一、考研英语的考察点综合起来就是听、说、读、写。听力、单词、阅读理解、翻译都需要长时间准备。在临近考试的时间,英语已经到了最后冲刺的阶段。考研作文,特别是小作文,成为英语最能拉分的一个题型。但是如果找对了写作的技巧和方法,那考试时就会像施了魔法一样,小作文的分数是很容易得高分的。

小作文考察的是应用文文体,多是辞职信、道歉信、感谢信等20多种类型。形式主要是给出提示要点,要求考生根据要求表达清楚。小作文不需要华丽的词藻和吸引阅卷人眼球的文采。它着重考察的是考生能否以言简意赅的词句及一定的逻辑性,将事情叙述清楚,表意明确。

为正在准备2010年考研的同学们提供以下的复习方法建议和小作文的写作技巧:

方法提炼:下笔之前要熟读,先精读后背诵

背格式

会写的前提还是多读。看得多学得多了,自然就会有话可说。对于小作文来说,考生在平时的复习过程中,应该注意熟悉一些应用文的格式,及英语的应用文表达习惯。

背真题

考生可以找来历年真题。先严格按照真题的要求独立写,然后找来当年真题的范文,对比着学习。找出其中不合适或者不正确的地方,思考范文的得分点和闪光点。

背范文

背诵不能不说是积极备战快速提高写作成绩的一条捷径。考生可以选择历年真题的范文和一些与真题作文相近的文章进行背诵。同时,基础稍好些的同学们,可以背一下小作文的优秀模板。然后,依据模板进行训练。

小作文和大作文一样,勤写勤练是提高写作能力的又一有效捷径。加强实际写作练习有着至关重要的作用。练习的重点是要检查文章表达是否明确,有无严重的语法错误等。

技巧锦囊

掌握固定格式,准确用词,注意不同类型的要点。 小作文满分为10分,因为其更加套路化,

所以它比大作文更加容易得分。但是,得高分的前提是要在格式、语言和要点等方面下功夫。

格式一般为三段尤其注意开头和结尾

小作文的一般都可分为三段,然后根据要求在第一段中交代清楚问题。从第一段中就可得知是何种类型的小作文,说的什么问题。在称呼上,如果是不认识的人,一般称呼为敬词+尊称。例如,Dear Sir or Madam ;如果是写给关系正式的某团体或个人,称呼为敬词+尊称+名。例如,Dear Mr. xx或Dear Ms. xx;对于关系较亲密的人可以直呼其名。

正文格式一般格式为首段开头空四个字母,段落之间不空行;现在流行的格式,每段开头不空格,但是各段之间空一行。考生在格式方面可以根据自己的习惯进行选择。只要让阅卷人看得舒服,且完全符合应用文要求的文体就可以。

最后一段一般是回应第一段,或者再次表达感谢,期待回复等。简练在特别注意的。最后一段不需要含有很多的信息点,侧重固定词语的运用

语言

用词准确,抓得分点

用词准确是最基础的要求之一。其次,句型多变。例如既有并列句,也有复合句,还有从句。注意语法运用要正确。不管是写给具有正式关系的团体或机构,还是写给朋友的感谢信等,都尽量少用缩略语和口语。

小作文的考查要求中会体现出写该篇的目的和场合。考生在写作时要注意针对不同场合使用不同语言,使交流得以进行。另外,也要注意不同的应用文有不同的用语。建议你对某些应用文的格式和习惯用语,应该加以熟悉和背诵,以便运用自如。

不同类型的小作文都会有固定的用语。建议考生每种类型的小作文,都要熟记一篇到两篇的范文,对于里面的范文例句更要熟记,考试中容易成为阅卷老师重点捕捉点。

提醒

考试时注意在看到题目要求后不要忙于动笔。虽说小作文的字数充其量在一百多个单词左右,但是最好还是要在脑子里理清思路,打到腹稿。在仔细审题以后,认真列个提纲,这样更有利于思路清晰。写作时,注意表达清楚以下几个方面。首先交代清楚写信目的;其次为了让阅卷者对你的文章结构及表意一目了然,注意关联词或衔接词的运用;接下来,应该对个人的观点进行阐述(在写作有此必要的时候)。

最后,行文间要注意简化描述。用简短的语句代替冗长的语句。在作文完成的时候,应该检查、修改,以免遗漏一些需要表达清楚的要点和细节。

考研英语写作中,在使用基础词汇的基础上,应该使用更为高级的单词,句式力争灵活多变。同样是一篇作文,在没有语法、词汇等基础性错误的前提下,一个考生的句式平平,而另外

