities.

本课时是Go for it(七下)Unit 6 Section A 1a-2d。主要围绕“What are you doing?”这一主题展开各种教学活动,本课话题与学生生活密切相关,在轻松愉快的学习环境中,通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。

二、教学目标

1.语言知识。(1)学生能掌握本课中单词、词组及句型。(2)能用现在进行时的各种形式准确地描述和表达正在发生的动作。(3)能在日常生活中恰当运用本单元的话题范围内的单词和习惯用语。

2.语言技能。(1)通过本课学习,进一步培养学生听、说、读、写的能力。(2)培养学生自主学习及合作学习的技能。

3.情感态度。通过完成本课任务型活动,培养学生合作与竞争的意识。

三、教学的重、难点

基于上述对教材的分析,我确定本单元的教学重点为词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。

教学难点为能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。

四、教学方法

1.学情分析

七年级学生比较活跃,渴望用英语与他人交流,希望能得到他人的肯定。因此我在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来,提高他们综合运用语言的能力,同时使他们体验到成功的喜悦。

2.教法分析

新课标指出,学习英语重在使用。立足这一点,本课主要采用“情景交际法”和“任务驱动法”教学,即充分利用学生已有的知识和生活经验,创设生活化的真实情境(或半真实情境)引导学生在运用语言中学习语言,然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言。同时开展多种类型的任务型活动,提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究性学习。

五、教学过程设计

Step 1 Warming up

播放英文歌曲“What are you doing?”并让学生试着跟唱。

设计意图:通过歌曲,创设轻松的学习氛围。学生跟唱的过程,也是熟悉本课中句型的过程。

Step 2 Lead-in

本课以自由交谈和游戏开始。首先,我会问学生“What are we doing now”?并帮助学生回答“Were having an English class now.”接着,我们一起来做游戏。先由我来表演动作,学生来猜。eg. S:What are you doing?T:I am reading a book. 然后,由学生两人为一组,继续这个游戏。

设计意图:自由交谈和游戏创设出愉快的学习氛围,同时在这个环节中,学生自然而然地学会使用句型What are you doing?Im...

Step 3 Presentation

利用幻灯片出示图片,学习句型:?Whats she/he doing. She/He is eat-ing.接着,盖住图片,让学生根据记忆,对图片中的人物活动进行问答。

设计意图:利用图片学习,更为直观。通过记忆挑战和口头操练,学生能继续保持学习热情,并学会使用句型Whats she/he doing?She/He is...

Step 4 Practice

Task1 Listening 1b. 2a & 2b

播放录音,学生写出答案;在此基础上,让学生模仿录音,注意其语音语调;最后,让学生分角色扮演。

设计意图:锻炼学生英语听说的能力。

Task 2 Reading 2d

第一遍读,回答以下三个问题:What are Jenny and Laura doing?What does Jenny invite Laura to do?When and where shall they meet?第二遍读,找出英文中常用的电话用语。

设计意图:采用任务式教学,引导学生完成阅读,有助于培养学生从语篇中获取有效信息的能力,从而提高阅读技巧。同时找出电话用语为下个教学环节做准备。

Task 3 Speaking:make a call

学生分组合作,四人为一组。设想某一个情景,如去博物馆等,然后打电话邀请组内其他同学参加。

设计意图:小组学习更能调动每个学生的参与热情,培养其合作意识。打电话的情景设计有助于学生掌握目标语言,在用中学。

Task 4 Writing:make a report

出示Lucy一家照片,学生先讨论图片中人物的活动,然后看图写话,What people are doing,后作报告,并选出优秀作品。

设计意图:通过看图写话,进一步练习目标语言,并培养学生的写作能力。

Step 5 Summary

学生总结本课收获。

设计意图:培养学生自学及总结能力,并巩固新知。

Step 6 Homework(二选一)

1.自己利用所学创作歌曲“What are you doing?Im...”2.出示家人或朋友照片,用英语介绍What they are doing.

本单元主题是“I am watching TV.”,并以这一主题引出现在进行时的一般疑问句,否定句以及特殊疑问句等语言功能。本单元旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习、交流环境,通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。并通过课堂实践活动,让学生在“做中学”(learning by doing),并在做的过程中注意观察别人的行动,准确地用英语来表达出来。

Section A 1a--1c部分是本单元的第一课时,这一课时通过常见的一些动词短语引出现在进行时的教学,学好本课时对以后的Section B部分的学习起到铺垫作用。

二、学情分析

我所教学的对象是初一学生,对英语普遍感兴趣,但有很大的不稳定性,好奇心强,求知欲旺盛。因此我在设计教学活动时尽量设计让他们都能参与的活动,让他们有更多的机会来说英语,并通过学生间的合作学习,降低他们的学习难度,使他们体验到成功的喜悦,提高他们综合运用语言的能力,使各层次的学生都有所收获。

