Good morning/afternoon, everyone. My name is XXX. My number is XXX. I‟m so honored and pleasure to have the chance to be here sharing my lesson with you. The teaching material I choose to illustrate is taken from XXX. My teaching plan will include 5 parts: the analysis of teaching material, teaching aims, the important and difficult point, teachin

Part 1 Analysis of teaching material This unit introduces and develops the theme of “XXX”, Ss are expected to master the new words (……) and to use the sentence patterns (……) in proper situation. The teaching material mainly describes (……), and it shows all of the new knowledge points. Therefore, it is in the important position of this unit. If Ss can master it well, it will be benefit for them to learn the rest of the unit.

Part 2 Teaching aims According to the new curriculum standard and the syllabus, and after studying the teaching material and the facts of the Ss, I set the teaching aims as follows: 1, Knowledge objects 1) Ss can understand the content correctly. They can read and play the dialogue; 2) Ss can listen, read, say and spell the core words(……); 3) Ss can use the sentence patterns (……) properly. 2, Ability objects 1) To train Ss‟ abilities of listening and speaking; 2) To train Ss‟ abulity of working in groups. 3, Moral objects To foster Ss‟ conciousness of good cooperation and proper competition.

Part 3 Important and difficult points According to the syllabus,the important points: have Ss fully understand the content, help them to read and play the dialogue. The difficult points: 1) Help Ss to read the dialogue fluently, and help them to read and play the dialogue; 2) make sure they can read the core words correctly.

Part 4 Teaching methods Well, how to achieve the teaching aims, stress the important points and break through the difficult points? The key is to make use of the proper teaching methods. Ss are expected to learn in real situation, so I will use some pictures, words, sentence cards and body language to help them get a better understanding of the content. A tape recorder and multi-media computer will help me to achieve the aims. The Task-based teaching method, Communcative teaching method and Group cooperation teaching method will be used in this period.

Part 5 Teaching procedure In order to realize the teaching procedure properly and effiently, and under the principle of „student centered‟, I divide the teaching procedure into 5 steps:

Step 1 Lead-in I will play a English song for Ss and have a free talk related to this period with them. Purpose : to attract Ss‟ attention and conduct the atmosphere of English learning. Step 2 Presentation 1) As we all know ,the substance of English is communication and the environment of communication is life. So before I present the dialogue, I‟ll creat a real situation for Ss to speak English freely and happily. Purpose: This task will arouse Ss‟ interest and encourage them to ask questions with new knowledge. 2) Guide Ss‟ attention to the dialogue, and have them read the dialogue individually to get the main idea. Ss are expected to answer some questions related to the new words. In this way, the new words are taught. Meanwhile I‟ll stick the sentence patterns on the Bb. Ss need to practise the new words and sentence patterns in different ways. Purpose : It will be much easier and clear for Ss to accept the new language points. Proper practice is benefit for consolidation. Step 3 Practice I will ask Ss to listen to the tape and encourage them to imitate to read and say. They will read in different roles and in pairs, then try to recite the text. Guide them pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. Purpose; to train Ss‟ abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of English language. Step 4 Consolidation

There are lots of ways to consolidate the new knowledge, playing game is a good way. So in this step, I will play a cartoon with no voice for Ss, and ask them to make the dialogue. According to the physiology of Ss, I‟ll hold a group competition during the game, and ask them to finish the blanks. Purpose: this task is designed to stress Ss‟ position of host in class. It can arouse Ss‟ interest. Also it will help Ss to develop good habits and achieve theirs goals of mastering the learnt knowledge. Step 5 Extention Is this the end of the class? I don‟t think so. If there‟s an end, I think it should be in real life. So the step 5 is necessary. I‟ll encourage Ss to use what they have learnt in class to communicate with each other in real life. This will also be as their homework.

As for the Bb, it mainly about the new words and sentence patterns.

In a word, the whole period is designed for easy steps to steps that are challenging. It will be benefit for Ss to acquire information, knowledge, and their abilities and skills will be well trained.