一个考生的句式灵活多变,非常漂亮,毫无疑问,后者肯定比前者的分数高。考前冲刺阶段一定要对以前的写作方法、技巧进行总结。此外,大家还应该建立一套属于自己的写作模板,模板的背诵与运用并不是死记硬背,也不是一成不变的。专家们建议广大考生在众多的考研英语作文模板当中梳理一套适用于自己的写作模板,不断训练,熟练掌握。

考研英语大作文,对于重点题材,需要提前背诵素材,例如社会类(环境、节约与浪费、经济、消费、文化),生活类(新通讯工具如短信、电脑、ipad等的正确使用态度、健康与运动等),人际类(帮助他人、教育、互相合作、人生选择等),个人品质类(信息、奋斗、克服困难、拼搏、冷漠、关心等)。英语一的题目重学术、观念,具有一定的抽象性,英语二的题目重数据和调查,和现实生活热点联系紧密。考研英语小作文,对于尚未考过的书信类别,做重点准备,包括模板化的开头和结尾句型,正文中常用的素材等。摘要题也要重视。

第一点打好根基是关键

用词准确,语法正确

考试时要特别注意语法、词语、语气、标点符号等,避免单词拼写错误、语法错误,不要为了追求词语的华丽而堆积一些自己也没把握的单词,不要刻意追求长句而写一些自己不知对错的有多个从句组成的长句。建议考生考试时,最好选择自己最有把握的词汇、短语和句式。

语言要统一,连贯

建议考生选择那些最能体现中心思想最具代表性的材料,这些材料要共同表达一致的信息。选材时切忌胡子眉毛一把抓,词语堆积,不伦不类。前后及段落之间在逻辑关系上要紧密衔接,不能把没有任何逻辑关系的词放在一起,可以用恰当的关联词把思想连贯的表达出来。

自我修改

英语写作时考生由于仓促,紧张等原因,很容易犯一些简单的,一眼就能发现的错误。所以,考生一定要留出几分钟时间用于修改。但是,不要大幅度进行修改,更不要因为修改破坏卷面整洁,影响阅卷老师心情。

足够字数,卷面整洁

绝对不能字数不够,即使一句话颠来倒去说也要凑够字数。字数不够,即使写的非常精彩,也不能拿高分。

第2点巧妙使用被动句

因为你要阐述你对图画的观点,你不能总用some people say,others say,这样的句子很没有说服力,你自己写的时候都要怀疑一下。在一些出国类的考试的写作中,这些都是要坚决禁止的。因为这样一来你的文章说服力就差了,一旦文章没有说服力,你这篇文章也就徒有其表了。怎么增强你的文章说服力呢,就是用被动语态,当作一个客观事实来陈述。汉语中用被动句较少,多使用没有人称的主语或者“大家”“人们”,在英语中多使用被动句。在庖丁解牛中,那个科学统计法就用到了被动句,这里再举个例子。

Computers have been widely used in various fields.这样一个被动句是对事实的陈述,是一个议论文的标准格式。如果你把它改成一个主动句 We find some use of computers in various fields. 感觉就很站不住脚。举这个例子是说明,被动句是我们的作文中应该出现的,通篇都是主动

句,偶尔出现1~2个被动句会让你的文章增色不少。在你复习作文的时候,每天改写几个被动句,练习一下,不要到考场上现想。台上一分钟,台下十年功。

第3点 使用谚语,增加闪光点

有些意志品质类的文章,如果加入一句相关的谚语会让你的文章大放光彩。但是不能直接写句子。加一个模板句型:An ancient oriental philosopher said,“谚语”.一位古老东方的先哲曾经说过,„有同学说西方的谚语为什么用东方的先哲呢?比如:Where there is a will, there is a way.是西方的谚语,中国也有有志者,事竟成的语句。文化都是相通的,可以放心来用。建议大家在闲暇的时候多翻看一下英文的谚语,积少成多,相信对大家一定有所帮助。

在研究生英语入学考试中,在写作部分,是否会使用高级词汇或句式将决定到考生是否能够取得高分,其一是因为,根据考研专家的分析,近年来英语写作部分越来越重视词汇和句式的考查,特别是句子和词汇的多样性,其二是因为一篇好的、让人耳目一新的作文,不仅语法错误要少,而且还需要高级词汇、高级句式的润色。所以考生必须避免不要用一些重复的词汇,句子,而应该尽量用高级词汇、句式代替普通的词和句子。