三、教学目标

1.语言目标。(1)短语和单词doing homework,watching

TV,cleaning,eating dinner,reading a book, talking on the phone,apartment。(2)句型结构。What are you doing?I'm watching TV.What's he/she doing? He/She's reading. What are they doing ? They're watching TV.(3)语法The structure of the Present Progressive Tense The present participle

2.语言技能。(1)能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。(2)能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配。

3.学习策略。通过本节课的教学,我要求学生能在观察别人的行为和活动时能用现在进行时准确地表达正在发生或正在进行的动作。

4.情感态度。通过对本单元的任务性活动,目的是能培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生积极参加各种活动,乐于合作,培养学生团结合作的精神。

5.文化意识。了解西方人是如何表达或描述正在进行的动作。

四、教学重、难点

本单元的教学重点为词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。

教学难点为现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音,能在实际生活中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。

五、教学过程

Step 1 Warming up

1.Greeting

T:We are having an English class now. What are we doing now?

(Help the students to answer: We're having an English class now.)

2.Review

教师做几个动作,学生用英语说出动作,复习部分动作的单词和词组,为之后的学习做好铺垫。

Step 2 Presentation

教师出示几张图片,引出现在进行时的结构和用法。

(1)叫一位学生按照老师图片上的提示做动作,教师接着说:

T:He/ She is singing now.

They are playing football now.

T:What is he/ she doing ?

He/ She's playing football now

(2)然后教师出示其他动作的图片,叫一个学生根据图片提示做动作,另一个学生问,进行问答练习。

S1:What are you doing now?

S2:I'm watching TV.

sing——singing/watch——watching/play——playing

这样设计的目的是让学生在实际的交际情景中感受出现在进行时的结构和用法。

Step 3 Practice

1.Show some pictures and let the students ask and answer in pairs.

E.g:What are you doing ? I am eating.

What is he doing ? He is eating.

What are they doing? They're eating.

2.Practice Section A (1a),播放录音文件,让学生跟读,模仿语音语调。

3.然后分组,进行小组活动,叫学生归纳出现在进行时的结构句型。

主语 + am/ is / are+ 动词的现在分词

(培养学生归纳能力,找出记忆的规律。)

Step 4 Listening

接下来是一个任务型听力活动,要求学生对动作做出反应,承接刚开始的话题,引导学生根据所学完成以下任务:

1.What are the people doing?

2.Write numbers from 1a below.

3.Check the answers in pairs like this:

A:What is Jenny doing?

B: He is watching TV.

A:What are Dave and Mary doing?

B:They are eating dinner.

A:What is John doing?

B:He is doing homework.

(通过听力训练,现在进行时的结构得以很好的落实)

Step 5 Pair-work

接着教师叫一些学生背向着全班同学来做一些动作,让其他学生来猜他或她正在干什么。

(小组比赛,猜对的同学可以获得一个奖励,比一比哪组同学的奖励最多。)

如:Is Li Lei writing? No, he isn't.

直到猜对为止。(在课堂活动中实行实时鼓励性评价,能促进学生的竞争意识和学习英语的积极性)

然后叫学生看第26页 2C 部分的内容,让学生进行结队练习。本部分要求学生掌握一些固定的词组搭配,如: write a letter, eat dinner, do homework, talk with 等。

Step 6 Group work

学生三人为一组, 进行问答练习。

如:What are you doing ? I am talking.

What is he/ she doing ?He/ She's talking.

Is he/ she talking?

Yes, he/ she is. / No, he/ she isn't.

(这个活动既可以培养学生的合作意识,又能在实际情景中用现在进行时交际,巩固了本节课的重难点。)

七、教学反思

本节课以“任务型”的教学思路来设计整个教学活动,并采用以学生为中心的教学思路,始终围绕着本节课的教学目标,利用该单元的语言知识设计形式多样的活动。在教学过程中利用计算机、课件及学生和教师的身体语言把枯燥的词汇和句型结构活化为学生熟悉、喜爱的交际活动,带领学生参与教学的全过程。通过一系列的任务活动,有效地让学生掌握了现在进行时这一语法的构成和实际运用能力,活动的设计充分调动了学生参与课堂的主动性和积极性,既有效地训练了学生的听、说、读等语言技能,又巩固了学生的语言知识,有效地培养了学生综合运用语言的能力。

first of all, watching tv is good relaation. after a day of hard work, we look forward to good relaation. watching tv can meet our requirements by easing our minds and comforting our bodies because the pleasant music and pictures can keep us away from tension and fatigue.

besides, watching tv is entertaining. there are so many kinds of entertainment, such as sports activities, performances, plays and movies, etc. in the world. of course,it is impossible for us to be on every spot, even with the best means of transportation of our time. however, tv can bring them right in front of us and with them our life is full of joys.

above all, watching tv is educational. education tv service offers teaching programs on all subjects for people of different professions as well as for students, children and aged people. no doubt, it provides the widest education and has the largest audience. everyone of us, more or less, benefits from watching tv. indeed, tv has a great influence on peoples lives, work and study.