Well firstly, I’ll talk about part 1, analysis of the teaching material . This lesson is mainly about ______. The topic is related to our life, so it’s easy to arouse students’ interest. As we all know, interest is the best teacher for students . Then, I will talk about part 2,analysis of the students. They have learned English for some years, so they can understand some words and simple sentences. They’re active, interested in new things, so I’ll design some interesting actives to attract their attention. Next, I’ll talk about teaching aims.

There’re knowledge aims, ability aims and emotional aims. Knowledge aims are to enable students to master new words, phrases _____and the sentences pattern , such as _____. Ability aims are to improve students’ speaking and listening ability, they can use words and phrases to talk about something in our life. Emotional aims are to develop the spirit of cooperation by pair work and competition.

Well, next important and difficult points. Important and difficult points are to develop students’ speaking and listening ability , and master the usage of key sentences correctly . Another part , teaching methods . In this lesson , I’ll mainly use “Task-based teaching methods” and situational approach, using different can make the class active. Now, I’ll talk about the most important part-teaching procedure. There’re 5 steps in the part . Step 1 warming up It will cost 3 minutes

In this step , I’ll ask students to have a free talk with the knowledge they have learnt last lesson . in this way , students will pay their attention to our class easily , and their speaking ability will be improved . Step 2 leading in It will cost 2minutes . I’ll show some pictures about (development , pollution English ,spaceship ) , and tell something about _________, these can form a relaxing atmosphere and let the students get ready for the next step . Step 3 presentation It’ll cost 20 minutes

I’ll show some words and sentences ,and ask students to guess the meaning of new words , with the help of PPT . I’ll set a real situation to help the class learn new words and sentence pattern .students can follow the tape recorder reading words and text . Situational approach is used here . Step 4 practice It’ll cost 10 minutes

In this step , I’ll divide the whole class into 4groups to have a competition by reading the dialog and role-playing . Then ,I’ll ask students to make a new dialog to check if they can use new words and sentence pattern correctly . Task-based teaching method is used here ,and students’ cooperation ability will be well developed . Step 5 summary It’ll cost 5 minutes . In this step ,I’ll guide students to conclude key words and sentence pattern to wide their knowledge

In the end ,I’ll give some homework ,go over today’s lesson and preview next lesson , go to the library or search the internet for some information ,then write a short passage . And ,this is my layout design . Ok ,that’s all for my lesson ,Thank you a lot for listening .

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. My name is LiYiCai. I come from Shangyuan Middle School in Nanjing.Today I‟m going to talk about the topic” What should I do?”I will divide the instruction into seven parts: they are Teaching material Analysis, Teaching aims, Teaching emphasis, Teaching difficulties, Teaching methods, Teaching aids and Teaching procedures.

Part 1 Teaching material analysis

This period is from Unit 3 of 9A Oxford English. First of all,I‟d like to talk about my understanding about this lesson.We have learned Star sings in Unit 1 and Colours and moods in Unit 2.We have also learned how to write a formal recommendation letter and how to write a report on the moods of people in last two units.Today we are going to learn two letters to a famous youth worker about Millie‟s and Simon‟s problems.So this unit links with a special meaning of Unit 1 and Unit 2.This period is the first lesson of Reading.The main idea of the topic is how to express their problems and ask for advice.We are going to learn the ways to deal with problems and stress in following lessons.So this period is very important in this unit. Part 2 Teaching aims 1.Aims of the knowledge:

(1)To know the spelling of some words and usage of some phrases. (2)To learn something about Millie‟s and Simon‟s problems. (3)To grasp the main idea of Reading and use the information to talk to others about one‟s problems and how to deal with them. 2.Aims of the ablilities:

(1)To improve the ability of getting information by reading.

(2)To improve the ability of retelling the story. 3.Aims of the emotion:

(1)To understand how to write about problems and to express feelings.

(2)To ask for advice to solve the problems. Part 3 Teaching emphasis

1.To master the „to‟-infinitives and „wh-‟words+„to‟-infinitives. 2.To get the ability of general reading and getting information. Part 4 Teaching difficulties

In this topic,I will use five-step Teaching Method and Task-based language Teaching.I design some tasks to help the students learn.I think if I want to improve the students‟ oral English,I should give them enough chances to practice and I will use pair work,group work to let the students take an active part in all kinds of activities.That is “Learning by doing,learning by using”.Let the students be the masters of the class teaching,thus,student-centered teaching method is well shown. The purpose is to develop the skills of retelling with the key words 1.Ask students to make sentences with phrases that we have learned. 2.Try to retell the outline of the articles.