因此英语考研辅导专家们建议2012年的考生在平时复习的时候应该意识到这个问题的重要性,要学会用高级词汇替代普通词汇的能力,比如在英语中表达“很,非常”的词汇很多,但是在考研的写作中,仍然有好多考生只会使用very。实际上,我们可以用exceedingly, extremely, tremendously, hugely来替代very。还有,比如表示原因的,大家可能会用because,实际上我们可以用give rise to, lead to, result in, trigger, contribute to来代替它。下面从词性分类以及句式多样性的角度对考研英语中的词、句子的替换现象进行例证分析。

1、名词的替换

2010年考研大作文中的题目为“文化融合”,在写作的时候,可以用cultural blending或cultural integration来替换a combination of diverse cultures.多元文化可以用multi—culture, pluralistic culture,进行同义替换,这样使用不同的表达方式,一者避免了语言的重复,二者使词汇更加多样化。

2、动词的替换

2001年大作文为“爱心是一盏灯,在越黑暗的地方越明亮”。在这篇作文中,通过这篇图画我们可以看出:爱心是一盏灯,给最最需要帮助的人们,对应的英文表达是:the picture means that love is more needed by people in urgent need of help.实际上,我们可以用illustrate, demonstrate, point out, convey, reveal等来替代mean。

3、形容词的替换

2010年大作文中表示不同的文化,我们可以用various, diverse, a variety of, miscellaneous等来替换different。

4、句式的替换

比如考研英语2005年关于养老足球比赛的大作文中,as a result, the old are neglected and even abandoned when growing weak and helpless(when+现在分词做时间状语)

Consequently, the old are neglected, and even worse, abandoned when they are becoming weak

and helpless.运用不同的句子表达方式可以使句子呈现多样性,抓住阅卷老师的眼球。

在作文的最后一段,往往需要阐述个人的观点或者提出建议,这些表达有:in my opinion, as far as my view is concerned, with regard to my thinking, personally thinking, for my part, in line with my consideration.

总之,要想在考研英语中获取高分,必须要在词汇和句子的多样性上下功夫,使作文更加的耳目一新,更出彩。鉴于此,建议广大2012年考生在平时复习的时候多积累一些亮分点得词汇,短语,句式。

英文写作的“黄金三定律”

发布日期: 2009-12-17 15:35:06 人们进行写作的一般目的是向读者传递信息、介绍情况,或阐述作者对某一主题所持的观点,用英文写作也不例外。为让读者更好地理解所传递的信息,使用英文进行写作时,行文一定要注意做到清晰、准确、简洁这三点,这就是公认的英文写作“黄金三定律”。

定律之一:清晰

文章的清晰体现在读者能够很容易理解作者讲述的内容。为保证所写文章清晰明了,写作时有两点一定要加以注意:

一是越确切具体越好。在这一方面,作者首先应明确了解自己所要传达的信息、读者的范围及特点,然后再选择相关信息,采用某种文体格式传递给读者。也就是说,写作必须要以特定读者为对象,以让读者能够明确接受作者所传递的信息为宗旨。尽量以客观陈述为主,少主观臆测推断;尽量明确无误表达,少模棱两可评论,这是使文章清晰确切的写作准则。

二是组织结构富有逻辑性。文章结构富逻辑性会让读者很轻松地读懂作者要表达的思想内容。文章的这种逻辑性可以通过采用从一般到具体、从“全景”到细节、从问题的定义到分析再到提出解决方案等多种方式来体现。

定律之二:准确

要使文章语义表达准确,首先要尽量不要在学术文章中出现“大概、也许”之类模棱两可的词语,避免出现容易让人困惑和误解的词语和表达法;其次,要尽量避免使用那些有多种含义的词语和表达法。例如:Singapore is a fine country这句话中的fine一词有多种含义,如“好的、细小的、罚款”等。日常生活中这样使用没有问题,但在写作时一定要避免使用这种容易产生歧义的多义词。

定律之三:简洁

直截了当、切中要点是保证文章简洁的最好写作形式。与中文写作相比,英文写作非常强调直奔主题、简单明快的写作风格。例如,在写作一个段落时,常常将概括段落主要内容的主题句(topic sentence)作为段落的首句,以便让读者迅速明确本段要讲述的内容。另外,写作时尽量将每个句子写得简短一些,少用或不用冗长的复合句。切记:短小精练的句子表达的意思才强而有力。

一、用形容词“very”,“single”等表示强调

二、用反身代词表示强调

I myself will see her off at the station. 我将亲自到车站为她送行。

如何审高考英语写作题

审题是书面表达的第一步,也是关键一步。考生在真正开始写作之前,必须舍得花相当一部分时间做写前阅读、思考等准备工作。只有审准了题,弄清了题目要求,才有可能写出好文章。具体说来,审题准确包含以下四个方面:

