① If there’s no water, we’ll die of thirst. If there’s no water, we can’t brush our teeth, take a shower, wash our clothes or wash the dishes. Then our life will be in a mess.
Farmers need water to water the crops on their farms. If there’s no water, the crops will die. We’ll have no food to eat. If there’s no water, cooks in restaurants can’t cook food. We can’t live without water. People should save water instead of wasting it, because it is valuable. ③ We can do many things to keep water clean. We can stop polluting water in our daily life.
Whenever you see litter, such as cans, plastic bags and cigarette ends on the street, pick it up. When rainwater washes over the litter, it becomes polluted. This polluted water flows into rivers and the sea.
Do not throw paint, oil or litter down your sink or toilet.
Pick up your dogs waste. When they are washed into water in rivers or the sea, they increase bacteria levels.
Take household chemicals, waste oil and batteries to the specific places at official landfill sites.
Do not throw litter on nearby beaches. We can organize a project with our school or join a group to help clean the beaches instead.

① Without it, Earth would be as cold and lifeless as the surface of the moon.
②The trouble is that our atmosphere is changing because we are polluting it chemicals – in

关于读书，我更加倾向于感性的文章，喜欢看小说，比如桐华的《我们回不去的年少时光》，比如夏茗悠的《日界限》，前段时间还很迷恋郭敬明的《悲伤逆流成河》，这是小说部分，现在的我更倾向于看心灵物语的文章，包括描写人的心理修养，从中总是能学到些许做人的道理，包括人的心性脾气，要如何应对生活给人的考验。
大约是因为我总容易被自己的情绪所控，所以总有意无意的看这些修身养性的书。我的书香长廊里遍布我中意的一切书籍，这也算是件幸福的事了。
不是所有的小说都能被我青睐的，我希望看到小说的主人公是坚强倔强的，是那种独立昂扬的，我会在无形中跟着学到什么，我觉得这对于我来说就是一笔宝贵的财富，我已经有足够的能力辨别那些书籍的好坏，我的选择便也有了些许的目的性，但是，我并不爱看古典名著，包括老师推荐的什么《红楼梦》，还有我国著名小说家一代才女张爱玲的《金锁记》等小说，当然，这些小说仔细静下心来看还是看得下去的，但相较于自己青睐的可以让自己废寝忘食看的小说，自然就把他们忽略了，甚至我一度觉得那些文字有点蹩脚，看着不痛快。我是个急性子的人，大约看书也是这样一目十行。

二、读史书，让苦变为甜
说实话，在以前，本人也十分厌读史书，比如说《上下五千年》，有人都足足读了十遍，而我却一遍也没读过，不过，假如拍成电影，却还看得进去，原因是：根本读不懂。但是读书千遍，其意自见，待我勉勉强强算读完半本的时候，好像也有点意思，虽然记得不牢，不过，在讨论这些问题时，最起码不会成为最后一个张口结舌的人，虽然中途有一点苦，不过，读完后，不就甜了吗，苦尽甘来，一定会得到回报!
三、酸苦相加，真是别有一番滋味在心头

当我们刚刚读书时，如蜷之茶，不得要领，不明其理，迷迷惘惘的，感觉很苦。到再读时，慢慢有些明白，如茶叶缓缓舒展，书中之事，书中之情也能了解个七八分，也同时有了布衣暖，菜根香，书中滋味长的感觉。可读书要想达到举一反三，融会贯通的地步，就如饮三道茶，似佛家仙人。
反过来，读书也如饮茶。读书之始一目十行，走马观花如茶一境;再次诵读略知其义，嚼头十足如茶二境;反复品读彻悟其理，訇然中开如茶三境。
诗写梅花月，茶煎谷雨春。清明茶太早，立夏茶又迟，只有谷雨茶其时适中。给我的感受，清明茶如蒙学读物，浅显而少味;立夏茶如甲骨鼎文，艰深而晦涩。只有谷雨前后的茶叶，脱尽幼年之稚气，没有老年之迂腐，有的是谦谦君子之风，翩翩少年之态。读一本好书与饮一杯好茶，都是让人心旷神怡的事情。
我记得张源在其((茶录))一书中提出茶中有内蕴之神即元神，发抒于外者叫做元体，两者互依互存，互为表里，不可分割。其实书也是一样，其蕴含的道理，就是书的元神，其字词句篇不过是书中精髓的载体，也即元体。品茶与读书都是从元体入手，而发掘元神的。
饮茶与读书的方式也有相似之处。饮茶时大口倾倒谓之牛饮，读书时粗枝大叶谓之吞枣;饮茶时前斟细酌是品尝，读书时细嚼慢咽是品书;饮茶时讲究程序讲究茶器讲究水质是艺茶，读书时讲究环境讲究心境讲究圈点时研书。饮茶饮得全身通泰飘然如仙是茶道，读书读得全心舒畅视界澄明是书道。
空闲时，泡一杯茗，目视茶色、口尝茶味、鼻闻茶香、耳听茶涛、手摩茶器，营造了一种清心悦神、超凡脱俗的心境。捧一本好书，目视其行，口诵其声、鼻识其香，手翻如帛。胸有千壑，达到超然物外、情致高洁的仙境。在书边品茶，人心脾;在茶边品书，甘之如饴。茶道融书道，道法自然，道道想通。