3.Encourage students to say something about themselves. Step Ⅴ.Summary and homework

The purpose is to give the students a clear idea of how to express their problems and revise the articles. 1.Ask students to revise the words and phrases

2.Ask students to write a letter about himself after class.

During my teaching,I‟ll try my best to get my class alive and encourage the students to talk with each other in English.I think the general aim of English teaching is to improve the ability of using English.And I‟ll use this to guide my teaching.

Good morning, everyone. I am number_____. I am so glad to be here to sharing my lesson with you. It include 6 parts, they are teaching content, teaching aims, teaching methods, studying methods, teaching procedures and blackboard design.

Firstly, let’s focus on the analysis of teaching content.

Today I’m going to talk about part__ of Unit__, PEP primary English Book__. It include 2 parts: ____ and ____. This is an important lesson in this book, such a topic is related to daily life, so it is great helpful to raise learning interests of students.

So according to the teaching content, I set the following aims. 1. The first one is Aims on the knowledge. By the end of this lesson, students will be able to listen, speak, read and write these new words, such as: ________________ and these sentences: __________________. 2. The second one is Aims on the abilities. After this lesson, students will be able to use the new words and sentences correctly and skillfully in the real situation. 3. The third one is Aims on the emotion. To increase the students’ interest and foster their consciousness of communication and good-cooperation.

Here comes to the key point and difficult point. The key point is to make sure the students can use the new words and patterns in daily life. And the difficult point is to pronounce the words correctly and communicate with others correctly.

Because our students are in Grade__, they are active and curious, interested in new things. After learning English for__ years, they have some basic English background knowledge. So I will provide them the chance of using language. Let the students study in a relaxed and agreeable atmosphere.

So in this lesson, I will mainly use ―Task- based teaching method‖, ―TPR teaching method‖ and ―situational teaching method‖. At the same time, make use of the multimedia and all kinds of teaching means, it can mobilize the students’ enthusiasm.

Now it comes to the most important part---teaching procedures. I will finish this lesson in 5 steps: Warming-up, presentation, practice, consolidation and homework..

First, let’s go to step 1, warming-up. I t will cost about 2 mins. To begin the class, I will sing the song ―Let’s sing hello together ‖ with the students. I think singing a song can make students feel pleased and satisfied, lead the students into a thick English studying atmosphere.

After sing a song , I will start to the new lesson. So I will talk about step 2 –presentation. I t will cost about 15 mins. At first, I will present these new words by the pictures. ―Look at the picture, she is my grandma, this is my little brother, my grandma is old, and little brother is young. So can you guess, what meaning is young?‖ I will also present new words by my body language. ― strong ,strong, strong, can you guess what meaning is strong?‖ Then we will play a guessing game. One students will be asked to come to the front to perform the word, and other students guess quickly and speak it out. The purpose of this is to present the new words and sentences in the situation, which relates to the students’ real life experiences, to help the students understand the language easily and naturally.

Here is step 3—practice. It will cost about 15 mins. First, I will let the students do pair work activity, play roles with their partner by asking and answering. Then the students will do the group activity, I will divide the class into groups of three or four, ask them discuss in group and making a new dialogue. It can develop students’ ability of communication and cooperation, it can also check if students can use these new words and sentences correctly and skillfully.

OK, let’s go to step 4—consolidation. I t will cost about 5 mins I will consolidate the knowledge they have learned in the class by listening in the tape and reading the chant together. So as to make them feel relaxed and satisfied.

For the last step—homework. I t will cost about 2 mins.I will get the students to interview their friends asking_______ and make records of the information as their homework. In order to exercises the knowledge they learned.

Finally, I will talk about my blackboard design. I will write the topic and the key words and phrases on the blackboard, in order to let the students know the important points and remember them.