一、审体裁

根据情景提示首先要弄清写何种体裁的文章,是记叙文、说明文、应用文,还是议论文等。无论提供材料的方式是通过文字描述还是图画或表格,但要求文章的体裁是唯一的。倘若体裁不对,评卷时原则上要从考生应得分数中扣掉7分。所以动笔之前,认真审题至关重要。

二、审格式

一定的体裁有其特有的格式,近年高考书面表达题中,应用文居多,应弄清应用文该用什么格式,是否有其固定的套语等。例如书信、日记、.通知(口头或书面)、便条等都有其特定的格式,不能随便写。其中书信最复杂,根据试题要求,要注意信的开头、称呼、主体、结尾、签名,这五个部分都要写全面,而且每个部分又各有要求,考生对这些都要有明确的认识。

三、审内容

要点齐全是得分的基本保证,漏掉要点就会被降低档次评分。要想书面表达得高分,内容全面和不跑题也是最基本的要求。所以考生在身体是还要弄清什么改写,什么不该写;那些该详写,那些该略写等。尤其是图画式书面表达题,考生应注意,不能把图中的所有内容都表达出来,要学会连贯性读懂图意,要分清哪些是主要内容,那些是次要内容。同时还要注意,有的内容是做暗示用的,有些上文出现的内容要与下文的内容相衔接,有些下文出现的内容需要在前面作铺垫。总之,所写内容既要符合图画所描绘的情景,又要连贯通顺,自圆其说。如写记叙文,要抓好“wh-” 问题,即时间(when)、地点(where)、人物(who)、事件(what)以及其它一些要素。

四、审人称

审人称即弄清书面表达要求用何种人称,用第一人称,第二人称,还是第三人称来写。高考书面表达阅卷中非常重视人称,出现人称错误要扣除相应的分数。其中有几年高考书面表达题的评分标准明确规定,用错人称从总分中扣7分。所以考生在审题时,千万不要忽略人称的正确使用。

五、审时态

审时态即根据所给材料信息确定短文的基本时态。一般说来,一篇特定的短文,它通常有自己特定的基本时态。如通知常用将来时态,日记常用过去时态,等等。另外,由于每一个句子都涉及时态问题,所以考生容易忽略这个问题,随便用错时态,则每个句子都会因时态用错而扣分(时态错误属于扣分较严重的错误)。具体地说,表示现在经常性的情况用一般现在时;表示过去发生的动作要用一般过去时;而当我们要强调一个过去发生的动作对现在的影响或一个过去发生的动作持续到现在时,则要用现在完成时,等等。这些都是时态方面的基本规则,考生每写一个句子,都要引起注意。 以下我们以NMET 2005年全国卷I、II书面表达为例,看一看如何审题。 原题:

首先,确定体裁。注意提示内容所给信息。本文是发给旅行社的一封电子邮件,询问有关去伦敦旅游的情况。电子邮件属于书信的一种,本文体裁是一片应用文。

其次,确定格式。既然是书信,就会有一定的固定格式和套语,原题中已给出书信的固定格式,考生须注意一些书信的套语。

第三,确定内容要点。通过图表所示信息,我们可以看到其要点包括:①开头;②是否有学生特价;③票价包含的项目;④是否有午餐;⑤返回时间;⑥是否有购物时间。

第四,确定人称。本文是一封电子邮件,且题干中有“假定你是李华”这样的提示,因此可以确定本文应使用第一人称写作。

第五,确定时态。本文是询问去伦敦旅游有关问题的书信,时态应基本使用一般现在时。 范文:

Dear Sir/Madame, I‟m writing for more information about the day tour to London. As a student at Oxford University , I‟d like to know if you have any special price for students. As for the money you charge, does it cover the entrance fees for visiting the places listed? What about lunch? Is it included? Or do I need to bring along my own food? How long will the tour last? Since I need to prepare my lessons for the nest day, I‟d like to know the time to return. Besides, is there any time for shopping? I really want to have a look at the big stores in London. Yours, Li hua 我们再看一个例子,以下是2004年高考北京卷书面表达情景作文试题: 原题:

某学校对中学生课余活动进行了调查,结果如下。请根据图表1提供的信息描述学生每天的课余活动,并针对图表2中任何一个数据中反映的情况写出你的一个看法。词数不少于60。 生词:图表chart

审题:

首先,确定体裁。注意提示内容所给信息。本文是一篇图表作文,根据图表所提供信息,表达个人观点。因此,本文体裁是说明文。

其次,确定格式。本文是图表作文,需要根据图表提供信息,表达个人观点。因此在格式上,应注意在文章开头清楚表明图表信息。

第三,确定内容要点。通过图表所示信息,我们可以看到其要点包括:①学生主要课余活动及时间;②学生各项主要活动所站课余时间比例;③做作业所需时间最长,所占课余时间比例最大;④其次为看电视;⑤做家务时间最短,所占课余时间比例最小;⑥体育锻炼、用电脑、听音乐所占比例基本在10%左右。 第四,确定人称。本文是一篇图表作文,根据表格表达个人观点。因此,可客观陈述表格内容,并在表达观点是使用第一人称写作。

第五,确定时态。本文是一篇图表作文,根据表格表达个人观点,属说明文。时态应使用一般现在时。 范文:

Chart 1 shows the daily average amount of time the students of the school spend on different after-class activities. The students put the most time-93 minutes-into their homework, and next in line is watching TV, which takes up 46 minutes. They put in about the same amount of time listening to music and working on the computer, 34 minutes and 30 minutes each. While 25 minutes is spent on sports, only 12 minutes goes into housework.

第四篇:初中英语作文技巧

技巧1::认真审题,不能丢项。

拿到作文题目,首先要知道要求写什么。例如是写一件事,还是写一个人,还是写一份调查报告等。第二要明确题目中要求的内容有几条,例如要求写一篇游记,那么有如下内容:什么时间去的?和谁一起去的?去哪了?如何去的?做了什么?有什么感受?这就是内容上的六条要求,作文中必须有所体现,一条都不能丢。第三,题目中出现的单词,词组,句式必须应用。这也是不丢项的一个内容之一,切忌耍小聪明而不用题目中给的英文提示。

技巧2:检查语法,时态,语态是否正确。

语法,时态,语态是一定不能错的,这考察的是英语的应用基础。语法上要求明确句子当中的主谓一致,句子中只有一个谓语,动词短语的固定搭配(比如enjoy只能加doing,介词后如果要加动词一定是动名词的形式,即ing形式,情态动词直接加do等。),名词的单复数形式等。时态上要求非常严格,如果出错将比其他地方出错更为严重。判断时态的根据在于题目要求写的内容,如果是纪事性文字,一般用过去时态,有时用现在完成时(看到since/for),如果是议论性或说明性文字,一般用一般现在时(纪事性文字中议论抒情的部分一般也用一般现在时)。如果是一种计划或打算,要用一般将来时。具体题目,具体分析,另外明确这些时态的概念,再去判断。语态上要求也很严格,比如动词的第三人称单数形式,动词的主动语态与被动语态等。

技巧3:句子与句子之间的连词要准确的应用。

连词是让作文连贯的重要组成部分,句子与句子之间的逻辑关系就是靠连词体现出来的。作文是一个整体,决不是一个个孤立的句子,所以必须有连词,但一定根据语意正确使用。常见连词:if, as, for, because, so, however, though(虽然), even(甚至), since, until, 等等(不全,要自己总结。)另外,有些连词不能一起使用。例如有because就不能有so,有though就不能有but等等。连词的应用会让作文提高一大块。

技巧4:使用从句表达(前提为有能力)。

如果英语的基础相当好,那么从句是可以帮助提高分数的重要途径。初中需要掌握的从句是主语从句,宾语从句,(时间,地点,让步)状语从句,定语从句这四大类。主语从句,就是主语是一个句子,多数用形式主语it代替,真正的主语用不定式或分词ing形式表达,例如:it is adj for sb. To do sth. 这句中it 就是形式主语,真正的主语是to do sth. 宾语从句就是宾语是个句子。有时用it作为形式宾语。例如:I find it adj to do sth. 这句中it是形式宾语,真正的宾语是to do sth. adj.其实大多数宾语从句还是直接表达的,例如:I wonder to know that „„等。状语从句分三种,时间状语从句,地点状语从句和让步状语从句。只需注意介词的使用,有时要使用逗号。特别的,让步状语从句中的if引导的是状语从句,注意“主将从现”(即主句用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时。)。定语从句是初中比较难掌握的,一般是要求识别,主要在单选题当中考察。但应用到作文中是出彩的地方,明确了先行词,用对了关系代词和关系副词,就可以了。基础在于对定语从句基础知识的理解,明确语法就可以应用了。

技巧5:必须有精彩的结束句。

结束句是文章的主旨所在(信件除外)。结束句一般是自己的感受或者文章要表达的观点,信件中是美好的祝愿等等。例如:I enjoy the trip very much, / the success depends on the details.(成功决定于细节)/I am looking forward to hearing from you soon./Have a good time,等等表达。
